I really don’t understand why someone would feel the need to be so mean or rude that it would cause someone to cry.
Some customers are having a bad day themselves and take it out on us without meaning to. Other times people are just plain mean!
I start in 2 weeks, and this video definitely made me feel better:) I know in the beginning it will be tough trying to remember everything, but at the end of the day it’s just coffee. Anyone can do the job
Good luck!
@@BellaTealSings I finished my first week of training, and let me tell you I’m overwhelmed 😅
@@juliapoly I was too! But it's so much fun
@@BellaTealSings I was put on register and I completely blanked out xD so many buttons lol, but after a few weeks I’ll probably get the hang of it 👍🏼
@@juliapoly YESS i completely understand, when i first started it took me so long to find the right button lol
Not sure if the recipe has changed but caramel ribbon comes with whip and DC on the bottom of the cup and also has caramel drizzle on top.
As someone who just started… this is the most well-stocked Starbucks I’ve ever seen (but that could be bc it’s in a store)
Right now there is a shortage of ingredients at most Starbucks, but this video was filmed a few months back when there wasn't a shortage!
Right I work in a actual Starbucks shop and it’s never this nicely stocked
I had my first day today it was fun but so overwhelming. DEFINITELY study your drinks guys!!
That's awesome! Congrats!
Highlighters, highlighters, highlighters are my best friend at the moment, so many combinations 😂 Good luck!!
I'm sooooo scared lol interview Monday!
Yesterday, i had my first day too.
I AGREE, fun but overwhelming. Good luck for us :)
My first day is Tuesday and supposedly its one of the busiest stores in my area. Kinda terrified since my sister said you have to memories the recipes and I have shit memory lmao. But we shall see how it goes!
I just finished my interview yesterday she said she will call me today I have high confidence I feel like she really liked me. I’ll update when I get the job (cause I know I will😊😊😊)
Edit:I GOT THE JOB!!!!
That's awesome!!!!
Congrats! 🙋♂️👍🤝
How is it working there?
I actually have a hard time retaining information if I don’t see or do on a frequent basis so your video is a great refresher. I’m so thankful 🥲 your movements are so smooth and I can see everything ☺️
I’ve been to the first and original Starbucks in Seattle, WA. It was so cool to see it and be inside. There was a long line when my husband and I saw it so we waited and went back and didn’t have to wait as long. It was crowded inside, they were so busy. It looks original too, not how most Starbucks look like. My husband and I travel a lot, so we have big collection of SB mugs from different cities and states, I found a couple of cool looking SB mugs from Hawaii that are colorful and with Surfboards. I sometimes buy bags of coffee or other merchandise to give as gifts or for my husband… My hubby’s niece lives in England, we’re planning on going there next year and I hope to get a couple of mugs from London and Scotland. Hopefully we’ll be able to travel more abroad, I have to be careful, our SB mug collection is getting out of hand! Lol 😉
YOU ARE AMAZING!!! i just found your channel and you deserve waaaay more subscribers!!
It's awesome how they're humble with every customer 👍🏼
I’m starting a Starbucks job at a busy location for the first time in 5 years. I’m excited. They have like 8+ people on the floor at all times and I just needed to refresh my memory. Loved working at Starbucks.
Wow that must be a huge Starbucks! Good luck!
I love making refreshers mainly because they’re so easy haha.
I agree!
Love this video!! I cant wait for the next one!!
Thank you, me too!!
thanks for this video!! 💗💗 i just started working at my local starbucks. this is my fourth week. it’s been pretty great but I def understand having some HORRID customers sometimes. but most are nice so it’s okay. you also sound like you have such a nice personality btw. i subscribed :))
Aww 🥰 thank you so much! Im glad you understand the struggle 😂
Ive been thinking about working at a Starbucks near me in a grocery store BUT seeing you make the drinks makes me feel confident that i could do. My memory was shit when i was and off my antidepressants and after a year or 2 from with draws of it and moving out of a toixc environment. My memory is sooooooo much better, thank you for this video.............also i understand i gave a little too much info of me but like i said this made me confident about working for Starbucks
Thank you for this! I was thinking about applying to my local Starbucks but was scared of the number of drinks I had to learn. I am a fast learner and always enjoy a challenge, but I still get really overwhelmed.
Thank you so much for watching! You definitely should apply - it's a great opportunity and can be so much fun! Especially if you're a fast learner, you'll do great!
i start working at starbucks soon, so this helps me a lot. saving this video for safe keeping!
Thanks for watching! Good luck :)
I‘ll start at starbucks next month and your vid was very helpful and cheering thank you so much💜
Omg I love your humor😆, so cute! Definitely made me laugh and smile 😊.
Thank you!
I'm obsessed
this was so interesting to watch!
Hey! The Caramel Ribbon Crunch frap actually doesn't have any dark caramel around the cup. Instead, it gets whip and dark caramel at the bottom as well as caramel drizzle on top with the crunch. Also, make sure to pump the dark caramel after you pour the milk/froast into the pitcher:) Loved the video!
What about the coffee or creme base syrup? Is that already in the dark caramel?
@@kristyo1645 No, you put it in the pitcher separately
@@josephbaca2614 when the ice was added, also add coffee or creme base to pitcher. I think she missed that part in video.
it gets dark caramel over the whip on the bottom of the cup!! the cr drizzle only goes on top with the crunch
@@yayshelbz yes, as stated in my original comment:)
Licensed buddies! Mine is a Tarbucks (inside Target) and I love it! Lucky we still have the old Masterena 😅

