As always, we’ll start with the classic-the dailies, which we don’t do anymore. We currently have 6 days left for version 5.0 when I’m making this, so if you want, you can subtract it from the total amount.
With these 6 days plus the first phase, we’ll have around 21 days, making it 27 days of dailies, which can offer 1,620 primogems.
When the 5.0 update goes live, we’ll receive the usual 300 primogems for server maintenance and an additional 300 primogems for bug fixes. Since the 4th anniversary is here, and Genshin could ever.
We’re getting a free character selector, artifact stat selector, free pet, free gadget, and 1,600 primogems delivered in 4 in game mails starting from August 28th.
The daily login event will start on August 30th, so we’ll get another 1,600 primogems from that.
By unlocking waypoints, you’ll get 225 primogems. Unlocking the Statues of the Seven will get us 20 primogems, and offering to them will give 240 primogems.
Unlocking the domains will give us 15 primogems.
If you’re brave enough to grind through all the maps in 5.0, you can earn up to 2,400 primogems from chests.
Leveling up the Forgestone Ring, similar to the sumeru onion, will get us 640 primogems. Unlocking world level 9 will give us 100 primogems.
The Natlan Archon Quest will give 410 primogems, and we’ll get an extra 500 primogems as mentioned in the developer livestream.
Also, you can unlock the Natlan Archon Quest if you’ve completed the Liyue Archon Quest, bypassing Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine.
They’re adding this because the 500 primos are time-gated, which might impact storytelling for new players, but hey, the devs listened, right? More free primos!
Next, the world quests will grant us around 780 primogems. well, If you complete every world quest before the first phase ends, but surely you won't grind for hours to finish that many world quests, right? RIGHT??
Mualani's story quest will grant us 60 primogems.
From the Abyss, we’ll get 800 primogems if you can clear floor 12, but let’s say due to technical difficulties, you can only clear floor 11-then it’s 600 primos.
The Abyss will reset only once in the first half on September 16th.
The Imaginarium Theater will reset once on September 1st, but the rewards have been increased this time. The Devs will add two new chambers, and completing all of them will give us an extra 180 primogems, making it 800 primogems total.
As usual, the main event will give 900 primogems, and a mini-event will provide 420 primogems.
From achievements, we will receive 915 primogems.
Additional sources like Character Trials for Mualani and Kazuha will grant us 40 primogems. HoYo-LAB Daily Check-in will give you 60 primogems.
Web Events will give us around 80 primogems. A new Redeem Code will grant 60 primogems. From Twitch Drops, 30 primogems. Tutorials will give us 40 And from the Battle Pass, we’ll be getting 60 primogems.
From Paimon's Shop reset, we’ll get 5 fates or 800 primogems.
Combining all sources, free-to-play players can expect to receive approximately 15,515 primogems in the first phase of version 5.0, translating to 97 wishes.
Remember, this count is only for the Natlan patch. If you don’t have any primogems right now and are waiting for Natlan to drop, you might have to grind hard for 21 days to achieve this number, so adjust as per your current situation.
If you have the Welkin Moon pass, you’ll earn an additional 2,430 primogems, bringing your total to 17,945 primogems, or 112 wishes if we count 27 days of blessings.
For those with both the Welkin Moon pass and the Battle Pass, you’ll earn an extra 1,000 primogems, bringing your total to 18,945 primogems or 118 wishes.
And if you want some more primogems, grind the Serenitea Pot and everyone’s favorite, Genius Invocation TCG!
