      I love funky T-Shirts, really hard not to get them when I see one😅 Thank you John, these can definitely be used for taking photos of some crafted goods, like those you make, not only food.

    I love your texturing and painting techniques. 😊 We use 1/2 inch plywood that I cut up and stained different colors top and bottom for all of our photography and filming, but we're finding out the ring light is too direct even for the satin finished boards, so we'll be making a few more including some naturally weathered boards all screwed together. Love these tutorials. 😍

      Thank you for your kind comment, happy to hear you liked the tutorial🤗 I would also use plywood if I wouldnt have any re-usable material. Are you also using a diffuser? The light I use has a sort of a diffuser on it but I never point it directly on the food as then it is too bright and can be too direct. Also I find that direct artificial light does not look very good. Maybe there are some expensive ones that do or if one knows all the photoshop tricks the light doesnt matter that much, but that is what I have found. I dont know if it would be something of interest to you, but I will be making a tutorial on how I do my setups and light for my photos sometime soon.

    I love your shirt so much it hurts!💙
    These are really cool backgrounds, and I especially like how you repurposed your old countertops for them. I want to make the white one, it reminds me of marble.😄
    We use plywood boards with red oak and birch veneers that we stain and polly for our backgrounds.

      Awww, thanks dear, I love funky T-Shirts so much😍 I am always trying to get the cheapest option and if I have something I can re-use I do that rather than buying something. They are really heavy tho, but I get them for free so cant complain. I would use plywood as well for next projects if I will have nothing I can re-use on hand🙂 If you will be making this board please send me some Photos, I would love to see how yours came out🤗💓

    This is a great idea. It's true that the photography backdrop places just paint up a canvas. It isn't that hard if you practice a little bit. You did a great job. Yours look awesome! Have a great day!

    This is great! What kind of board did you used?

    • @inthekitchenwithelisa
      @inthekitchenwithelisa  4 года назад

      Hi Tracy, I used rest pieces of my kitchen worktop. But you can use anything really, but wooden surfaces are better to paint. I have lately made some new ones using some very thin wooden boards.

    Hey vielen Dank für den Tipp! Ich habe wirklich immer Probleme damit meine gebackenen Sachen richtig in Szene zu setzen 😥 habe mir schon im Baumarkt Bretter geholt aber die sind viel zu groß und sperrig. Wäre auch Klasse wenn du Mal ein Video dazu machst wie man am besten Essen Fotografiert. Wie z.B. welche Beleuchtung braucht man,....
    Danke für das Tolle Video 💚

      Meine Backdrops sind auch groß und schwer, aber was kann man machen😂 Die machen aber die Photos schöner, glaube ich.. Ich versuche ein Video zu machen mit meine nächsten Gerichte und Gebäcke und dann mache ich das Tutorial für dich 🙂 Ich bin zwar nicht Expert in diese Sache, aber kann gerne meine Tipps teilen 🤗 Ich versuche das Video nächste Woche teilen, aber kann das jetzt noch nicht genau sagen.

      If I'd go straight to showing the actual painting, I would spend ages answering questions on what to use as the board, which paints, which brushes etc. So obviously I want to explain that before I start😉