I'm usually a chocolate lover but the caramel frapps are one of my favorite drinks!
it’s so satisfying to watch you work, i applied to my local starbucks and i really want to work there. i’m a little nervous though hopefully i at least get an interview!💗💗

I'm starting training tomorrow and am a bit nervous because of the amount of drinks there are on the menu, but hopefully all goes well, and patience & practice will be one's best friend! By the way love the charisma, that can certainly make a customer's day~
How’s it going was it hard to remember all them drinks
@@xaviertoshifty Trainer's super chill, I guess it depends on the Starbucks one applies to. Though I was already a customer before, so I'd say it's an advantage if they remember you and know you're actually interested in the company or customer service. Gonna start making drinks next week, I have to try and memorize the basic hot drinks first.
Starbucks vlogs like these or tutorials help a bunch but it's not good to overwhelm yourself with them because everyone starts as a beginner and it's going to be a long learning process for sure haha
Thanks so much for share your experience. Great video! 🙂
i have an interview on Monday im excited but nervous!!! ty for this video it’s making me feel a little less scared 🥰❤️
Aw thank you for watching! ❤️That's exactly how I felt before my interview, so I'm sure you'll do amazing!
the caramel ribbon crunch gets whips cream on the bottom of the cup and a few pumps of dark caramel sauce on top
You are right!
You also don’t put sauces or syrups in the cup😂, they go in the blender.
@@pierredoescrap4222 You definitely can put syrups in the cups!
@@BellaTealSings I was looking for this comment lol. Technically the only thing that ever should go in the cup while building the frap is milk and froast but 🤷♀️ also to the first comment, you would put dark caramel in the bottom of the cup just like she did but it should also have whip at the bottom too ☺️
@@BellaTealSings standard is to put the syrup into the blender :))
Being barista its my life 😍

