Thanks Asheritah!!! I have a pack of verses on a ring that I've memorized mainly thru reading, repeating, and writing them. I love your 7 tips to memorizing...because I've used putting the Word to music when my boys were small. Like you, I still can sing those verses we learned together. Now as a Grammie....its fun to teach my little ones when I see them. And....I've just added Versify to my app collection. It's an organized way for me to see what chapters I already have memorized. God bless you as you hide the Word in your heart.

I totally use songs to memorize scripture too! I'm 43 and three years ago, God taught me to memorize scripture. I use RUclips and anyone who has scripture songs on RUclips. I'm going to try some of the other suggestions you made. I also use a Bible verse memory app, which helps me go over it periodically. Thanks for your encouragement!

Thank you, I am going to try the Mind Palace method! I love the song method and I have an app (Bible Memory App) that I use and love. And I love how you said it doesn’t need to be recited perfectly … so true we are meditating on scripture not competing in a Bible Bee🤗

I’m going to give the versify app a try. I would love to use scripture memory on my phone instead of scrolling social media.
That's such a great way to form a new habit: put the versify app in the same location that your social media app used to be. Your muscle memory will take you there before you even know what you're doing. :)
I really enjoyed your video. I'm a week before watching this. I wanted you to know that the Verses app (which I have been using for years, also allows you to make categories to separate the verses. Just and FYI. I have also been toying with the idea of the tattoos from Dwell Differently so that it is more on my mind throughout the day and your video has encouraged me to go ahead and try that. I am using the first letter word method and have the dwell membership. My kids and I are memorizing psalm 91. We were doing the Holy Girl walk with Dannah Gresh. We are still learning this chapter and now I would love to add versify. Thank you!

I've memorized Psalm 23 and the 1st half of Psalm 91. I found myself procrastinating on memorizing the 2nd half of Psalm 91, but your video has motivated me to start working on it again.
The easiest way for me to memorize verses is with music.
Psalm 91 is on my list of next chapters to memorize. Let's do it together!! :)

I'm going to go back to using my Versify app! I want to memorize Psalm 23 and go back to memorizing Romans 8!
Romans 8 is also on my list of passages to memorize!
Thank you for this helpful video! I memorized a lot as a child, but have struggled to keep it up as an adult! Posting it next to the mirror in the bathroom worked well in college, but not in my current routine... I loved Scripture Typer (basically a computerized version of the Charlotte Mason box), but I never actually memorized the verses - they just didn't stick in my brain via that method! Anyone else? Any suggestions?
