@@ElishaD-rb8pv Golf is hard and everyone has their career highs and lows. The level of competition is so high, so no-one ever consistently "crushes the competition" in golf. We are the lucky ones that Wesley takes the time to impart his knowledge. If he gets back to his best on the PGA Tour it will be great, but I am just as happy that he is crushing life at the moment and taking us along for the ride.
I meant you guys way way back in 2016 or 2017 when George was playing a qualifier at Brunswick Country Club for the RSM. Love the content! Glad to see you and your brother both playing well. Looking forward to seeing you back in the winners circle! Keep grinding- not sure if you’re still working with Dr. Mo, but remember to take it one shot at a time!
It was helpful in terms of seeing your mindset, and seeing why you're so good with the wedge. Seeing you use your imagination and creativity, and seeing you enjoying the process of figuring out ways to make your vision come to life, it's easy to see why you've developed such amazing feel with that club. It's what art is all about.
I think it would be super cool to hear some of the different situations that ya'll actually have around greens and what shot you like to do there. Something similar to bump and run vs flop vs standard shot.
Just got me a 64* wedge that is now my GO TOO down here in SSI, I have become a master of the spin. All thanks to watching Wedgley Bryan. Thanks big dawg.
Practicing different techniques with the hands has always opened up a level of creativity for me on the course. Difference is, I need to go under and around trees often lol. But I practiced a low hook runner to go around a bunker in case I couldn't go over and that one actually helped me save a par from under a pine tree.
More of these please. Working on my short game is my favorite thing to do, so love seeing these kind of videos. Tried some of these today and man, it felt pretty good 👍
Saw this on Friday, yesterday I tried the back foot shaft lean low spinner after missing a par 3 green short side way to the right. Skip skip skip in the fringe and stopped pin high. Really fun shot!
13:22 this shot is very helpfull around the greens when in trouble (trees, tree rock hard mud, leafs) because it comes out very similar every time...especially when you have no idea how bounce will work out...but thats the European courses but we trained it as around green recovery or if ball is beside a tree you go lefty or this one (me as total amateur will go this one 100% of the time) sorry for bad English
Absolutely love the idea, I just wish we saw the ball landing & spinning/checking more. A lot of the shots just stayed on the golfer & we didn't get to see the result. Obviously it's Wes, so we know it finished phenomenally, just wish we saw the ball when Jamie's shot went in & some others like that. Loved the video either way, keep pumping out the entertaining content, Wes!
I see how pulling off such exxagerated shots using extreme hand manipulation and succeeding only leads to such confidence standing over a basic chip shot that would leave other golfer's doubting themselves. That... plus knowing what you're capable of, if absolutely necessary in extreme circumstances has to be comforting.
Very interesting Wesley great guest, a true kindred spirit of the short game. You have forgotten more about ball club face contact than the majority of great golfers will ever know So you had an off day it changes not a thing. You are one of the most talented strikers of the gold ball on Gods green earth. Your putting and chipping can be on fire. You more times than chance/luck could ever permit hit world class shots you've pulled off shots from deep in the woods swinging the ball left or right at will. At the same time so many options could be an issue because you can do so much with the ball your mind go through endless possibilities maybe distracting. bv I could not begin to understand the grind of touring pro. I do know pressure 25 years over the road cold calling salesman. Enjoy your down time, take advantage of the things money can't buy one good finish in your limited starts this season and overnight your back in the grind. George is right there as well, I look forward to seeing you both competing. See what your Pop thinks he might not say if you don't ask.
Any insight on any upcoming tournaments you’re entering into Wes? Any DP world tour or Korn ferry tournaments? The Puerto Rico open is coming up you top 10 it last year, are u getting into it again? What about the Myrtle Beach classic? Are you playing that one? We want to see you play tournaments !
Low banana slice cut spinner is what I call my "impress your friends" shot. I play mine with an open face and it comes out around 27* launch will usually take a HUGE first hop then stop dead or back up a bit. Perfect for that into the wind 30-40 yarder.
Is there a certain type of bounce that you prefer on your 60 when using it for everything around the green? any vokey grind that closely resembles what you use? I find my 4 L grind just digs too much, I haven't dialed in a feel for it. And the D grind I just couldn't open up at all.
One time I was having a tough start to a round and came up short on a par 4. Get up there and say “what the heck, I’m not having a good round might as well try some fun shots” cut spin a wedge and it lands right next to the hole, spins right and goes in. Golf….
Wes said this wasn’t helpful and I probably won’t be hitting or practicing most of these but it does confirm some of my own conclusions that I’ve come to around the greens. That’s in it self is pretty helpful👍
I recently learned after a decade or more of golf, that these shots are all about the chest, the club and chest need to move together to take the hands out of it, and rotate. Its a mini full shot
I did the Wesley full looking backswing on a short chip where he lets the club head just fall under the ball, my friends were like wtf! They thought I was going to smash it 100 yards. Try it sometime to at least scare your friends.
You talk about being a "one trick pony" around the greens with the 58 degree wedge. I think you could make a great video showing how you can hit a variety of greenside shots using the same club.
Some may think all of this is useless and in necessary but short game is all feel and the better you are at these kind of shots the better you will be overall.
Green side camera would have made this super sick. The one camera angle didn’t do most of the shots justice tbh but still fun to watch. Maybe do it again with the multiple cameras and play horse with calling the crazy shots and closest to the pin on them or something. Good stuff either way fellas
Anyone got an input on how often it is necessary to replace wedges, at least if you want to keep a good amount of spin. Playing in junior tournaments I want to make sure I’m not at a disadvantage by not having new grooves.
Nailed a cut spinner stinger straight at my truck window, thought well shit then I watched it cut behind my shed n heard it hit the tin roof of the house. 😂 Found it in the front yard zero broken windows!
I’d disagree on this not being useful. Messing around like this is not only fun. But really helps develop feel. As well as an understanding of how to manipulate ball flight, spin, etc.
I'm clearly doing something wrong ... I thought I could play cut spinners... I've never ripped the cover off my ball and left marks on my club face .. 😂
Wesley is a beast with a wedge...
needs to be a beast on the pga tour, I'd rather see him crushing competition

The PGA may not be the best platform for revealing the best golfers. Lots of golfers perform best when not being marketed.
Wesley is remarkable.
This is where golf becomes art. So cool to watch these guys with a wedge in their hand
This was not exactly the most helpful….but it was a blast 💥

Cobblestone?

Taking this to the course tomorrow. What could go wrong?😂😂😂
Nah, it's crazy how its legal that these videos are free love it🦾🦾

It's fun to see professional doing crazy shots and actually having fun playing

Bunker practice would be good too. Enjoyed this one👍

This was so much fun to watch . More of these videos !!!
Love this! Very informative.
@bryanbrosgolf this was awesome. We need more of his type of suff! Could you do a similar video with irons?
Always like the creative shots.
Oh nice! I love these type of shots as well so I tried them today at the practice green. For some reason I got kicked off the premises.
This is awesome wes love these types of videos
Hey wes would you go back into a full face of grooves for wedges
You guys are the best RUclips golf. The best players period. Need more content. Good luck at Myrtle beach q
I look forward to your posts . Still snow on the ground in Ottawa Canada

What bounce, grind and lofts do y’all play
What do you use for east vs west coast?
Great content and looked so much fun. Would be nice to see how You play short shots from deep rough.

Absolutely fantastic. I can’t hit any kind of chip but I loved the show.
That was awesome; hard to do it off mats though & got some strange looks from the folks at the driving range 😅
LOVE this content
Amazing hands Wes. Very impressive short game.
Any insight on any upcoming tournaments you’re entering into Wes?

I love to see the craft of Wedgley.
well i was going to practice putting today but looks like im hitting nippers
Can you teach the Joseph mayo shot? we want to see someone of your caliber demonstrating and walking us through it!
Jamie is very good on camera, a natural! Good vid.
This was a lot of fun, Bunker shots please!
Thank you for the video covering: Wedges.

23:58 😂. A normal high shot sometimes destruct my game. Cool video though giving insight on hand positions that some might not even consider.
Great stuff. Let’s see the bunker action.
I try any of those shots it's 1- stubbed goes three feet 2. skulled into the woods behind the green
I did the Wesley full looking backswing on a short chip where he lets the club head just fall under the ball, my friends were like wtf! They thought I was going to smash it 100 yards. Try it sometime to at least scare your friends.
This dude is a PERFECT girl dad. They are gonna have so much fun with him
Could you use the back in stance. Choppy shot if you were close to a bulkhead and had to come in steep?
You talk about being a "one trick pony" around the greens with the 58 degree wedge. I think you could make a great video showing how you can hit a variety of greenside shots using the same club.
I love the idea of off the rail stuff to force hand recognition. Brilliant
Wesley, I watched an older video of you and noticed that your iron swing was shorter and a tad bit flatter...did you do this by design?
Would be interesting to know what lofts/grinds you were using.
I believe Wes uses a 58. He’s made a video on the grinds awhile back.
What grinds and bounce are you guys playing? Seems like tight turf...
The mudball call-out on height and spin is a classic. Next shot has to be a straight skull
Some may think all of this is useless and in necessary but short game is all feel and the better you are at these kind of shots the better you will be overall.
Wicked fun! Good stuff!
Best video ever!!!! 😂😂😂 I loved it!!!
Fun stuff but lets get some trick shots going with kitchen pans next !
Green side camera would have made this super sick. The one camera angle didn’t do most of the shots justice tbh but still fun to watch. Maybe do it again with the multiple cameras and play horse with calling the crazy shots and closest to the pin on them or something. Good stuff either way fellas
Noted !!
i love bryan bros TV
Wes, how about you show us how to hit shots with lots of backspin!!!
I really want to learn that low spinner
Rough camera work lol. Loved the reaction to the hole out I guess
Anyone got an input on how often it is necessary to replace wedges, at least if you want to keep a good amount of spin. Playing in junior tournaments I want to make sure I’m not at a disadvantage by not having new grooves.
That was dope...period
We need a greens cam bros 🫣
I hope to someday come play Solina... I want Wesley to chirp me for no apparent reason. It's a weird goal but I need this in my life.
Bring Jamie on Bryan Bros Golf for a stroke play match
16:21 more impressive than this hole out is that Wes literally knew it will go in the moment ball leaves clubface
Nailed a cut spinner stinger straight at my truck window, thought well shit then I watched it cut behind my shed n heard it hit the tin roof of the house. 😂 Found it in the front yard zero broken windows!
Great I’m gunna look like a pro in no time
This is like juggling in soccer. All for touch, and you can tell who can do it and who cant
Let's freaking go boys
My favourite part of the game, short game. Wes is the king 👍🏻
Great video but why was Cinderella’s castle in the thumbnail?
⛳️📊 How are we not pulling out the quad for this?
What bounce and grind do you Guys use?
lol. Sickos destroying that practice facility. 😂
Silky mitts.
For those high ones is your weight still mostly on the front foot?
For basically any feel shot you want your weight steady on your front foot. If you start shifting that's when you chunk it or skull it.
Up next I'll be teaching my signature swing and how to hook a lob wedge 50 yards
Thumbnail 👀👀🔥
love it!!
Could watch y’all hit wedges and practice all day
I’d disagree on this not being useful. Messing around like this is not only fun. But really helps develop feel. As well as an understanding of how to manipulate ball flight, spin, etc.
Make this a competition or like a game of HORSE and I would watch this weekly
Noted!
0:44 Wedgely has become Pudgely 👀
That belly may have qualified you a spot on the Bob Does Sports roster.
Hey Wes, chip with a 9 iron😵💫😀
I see we are taking the thumbnail game seriously 😂
Wesley and Brad Vs George and Luke
That was fun
Yesssss
Sooo good
Love watching the skill involved as unhelpful as ut is haha
I play games with friends with this but not on the course
Why is it that the most fun shots to hit in golf are also the ones that are never a good idea to hit?
Lob wedge? 54?
Why doesn’t Wesley go play LIV golf.
I'm clearly doing something wrong ... I thought I could play cut spinners...
I've never ripped the cover off my ball and left marks on my club face .. 😂
Lets go to the Beach, get us out of the sand! :)
My divots are about 45* left on a normal shot lmaoo
