Just bought one of these 5 minutes ago, in .510 caliber ( I have bought a lot of slugs in .510 for my Hatsan PileDriver...so wanted to keep with the larger of the 50 cal diameters )....can't wait for this little beauty to get here. I am also impressed with DiscoveryOPT optics..so much so...bought 7 of their new ED line( 3 of their ED Gen II 5-25x56 FFP and 4 of their ED 1-6 LPVO FFP ) ...which even surpasses your HD version glass. When I got the first one, it was comical how large the turrets were....but they worked so well I had to buy more.
Hi JC, excellent review and shooter. AEA Element Max50 a pcp with impressive power. Accurate, light and lethal. With a regulating valve it should get even better. I noticed how JC on the second shot had to assume the same shooting technique as a large caliber firearm. Airgun with great kick. A great weekend my friend.
Definitely one of my favorite videos so far. that thing packs a punch. Hitting those various targets is a lot of fun to watch 😂😂 I would love to shoot that thing sometime.
Awesome video! (yea.. finally got my ass down to watch it thru, after a long day trip with the family..😁) Think I've seen this rifle before somewhere. Dunno though how many air rifles run that hammer cocking setup - but this one surely shot damn nice, accurately, and hard. Way neat rifle. AEA has some very desireable airguns.. Thank you for yet another nice n good review!
I like how light it is, but honestly the challenger bullpup is more powerful and you get about 6 "full power" shots in stock configuration. I'll wait to see what upgrades come out for them. Awesome video though
Two thoughts: I'd love a comparison of the various 50 caliber pcp guns on the market, particularly from a hunting efficacy perspective. Also, I own a couple of the 50 cal self defense guns. It amused me greatly to imagine pepper balls or those steel-mix rubber balls out of this beast. That is all. Great video, as per usual.
Nice gun, great review! I’m totally picking one of these up this summer. Unrelated - have you ever reviewed the Benjamin Bulldog .357 on this channel? Not the new “magnum” one, but the original. I’ve done a Google search but found no results. I’m curious because it is one of the “O.G. Big Bore” air rifles. I’d love to see your take.
AEA has some big bores. I think .72 is the largest. You can get regulated ones. You can definitely take big hogs and full bodied large deer. Probably take moose and buffalo.
I like the fact it is lightweight. This is definitely designed for hunting with accuracy as well! I appreciate you watching, and thanks for your comments. 👍🏻😉
I'm not fond of the looks with the hammer and additional steps between shots but can't argue with the power and accuracy. Overall, it seems very impressive. Just wish it had a magazine. Been looking at the AEA .45 & .50 cals to hunt caribou in Alaska.
@@AirgunDetectives Zeus has awesome power but is bulky and heavy. The HP Max line has less power but is compact and half the weight. I'm liking the Element lines power. Also looking at the Bintac S45 which is heavy but good power and is semi-auto. LOL. Who would have ever thought there would be so many things to consider in a pellet gun?
😢 Can you please suggest me do element max .45 caliber is better or . .50 umarex hammer is better. Which is more powerful and ergonomic and hardy for long and frequent use. Wait your suggestion would be obliged And thankful.
Omg my favorite youtuber answer my request and can you maybe do a review on the venom b57 it's a really cheap pcp for you it's going to be like 100 or 150 dollars but where I live it's 2950 rand to 3250 rand
@@AirgunDetectives No problem 4:59, with that kind of energy (434fpe). 200 yards even, if shot placement is good. I would have to do the math from 2 different distances, but I will bet the big slug still has over 200fpe at 200 yards. I can also bet, with enough practice and getting to know the gun, you can probably do 4" groups at 200 yards. It sure is a nice looking gun, and oh so light. But to be a hunter to 200 yards, you may have to refill the air every shot. Where is it made?
This gun is the lightest full power big bore airgun . This accuracy for big game ,I think reg is unnecessary. Reg will make it more heavier and weaker. If you want more good shots. This gun can remove stock and adding a rear tank.
@@woofman4796 big bore airgun need big plenum. So if need same cylinder volume. You need adding a plenum. Than filling must from high pressure cylinder . so you need a big part included regulator and filling part and connecting cylinder and plenum believe me not only a regulator weight. Than you got some low power shots. But same weight adding if changed stock to a rear tank . You can got full power and 6-8 good shots . Much Better than adding regulator
@@ShootTechSysteminc You are very correct. I have this gun in .51 cal and I have put 1100cc's of air tanks on it. So the FPS is very close now and I can knock a deer down in the morning and a hog in the evening without worrying about FPE or POI changes. No reg is needed when hunting big game, just more air.
0:01 Yes, our neighborhoods are looking like 3rd world nations huh. Welcome to banana street bridge. We will just let it happen since we don't remember the principles we built the USA under. What a shame. I know we can do better, because we did it before.
That is enough for me to scratch off my list. We should be smart enough to not support communism, but we aren't. Our elected gave our free enterprise (created by free people with individual liberty protected by law), to communism. That is how communism funds itself, while our nation falls apart like that bridge in the beginning of the vid. The results are in. Free enterprise and communism are not compatible.
Well how loud tho is this airgun i know there was no DB reading but is it louder than the umarex 30? Or is it about the same? Where im at i get readings around 121 dbs with the g2 im curious thats why .
@@AirgunDetectives thank you. Because I'm having trouble finding a scope for my gamo .22 mag. Even the hammers won't stay zeroed so hopefully I can swing the price for the hawk scope. Love your videos thank you
