This is so cool. I feel like this genre has real potential. Songs could be written like this in the first place and sound really cool, with that happy yet aggressive and energetic vibe
I believe one of the reasons we don't see more music like this in general is that it's just easier to express negative emotional states, and on top of that, more people relate to music which evokes negative emotions. People who are down hear a song that has a "vibe" that is in harmony with their own, and feel a connection exists with the artist. This relationship between emotions and music comes through in the keys most often used for genres such as heavy metal, where even a song that has potentially a positive message still uses E minor. It's not bad, but I think society needs more of the energetic major key music. Especially these days. It's nice to hear something that's up-beat and happy. For me personally I enjoy the lack of lyrics as well. Happy Metal just puts out happy metal. So glad they're back.
