I have this product and am doing my own n=1 experiment. I’m applying it to only one side of my neck. After a month, I’ll see if anyone can notice a difference between the two sides.
@@Zizaco So I used the product nightly on one side of my neck while I continued to use my arsenal of skin potions on the other side (which includes vitamin C, multi-peptide serum, nicotinamide lotion, and on 3 nights per week a prescription cream of 0.025% tretinoin (Retin-A). After one month, I could see a difference. I asked my family and co-workers who were unaware of which side I used it on to see if one side looked better than the other. They all picked the side with the OneSkin product. So seems to be effective. BUT...maybe it's just because the side with the Retin-A has some redness. So...I'm continuing the experiment for another month but this time I will stop using Retin-A.

@@Zizaco another update. So I stopped using Retin-A on my neck altogether and continued to use the OneSkin product on only one side of my neck and also extended to one side of my face. One month later, I can see a difference between the 2 sides of my neck but not much difference between the left and right side of my face. My take-away: the neck is a thinner skinned area and shows signs of aging faster than the face so likely to benefit more from this product. Also one month on the face may not be enough time to see a visible change. Also maybe it is simply preventing further aging from occurring, rather than reversing what’s already there. I will continue to use this cream over the entire face and neck area.

This is becoming a growing problem. Companies who do not want to go through FDA approval can reach the market under the label of a supplement, etc. How do we even know what goes into these products?
Hi AD, thanks for your comment. I think that this is a complex question which does not have a black and white answer. What you say is correct, by going through the supplement or cosmetic route a company can avoid a lot of the FDA requirements. However, by nature the FDA is very conservative (please watch our interview with Dr. Barzilai who has chosen this approach with the TAME study) and does not currently have an indication for aging. So it may well take decades before any anti-aging drug becomes clinically accepted. Currently there is greater responsibility on the individual to decide whether a treatment is effective and/or worth the cost.

Her study compared the os-1 product to retinoic acid and to retinol. Her product performed better in terms of skin thickness.
