Thanks man! I am glad you are enjoying my content! I hope that day never comes too! It really is an amazing all rounder! I have some cool stuff coming for it too.
Bought my usdm ep3 back in the mid-2000's because I couldn't afford to buy the other performance cars of the era. Turned out to be one of my favorite cars I've owned. Still haven't modded it but one day I'll do a turbo k20/24 swap build.
Great advice, installed my Tein Monosport coilovers last week but haven't got them set up yet. Going to Motion this week for a fast road setup and new arms all around, can't wait. 👌👌 Got the Spoon mirror in my Accord and Civic too, it's a must-have for me.
@@OllyRoss Huge transformation is an understatement! Car is insane now, big heavy 4-door saloon and it's so nimble around corners when I should be off a cliff. 😂Props to motion 👌👌
Depends on the goal of the car. If it's for track use I'd get a proper wheel and tyre setup. If it's for road fun then maybe an exhaust and intake and lowering springs. If it's track only then sell the cat😜
Lovely car man, it's give me some inspiration and ideas for mine when i've got some spare cash about. Thanks for the details and informative videos, top content
Time to get another one! Haha! If you do plan on a trip, we have an unbelievable Japanese car show at the beginning of May that is a must every year for me.
I am glad you have found it useful! I may do it when I have learnt a little more about the car really. Also, £2000 on an S2000 doesn't go too far! Haha
Couple of comments. If you're adding the engine mods obviously you'll be getting it mapped which means u won't need the spacer for o2 sensor as its mapped out so u won't get a warning light. In terms of your suspension mods a thicker front anti roll bar is the exact opposite of what u want, a thicker rear anti roll bar helps the front turn in better whereas a thicker front anti roll bar actually gives a bit more tendency for understeer.
I guess it depends on when you are planning to get it mapped. Right away, then yeah, it is unnecessary. However, if there is a gap between install and mapping, just having the light off on the dash is worth having the spacer. Haha! The front anti roll bar isn't a thicker one, it is a different shape to allow for JDM designed exhaust manifolds to fit as the JDM EP3 had a different standard manifold design to the UKDM cars
Aesthetics Fiberworx Widebody! Supercharge n map Plus a multitude of accompanying bits. Coilovers, straight exhuast rims n tyres. Tad over 2000 ☠️ more like money pit territory
Another brilliant video. Your videos are what got me interested in the EP3. Looking into getting one but insurance quotes are around £300 a month for a 19 year old :/
Thanks man! That is so rad to hear! I am glad the videos show how fun this car is to own! That is a big one for insurance. I didn't get mine until I was 22 and had a few years of No Claims to bring the cost down.
Just a question at 3:07 your little bushings that go on either side of the large round control arm bushing seem to be upside down, compared to the super pro website or did you do that on purpose?
Hi mate, where did you get those bolts and washers for fitting the slam panel? Small touch’s but makes all the difference. Thanks Think I’ve just come across them on tegiwa website engine bay bolts and washers 👌
Hey man, the Tegiwa ones will work for most of the engine bay but you will need a rubber well nut to mount the front grille. This is what I am using for that: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194721618967
@@OllyRoss ahh okay thanks a lot for the info 👌👍👍, moving from an Ibiza Cupra mk3 which I had for 8 years was a great car, but now just getting involved with the ep3 actually so much easier to find parts for the civic that’s for sure
Hey Olly, For the tyres - would you consider 225/40/17? I've slapped on some gc101g's on mine and was considering that spec, but currently running safe with 215/45/17.
Your videos are stepping up another level, AGAIN! I hope the day where you debate selling your ep3 never comes. Keep up the sick work man!

Solid fab exhaust
LSD
Lowering springs
Rear anti roll bar
Job done.
Yeah, that is a pretty solid list!

Love to hear it! That engine set up will make it a completely different car! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Great vid bro 💯 Car looks sweet asf 👊🏻

Nice one! That is going to be a huge transformation! Yeah, the Spoon mirror is really useful for blind spots and general visibility!

This is not the time for this Olly, the car has MADE ME POOR
Hahahahaha! Well, pretend that you haven't seen it and then come back to it when your bank account feels ready to take another hit!
@@OllyRoss Christmas is happening mate😂 Long way away yet!
you can replace them bushings and springs on any car makes it drive like brand new in your own driveway with basic tools
For sure! Makes a huge difference

Sick video...just bought an ep3 absolutely love it! Already modified it in 2 weeks its addictive😅 few ideas off this video too👊
Thanks man! Congrats on the car! Glad you are enjoying it! I am glad you have found this video useful for some mods.
Overdue on a video like this! Keep it up 🙌

I'm getting one of these and this video helped a lot thanks

Hi Olly, do u know if the front lip will fit my EP2 2005 , thanks
Very informative video Olly. Be interested to see something similar for your S2000 even though it’s still in the early stages.
Bought mine near stock this year and I've only done a handful of mods but ones that I'd say worth it

Awesome video! Will for sure be doing most of these mods 💯

Very very useful video. Great job Ollie
No worries! Glad you have found it useful!
i have an ep3 si 03 and wanna turn it into a type r or even something better, definitely want to get the whole type r kit to make it look better
Are you based in the US? If so, the RSX Type S has the K20a2 that the UK Type R has. The Type R Kit would help with the looks for sure!
Would you recommend buying this stock then doing the specs you mentioned or would it be better saving and buying the jdm white
If you have the money, get the JDM one. 👍🏻

Try putting a parent as registered owner, planning to buy one of these soon at 18(1year ncd) with insurance quoting just over 600 a year😳
Great video, on the performance part how much would a ecu and map add to the £2000 does anyone know?
It depends on which ECU and mapper you choose really. Roughly I would say it’s another £1000-£1500
Just a question at 3:07 your little bushings that go on either side of the large round control arm bushing seem to be upside down, compared to the super pro website or did you do that on purpose?
Yeah, they are upside down and got flipped but it was the only shot I had of them
Any issue with bump steer? Or I assume you didnt lower your car too much.
I haven’t lowered my car too much so I haven’t found it to be much of an issue for me
How does the Tegiwa intake perform in the rain? does it have a drain?
I have never had an issue. Yeah, there is a drain hole on the bottom before the filter

Once mapped, how much power would the performance mods make?
With it being N/A, don't expect big numbers. You should see a 40hp peak power gain. I gained 50hp in the midrange though! That transformed the car!
I have a mint low mile pre face lift model garaged I’m in my 50s definitely a future classic don’t sell yours👍😘
Nice one! I don't blame you! Yeah, ideally I never want to sell mine.
Hey Olly,
For the tyres - would you consider 225/40/17?
I've slapped on some gc101g's on mine and was considering that spec, but currently running safe with 215/45/17.
My only concern on my personal car is that I would rub in the rear arch with a 225. A 225 would fit on the front without any issues I reckon
Where do you go to get it mapped
Depends on where you are based really.
The £2k is parts only I guess, as labour would be another £1k
Yeah, it’s just parts. A lot of this would be possible to install by yourself though
Shit looks too clean
I will take that
I was few minutes in. Why doesn't he explain why the coil overs are better?? It's like we'll ok. Why don't tell us WHY??
Poor brakes poor head lights lol
