I had the same issue with the screws holding down my burner tubes rusting into permanent place. Here's an idea - replace them every 6-12 months before they can rust into place. Also, use Plumber's Grease around the threads of the screws and don't screw them all the way down - just enough to keep the tubes in place.

Awesome video! My screws were really bad and 10mm socket fit and removed one. The other one I had to use a universal socket and it was so welded into the threads it broke off full torque drill. That universal it gripped it, amazing. But awesome video!

FYI - So I put my grill plates in the same way you did with the peaks facing up, now according to a weber grill video, that's upside down, you need to flip them over so the flat side is facing up. I ever went back to the grill assembly instructions and it does not tell you what side should go up.

Great video order burn kit today. You need to turn over your grill grates that the bottom.

Great video, thanks. Made it look easy! FYI your grill grates are upside down!

did you not have to loosen up the manifold or remove the manifold first? (Manifold is what the knobs are connected to). My burner tubes won't come out after I have gotten them busted loose from those haggard small rusted and mangled bolt heads. Thanks for your video, I've to what I think is the same grill or very close (Weber Spirit II E210)

any idea if this would work for a weber spirit classic e310 from around 2016-2017?

I think so. I believe there are 3 burners instead of 2

I wasted a lot of time trying to get those back screws off. They wouldn't budge. Finally decided to do it the right way by simply removing 4 screws from the front panel, 1 screw from each of the gas controls, removing the old, inserting the new. Done in 10 minutes. Wasted an hour trying to follow these video instructions. Sometimes doing it the right way is the way.

I'm sorry this video wasn't helpful, but I am glad you got your burners replaced.

@@justbill your video is helping me 100% although I realize your grill is the SPIRIT not the SPIRIT II (I should have paid more attention).. my tubes don't come out as easy from the back, I think I'm going to have to take off the manifold

@@justbill i decided to just take the knobs off and the front cover (just 4 screws) and then I was able to maneuver everything, I also replaced the electronic starter (that Weber sent me free several years ago but that I never had a chance to replace)....been using matches when it didn't work - ha, brutal I know. So had to light the right side with a match and sometimes the left if the push-button electronic starter wouldn't function right. Sometimes the whole grill would make a big boom noise as the gas ignited from the match. Now that the free replacement burners are working, it's so nice to light the left side so easily and then the right side now comes right to life, WOW, AMAZING, like new. HOWEVER, the grates are rusted beyond use & the Flavorizor bars just basically crumbled & disintegrated right before my eyes. So I will get 3rd party replacements on Amazon since that will only be about 65 for everything, Weber discounted me a quote for Flavorizor bars & grates but it was going to be $110.00 or so. It was at least nice of them to offer the discount. Does anyone know which Amazon clone brand for the grates & flavorizer bars would be best?

Did you undo the gas supply first? I don't see why that would be necessary.

You can avoid touching those two screws. Take things apart from the front, the burner tubes will slide out from the front. ruclips.net/video/yHbklVj3D4s/видео.html

Do yourself a favor…if you’re thinking about buying a Weber grill…DON’T. Weber does not stand behind their product warranties. The burner on my 5 year old gas grill rusted out…and Weber refused to send me a new one. The grill had a 10 year parts warranty. Grill was kept inside during the winter months…and covered while outside. Terrible company.

Thanks for the info bill. I would never pay what Weber asks for a new grill. I bought this one used for $60 and it has worked great since I replaced the burner. Here is a link to the video I made when I bought the grill ruclips.net/video/PEV-vSJY_AY/видео.html

The back tube is corroded and propane can’t get to the right side ignition for ignition.
