These were my first impressions and set up. There are a couple of programmable alphas in the sewing functions...on the home screen, you can click on the bottom area where you do "combination" stitches. Your alphas are there. Thank you for watching, there is so much more to discover on this machine!!! Do read the manual, I never say that but they did an amazing job with it. Also, sorry for misspeaking a few times (calling seams hems and the like).
Vianney, I had planned on returning the machine but after watching all your tutorials, ive purchased the supplies you showed and I am back to your unboxing video. Wish me luck lol as I follow along - Thank you
Have fun, Shereen! These machines do take some learning, but once you get a little practice...it will be great. Start with a simple design. I began basic and increased the "difficulty" in my videos. I have many more planned. I hope to begin releasing more tomorrow with more helpful info re: mySewnet. I will say...the needles I initially linked turned out to be needles for industrial machines with round shanks. I returned mine and updated the link, it is now going to the appropriate needles. I am so sorry for any confusion.
I just want to express a HUGE thank you! My grandmother bought me this machine from HSN and I've been so excited to receive it but now that I have it I felt so overwhelmed trying to learn it. I'm normally very tech saavy and can quickly pick things up but I just have felt so intimidated reading through the manual and watching quick videos I'm seeing online. However, I came across your channel and your videos have taught me so much and I'm back to being extremely excited to play with it! Please keep the videos coming.
You can do it! I have had a few embroidery machines, after the video I filmed today and will release later… I had some difficulty with this one. I think part of that has to do with their online service is not working. Apparently, it’s under construction. So hopefully that will help whenever it gets going.
@@VianneyCreates I also started watching a series of videos on the Singer channel for this machine to help as well. Can’t wait to see what other videos you may do on both sewing and embroidery! I love the idea of personalized gifts for everyone!
Vianney, I was so excited to see you bought this machine too, you are always there to make things seem simpler, this machine can seem intimidating. I'm really looking forward to some more videos, especially using the embroidery designs. Thanks for posting and just going for it!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that. I have one video editing right now and will release later tonight. I planned on using the embroidery designs but ended up just using a font. For whatever reason, the design on the machine itself would not load. So, I still did the intro to embroidery like all the things that you need and used one of the fonts to put a sentiment on a towel. I’ll probably practice with it tonight so that the next few videos will be a little smoother. I don’t like doing that, cause I do want people to see pitfalls… But sometimes they can be worthless. Lol!
Thank you so much, like I said, I’m not a professional…and I’m sure I missed a lot of things. This machine can do so much! I will definitely follow up with the embroidery, how to import your own design, and things like that. Probably more of the sewing functions, too, as I did find the alphabet in the sewing function that is really cute.
Hi Vianney, I was so excited to see your embroidering now,Only I bought a Brother like 6 years ago I did manage to take it out of box but I too was overwhelmed.... Hopefully I'll be able to keep up.I love your videos
TY! I have a Brother embroidery machine and a few videos on it from a few years back, that may help you better. This is the first video, but I have others: ruclips.net/video/ncXth2A1IJA/видео.html
Wonderful! I am definitely learning, but I think the machine is pretty great. My older Singer Embroidery machine would lose its mind if a thread broke...causing so many headaches. My Futura is a real queen! LOL! This one is growing on me as I learn it better. Thanks for letting me know your experience. (:
Keep the videos coming. You don’t know how much I appreciate you for doing what you’re doing 🎉. Really want to learn this Hsn machine. I have 15 needle Ricoma machine I don’t know how to use. Thanks again!
Yay!!!! Great and helpful unboxing/tutorial! I did notice that the USB stick is a 2.0 (black plastic insert in plug) and probably a 8 GB would work for adding more designs. I will also use an USB extension short cord to reduce wear on the machine's USB socket. I found that a replacement Singer USB loaded with the designs costs around $99. I don't want to lose or damage mine. I'm looking forward to your embroidery tips/tutorial!! Thanks Vianney!!☺🧵
Thank you! I did see the same pricing on that little USB! Wow!! I can’t wait to get to using the embroidery function… I was planning on doing that tomorrow, but I did find the alphabet fonts on the sewing function. I would like to do a video on that. Maybe, I’ll still do embroidery first and then follow up with a secondary “sewing” video about the sewing alphas.
I am, too! I will say, the manual is really well done. They have some really nice images, but you have to be familiar with what they’re talking about for that to even really be helpful. I don’t know how to explain that! Lol!
Great unboxing….you don’t have to be afraid of the automatic cutter just make sure the thread is in the needle after using it ….the machine will take up the bobbin thread for you.
TY! I need to play a bit more...I will mention that when I do the embroidery part. I also found the sewing function programmable alphabets after I was done recording. The manual has excellent information and images. I am really impressed with it, normally manuals don't help very much. LOL!!
Mine is still in the box, so I really appreciated your video! The demonstrator said she would never get another machine without the scissor function, because it does something about taking the threads behind? I think it didn't work because you had already gone past the end of the material. I think you should give that another try! This is of course coming from a non-sewer with this brand new fabulous machine that I knows nothing about!😂 Let me know! 😊
Hi, Thanks for your detailed unboxing. Is the machine used for stitching the external embroidery designs. If yes what's the support format (EMB, DST or....)
I have a whole playlist in the functionality, mostly embroidery and importing designs: ruclips.net/p/PLEopYE7kZ4RJ_qWNYWXeFCOcwFARYp2uV&si=YZgZHZjIAsRfOLr5 They use xxx.
Nice! But you keep saying “presser foot”. I think you mean the foot pedal. The presser foot is at the bottom of the needle - it holds your fabric in place. But I know you know this!
Yes, TY! I read about "sequencing" after I finished today's video and it was long enough as it was so I wasn't going to splice in any more info. Yay! I'm, so glad it does have a programmable set of alphas in the sewing function. I may do a quick video just about that because I want people to have that info and how to do it. I did mention that you can make combinations of stitches and hopefully when people read all about that...they will find their alphas!

I also bought this and am excited to try it! Not experienced but want to learn to sew and embroider!

I have 2 Singer embroidery machines. This one and an older, both are fantastic. So glad your reviewing this.

Campeona …. Im into sewing too lately and I have enjoyed your unboxing … LOVE IT
That’s so great! I honestly did not do this machine justice… Yet. Lol! There are so many features it’s ridiculous.
Thank you for your demonstration 🙌🏼
You are so welcome! This machine has me hyped!!

Thanks very helpful i am a visual learner

Mine is being shipped today 😊

lol! No worries. I’ll try it again…it may be something we use when embroidering?

I probably did...I kept saying hem instead of seam and a few other things. I'm sorry!! (:
