Nice run bro. I love my sledge. I have upgraded my first one so much with M2C and Vitavon stuff that I built another stock one. I put the stock servo in it and mine is doing that turn shit when it’s off and kinda seems like its slowing down too.
I got a max 8 g2 in my sledge… it burst into flames yesterday unfortunately. Going back to stock til I can afford a new esc. Gonna go with a max 6 I think
@@jacobhenson3952 yeah I sent it back for inspection but they said it was caused my external factors not manufacturing defects so they won’t replace it. I told them I’m not gonna buy another one I’ll get a castle system 😄 they did offer me a replacement for $89 but I’m conflicted still idk
I can feel the power difference with the new esc and its super adjustable like punch level and break force and all that so that's super nice to have too
@@taxpayertroy i comes with wires for the esc that plug into the esc the other side of the wire has nothing so i for female bullet connectors and soldered them on so the motor wires could plug into them so you will need bullet connectors

@@zacatecano1986 no they did not. They said I should have run a 70+ C rating battery pack when I was running a 60C battery. My esc never got over 120 degrees ever when I ran it but somehow they said I overheated it or overloaded it. They gave me a small discount on a max 6 esc and I had no choice but to except it. You gotta get front cvds on the rear to fix that issue. Mine were popping out every time
Great vid,we are in same boat all goes to M2C but nothing better 🤝
Yo Chef, not just that hit. That truck has taken some serious full on to dead stop hits 🤣. Such a beast….

Warranty?
@@angelogallegos1400 I don’t see anything about a warranty on the website. Might have to try calling them. Pretty frustrating
@@gratefuldabs9775 damn that sucks did you ever call them too see if they would replace it ?

Hi mate great video I use o rings in.my drive cup's. I wanted to know if the max 8 esc better than the original esc ??

Mr Beardsly,
Did the stock motor wires connect to hobbywing esc? I’m looking to run the same setup. Thx
The motor wires were short so I took the wires that came with the esc and added ends to them so they can plug into the motor
@@chefbeardsly which ends mr beardsly??

What kv motor you guys got in that traxxas sledge
In this video it is the stock motor with the max8 g2 esc
Are those tires 6s or 4s backflips?
6s
Why running with stock motor ? Sensored with that esc is so much smoother
Was a test to see how it was this got the motor with sensor later
@@chefbeardsly nice bro
I'm confused, whitch esc(s) handle 8s power? That's what I want with mine..
It's frustrating how much aftermarket upgrades are needed to make an already overpriced truck just functional.
very much so
I will record front flips for you
You need to do front flips!!

Check out hobbywing warranty just make sure you say 2400kv or higher for motor on 6s 3000kv or higher on 4s choice they should cover it hopefully
