Can you fit an air system to a stock van without hacking it to bits and get a low stance? any videos of and standard van with low air kit to see how low a standard van can go?
I realise that. I guess what I meant was, do you HAVE to cut and weld or is there a way to fit it (or a different strut kit) that doesn’t involve the cutting etc. I assume the cutting is to make room for the bags?? Does that also mean you don’t then have the plastic arch liner?
How practical is this as a daily? I mean, can the air ride setup handle 'van life' trips throughout the year as well as daily 'a to b' transport? Or is it more for show? I'm tempted, but can't be doing with maintenance issues etc
Totally practical, most people run their bagged vans as daily's. The next day I drove this to Dusseldorf, the following day to the French Alp's, then back home. I covered 2000 miles over 3 days driving. No issues at all.
Hello good evening or afternoon sir I have a Dodge ram 2002 v1500what kind of suspensions do you recommend me to buy yes to start looking for something
Good morning, I'm currently looking at buying a VW crafter and I'm going to fully colour code it, silver. but I've heard Range rover wheels might fit these. It's a 2018 trendline van LWB. The wheels are the ones with the holes near the end and tyre size at the moment is 275 55 20. Will they fit a crafter? or what do I need to do to make them fit. Or am I better off just leaving them & buying proper wheels for it. These wheels are only £300 with good tyres. I would assume there load rated anyway because of the range rover size also eh. Many thanks in advance. Any help would be greatly appreciated Ian.
Hello, I wouldn't think the range rover wheels with cover the 3.5 tons you need for the Crafter. They are also likely to be the wrong offset. I believe you would have too much poke.
I have a nissan nv200 evalia and I don't get any pneumatic suspension system ..... and they drive me crazy you leave yours. Do you know of any house that manufactures suspensions for my van? please !!! i need help i'm stuck
Just need to find a way to hide that ugly roof thing lol. I was in vw today looking and my mate said it looks like they just stuck and margarine tub on the roof lol
@@THQAutomotive just got back from another dealer. Managed to check out the Startline, dash looks great no different to the highline now. Was edging towards used t6 but the t6.1 is drawing me in lol
@@THQAutomotive that's not strictly true, chassis notching requires the vehicle be iva tested or at the least vosa informed of the work carried out to stay legal, if not wether it's picked up on at mot determines if you have to go for an inspection and concidering arch trimming has been pointed out to testers as unacceptable because it's at a "strength point" means it's a fine line that's down to the tester.
We love the commercial look. Colour coded bumpers have been done to death (including by us) We had to order a spec'd up startline especially because we wanted textured bumpers. This thing is staying commercial 100%
So unrealistic, for us normal poor people. That's just the way life is I suppose nowadays! That's social media for you. Just an other exploiter for you! It's a sad life we live in. Very sad.
What’s unrealistic? Air suspension? A new van? This is what we do, it’s our job. It’s not what life is about that. Some can / want to send the money, most can’t / don’t. You can spending 10% of what this thing cost and still have a great, usable, fun vehicle. The good thing with these is, done well they are an investment, they don’t loose money. Right now they are actually going up and up.

Absolutely beautiful!
Would love to be in a position to have one exactly like this, I bet it’s a beautiful comfortable drive! Enjoy the euro trip!
It really is amazing to drive. I've just done 2000 miles from Chamonix and back and loved it
Fastest void body warranty ever!! Looks amazing👍
We do our best :P
That van looks so good man,I always wanted one of these,I think it also looks nice without colour coded bumpers
The Commerical look is the future ;)
@@daveyjones1 I don't know, we've done loads of shiney bling stuff and we've really loving the Commerical look. Each to their own.
Looks Awesome! I wish we could get the Transporter in the USA.
Yeah we get asked a lot. Its such a shame you can't get them
I love the reg and the van is gorgeous
This van is long gone now. Can't wait for my next van to arrive to build the next A T61 LOW
Would you mind telling me what size tyres you are running on your winter wheels?
Looks awesome! I'm coming round to the commercial look... 👌🏻👌🏻
Its the best look on the T6.1 we think
the commercial bumper swap is the dog bollocks. going to get that also.
Do you need to have the cutting and welding done up front in order to fit air ride to a T5? Thanks guys.
Yes, its the same chassis.

@Transporter HQ
Okay 👍🏼
Thanks so much for the reply.
I'll keep following you guys for idea 💡 😉
Hi mate...nice looking van! What size wheels are they? My T5 is bagged with 20s and I can’t deflate the bags fully as they touch the archs...
They're 20's. Your wheels it either too wide, not an ideal offset or your tyres are too big.
Great looking van, what are the alloys off ?
Didn't realise you have to cut away sections of the chassis and panels wow
Only to get it extra low
How low without cutting chassis/panels? Whats the range from highest to lowest?

Worlds tidiest install lads! P.s I want one of those transporter hq/ SoLow crews 👊🏽👊🏽
Maybe we should make them for customers? Currently only staff have them
Transporter HQ yeah definitely do it! I would rock one! 👊🏽😎
awesome....good job
I got the same van. Is it possible to bag it without modifying the body? Or is it absolutely necessary?
yeah you can do. It just won't go as low.
Hi do you get a more comfortable ride on air than coilovers at a reasonable ride hight when travelling around?
Honest option, unless you are on the absolute sweet spot PSI wise with air, good coilovers are better.
@@THQAutomotive thanks for the reply
How much for the whole job including parts.....
Hi guys , can you tell me do the Radi8 sd11 fit on a T6 ? I’ve been told not as mine is the T32
They fit but aren’t T32 load rated.

in norway, modifying the chassis would instantly make it illegal for use on public roads. more lenient rules in the UK perhaps?
Yes as long as its done safely, there are no issues here.