Just got the job at Starbucks coming from a long-standing Dunkin employee! Im super excited but nervous, but this video made me feel a little better! ❤️
That's so cool! I think you will do great considering you already have related experience! And thank you so much for watching ❤️❤️
hi friend! I was also a Dunkin employee before working at Starbucks (I'm on my fourth week now!) and the transition was not bad at all. the hardest part for me was memorizing how many shots/pumps go into each drink size so definitely look at/study that as much as you can. also recipes for drinks can get a little tough but once you make them a few times, it'll be easy as pie. don't stress too much, you'll do great!!
Hi thanks this is really entertaining! Stay positive 🙏🏻
I watched first time your videos I like it so good
thx you thx you ! is this the first video you recommend for beginners beginners ?
i love this so much please make more with steps and directions!
Thank you!! Hoping to do so soon :)
I literally just quit my Starbucks job on the second day ( I know! It will be tough at the beginning ) but it was at a train station where it’s more rushed and so much more stressful as people need the drinks fast! Also… it caused so much anxiety 😅 I left my first day crying so.. I’m so jealous of your Starbucks experience !!
It was my first day today and i also cried and if it couldn't get any worse i spilled a drink and it went everywhere at the bar! 😭 also it's at a shopping center so there's always people so i totally get why you quit, i'm giving it one more day. 🥲🥲

Hi can I ask what roasted coffee bean flavor you are using in Javachip Frappucino. What's the difference in taste for Verona? Pike Place or Espresso? Planning to buy one and I really don't have an idea on the difference of each roasted coffee beans. Thankyouuuuuu in advanced
as someone who works at a corporate starbucks it's very interesting to see how different a licensed store is
I imagine it’s probably quite different!
This set up reminds me of the location I worked at in the airport
This is a message for all the angry customers, don’t be cruel to anyone making your life easier. You can always make your own food/drinks.

hii thank you so much for this informational video I realyl enjoyed watching it!! May I ask if they have like recipe sheets when you started working there? like something you could look at when you haven't memorized the drinks yet? thank you in advance and have a nice day
Thanks so much for watching! Every barista is trained on the drinks using recipe cards, which shows how to make each drinks step by step. Eventually, you are expected to know how to make them all by memory!
Amazing video. I tried Starbucks I think a couple months ago and I like it. Nice apron by the way. How do you tie the apron that way I could know how to do it. This video was just awesome because it looks fun working there. Have a amazing day
Thanks for watching, Samuel! You first put the apron head loop over your head, and then tie the strings behind your back. At first it takes some practice to tie it, but then it gets easier! I would definitely say that it is fun to work at Starbucks. Have a great day!
@@BellaTealSings You too. Hopefully one day or soon I could work at Starbucks. And not because of the beautiful apron😂 But it feels like you have a good time with everybody and it's easy for all of you to get along so well. Plus I think it's fun that your making drinks for everyone and it makes their day.
Today was my first day at a SB inside B&N and it was so confusing and when u talked about crying the first week I felt that lmao
Haha right?!! So glad you can understand 😂and good luck with the rest of your training :)
Please do a video on that coffee grinding machine
How long have you worked at Starbucks and how long did it take you to learn the process?
This is a nice relaxing video 😌
Do you have any advice for getting an interview at Starbucks?
Thank you! I would suggest going in person to a Starbucks store and asking to speak with a manager about applying for a barista position. Make sure to bring up any relevant experience you might have. You can also apply on the Starbucks website, but I've found that it takes months for them to get back to you, if at all. Good luck!!
@@BellaTealSings Thanks so much!
Hi Bella! Could you give me some tips on the iced white chocolate mocha at home? It never tastes the same!
Sure! The ingredients we typically use are just white chocolate sauce, crushed ice, 2% milk, and regular espresso. Is that similar to what you use?
Thx great video👍

