Friday the 13th, I think it's either 6 or 7. There's a dog introduced early who basically nopes out of the film while the killings are happening and comes back at the end. Originally they were going to kill the pup off in the film, but the dog character had been named after a crew member's dog who passed away at the beginning of filming. They decided it would be pretty tasteless to kill the dog off in the film because of that and so the dog character got to live.

Surprisingly, Crawl was one where the dog actually survived. I was shocked. I was on edge the whole time waiting to hear it squeal and wimper as a gator came out of nowhere and ate it. But somehow it was the only character unharmed by the end.
And that's why it's one of my top horror/thriller movies

Crawl is one. The 2019 disaster/alligator movie allowed the dog to survive.
The Hills Have Eyes was mentioned, but one dog does end up dying while the other lives. It's the reason why the surviving dog is so intent on killing the cannibals.
Also, he throws marbles at his daughter. What? Does he think that she's a dog and will play fetch? The baby can't even lift it's own head.

It’s implied they died, but they probably left it on the cliffhanger for that PG-13 rating (could have sworn the UK rating was lower, like animals of farthing wood, and watership down, but I’d have to check Steve Reviews for that.)

My friends and I decided to watch The Pyramid because we figured, "Oh, a bunch of non-Egyptians running into a tomb like they own the place and immediately regretting it sounds funny." The movie called "Crawl". It a newer 2019 movie about a hurricane that traps a father and daughter in there old houses basement and there crocodiles. It is actually not a bad movie if you dont know about it
