Plastic rods are definitely "safer" than glass rods I'd assume (since there isn't those potential small glass fragments), so good job Edwards 👍. Also, those Edwards pull stations go way back to the 1960s (despite the various design changes), which is pretty awesome since there's very few pulls from back then that are still made today (maybe the "Chevron"? Except I know Faraday isn't a company anymore sadly...) Great video! Best 6 seconds of my time 😉

I might be mistaken but I think I saw somewhere online where it stated that the Chevron was discontinued. It was around the time Siemens started making fire alarm equipment again in 2016.
@@FIreLIGHt-xh9rb Welp, gonna have to agree with you on that (can't find any more Chevrons from Siemens at all. and someone did mention that too, mentioning how Siemens was using the RSG t-bars instead :/). So guess I was wrong from the beginning about that, oh well. That's kinda disappointing.....those Chevrons were damn well built IMO
Remember: Don't Pull Pull Stations unless if there's a fire emergency. That's also why every building should have this pull station because it has the labeling "Pull in case of fire" with the break rod, while being inside a stopper cover with a loud alarm to go against false alarms