Hey, I have a question. What would a barista have to do to end up with little pieces of plastic in my drink? I bought a frapp recently and I hadn't noticed them until I was getting to the whipped cream.
Yikes! I'm not sure how that could happen. I would notify Starbucks's customer care about that experience!
I started it’s my 3 day and I’m trying to get the drinks down pact
Can you do one on how to make ice Carmel coffee please that’s my favorite one lol
My go-to drinks at Starbucks are flat white and matcha latte! They are so good and I couldn’t recreate at home. Wondering what brand of milk and coffee are used at Starbucks?
I guess it depends where you're from, but all our dairy milks are the same ones you would buy at the grocery store, whereas our plant and nut milks are either Starbucks brand, or a barista blend of alpro or other brands. As for coffee, all of it is starbucks, we offer blond, espresso and decaf for drinks, but we sell bags of our Starbucks reserves and blends. On a few days, a new blend will be released called odsessey, if you like a medium honey and Berry coffee that leaves a lingering aroma, I'd definitely recommend it!
^^^ this!
Start my first day tomorrow 😊😊
Good luck! Hope it goes well!
Hi.. lovely video. Just was curious as to what was the brown liquid you were emptying in the sink
It was old green tea!
@@BellaTealSings ah that seems like lost money. I don't know much about iced tea types or making, but do they have to been made in advance? I was thinking maybe if they were made on the spot there will be some wastage prevented :)
자세히 알려주셔서 고맙습니다.👍
I thought you were supposed to put whipped cream on the bottom as well?? Or is that just the crème frappe?
yeah no I forgot that step 😂
Hun when you put the sleeve , it should be with the same line with the sirene , have a good day sugar
hun 🚩 sugar 🚩
I want to work at starbucks do you have a tip for practicing at home before I apply?
Yeah! It would be helpful to know just the basic recipes, so practice making mochas, lattes, cappuccinos, and other common drinks that can be made with home machines like a Keurig or Nespresso :) Once you understand how to make the basic recipes, it will be so much easier to learn the complicated ones!
Would you recommend for a person with Autism(high functional) to work barista.
deep inside I wanna try work there, but my mind telling me think about the con side, like "I'll freak out if I get the order wrong or couldn't understand customers." or "I'll run into trouble when I'm working by myself or alone." etc.
I think those are common fears to be had about a new job. I don't know too much about working with autism, so I think that is something you will have to decide for yourself. Ultimately, you know your strengths and weaknesses and the environments in which you succeed. Don't be afraid to try new things!
yes, absolutely!! One of my best friends has Aspergers and is one of the best baristas at her location here in Seattle. Once she got the hang of it, her memory is incredible and I have seen people literally ask for her by name to make their drinks.
Iced Brown sugar oat milk is my current favorite but i always have to ask for extra vanilla because its never sweet enough lol
That one is really good! I agree that it is less sweet than most of Starbucks's other drinks.
get full pumps of brown sugar instead!! (we use half pumps so there's very little syrup)
I start in a week or so and I'm super nervous ... everyone is scaring me telling me that I'm gonna be super overwhelmed at first, I don't rlly do well in stressful situations ... I know it all just takes practice but do you mind sharing what your experience was like during the firs couple of weeks? do you have any tips? great vid btw ima subscribe :)
Thanks so much for watching! I would say to go into with the mindset that it is okay to mess up - you probably will. If you try to be perfect, it's just going to be that much more stressful. During the first couple of weeks, memorize and practice as much as possible. Hope this helps!
how’s it going so far?
@@anahio8643 hey! its honestly going great, now that i've got the hang of everything i actually really love my job. the people i work with are great and super supportive. its a lot to learn in the first couple of weeks but if you have supportive team members who understand what you're going through you'll be fine, it really is all just practice until one day it genuinely becomes muscle memory! ive surprised myself with how much i was able to learn and im sure you will as well. :)
Awesome vlog, Bella! I work in a Starbucks kiosk inside a Safeway Canada grocery store! It's definitely different from a corporate store, since there's way less people. What kind of shifts do you usually do~ opening, mids, closing, etc.? As a closer myself, it's so fun, especially slow shifts for me~ we're nowhere near as busy as other stores, and I just find myself on my knees deep cleaning the kiosk during my shifts. Customers are amazing, for the most part, lol. I love making customer connections! And you're right, being on Bar and making drinks is like second nature once you get the hang of it!

The cold foam is vanilla sweet cream? What’s that
It’s basically cold foam, just not blended! So more of a thick milk texture.
