Thanks Debbie. I did go back and read those instructions just in case I missed something. I'd been wanting one for a while, so having loads of fun with it😀
Wow, this really gives me something to think about, an embroidery machine has crossed my mind more than once. I am hoping that we will get to see more of what the machine will do.
Wonderful for you Christine I have a Janome embroidery machine old but it works great for me looking foreward seeing what you make in the next video must get mine out again 😁
Christine, some of the reviews on Amazon for United States say that the needles break constantly. So keep us posted right now it’s on sale for $800 US -$120 coupon I just woke up I have not had coffee can’t do math 😅😅
Needle breakages are more likely due to quality of the needle rather than the machine. Could also be something the user is doing when it comes to tension as well. I've just stitched out four projects. Two with quilting cotton, one with upholstery fabric, and another with vinyl. All with the same needle. It stitched up beautifully on all four. I'll have part two ot in the next few days😊
Hi Christine That's a great machine. I have a Brother Innovis. The Brother did not come with any threads or stabilizer which, considering it's cost, the Poolin is better. I'm pleased for you that you have the machine and look forward to seeing some embroidery projects or projects with embroidery on them. Thank you for this video 😀
Thanks Jay. This one is quite a good deal for an entry level machine. I used to sell Janome and Brother, and for the expense, you'd think they'd give their customers a little to start with😀
Wow this is a heck of a deal! I can just see you cranking out your own labels, or stitching your logo on bags. So excited for you and look forward to what you’ll use it for. You’ve stirred the urge to embroider in me; I need to get both mine out and use them! Very professional review, Christine. I’ll bet the company is pleased! Thanks for links and discounts. I might get one for my granddaughter.
I must admit, I never really liked them when I was a dealer, but now that I have ideas for my bags, I'm finding that it can be very useful. I have loads of ideas, and a few things to show in part two of this video😀
I am so excited to see this video. This exact machine is available on Facebook marketplace in my town. I was debating the purchase, but this seems like a good omen.
I've wanted an embroidery machine for some time now, but I just don't have in the budget. This looks like a great machine though. Seems simple to use (which is what I would need lol)
Christine, I actually have 2 Husqvarna Viking embroidery/sewing machines ( the Brilliance 80 & Ruby 90) and s 15 needles embroidery machine. I do both sewing and machine embroidery. I also have a serger from Husqvarna. Embroidery can be fun but it all depends on what you like more. Does the Poolin also sew or just embroider? I just checked it out online, they are through Richword which is s BAI company. I have their 15 needle multi embroidery machine! What a small world. I bought their 15 needle 3 years ago and I’m happy with it.
Petra, I've often thought about purchasing the multi needle embroidery machine (just because I think I should have one🤣). This model machine is embroidery only which will suit my needs. I've had the Brother and Janome machines before as well. I also like that I don't have to wait for a design to be stitched out before I can use the machine for sewing/quilting, as this is all it does. It can sit in the background stitching whilst I sew on another machine😀
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs That is true but I like the machines either way more bells & whistles. If you’re only interested in embroidering small designs it will be fine. I also like to embroider big designs. I embroider whole pictures and frame them. They take a long time and lots of stitches. One of my designs has over 250,000 stitches and takes about ten hours from start to finish. There are usually a lot of thread changes. It’s a nice sound when I have all three machines running at the same time. 😂
I've been contemplating getting an embroidery machine, thanks for the video. I must ask are all embroidery machines so loud? it is super noisy, the newest sewing machine I have is a Singer 401a slantomatic circa 1959-60 and my oldest which I love is my singer 128 La Vencedora hand crank circa 1910, so something like this might be a bit to get used to lol.
I’ve been wanting to get an embroidery machine. Do you have to change the bobbin color with each color thread change? If so, how can you with the hoop in place? Or do you not see the bobbin thread like you do in regular sewing? About how long in real time did the design you did in the video take? Thank you for a great review!
Tina, in the bobbin, you usually use a lighter thread (white or black) for everything you stitch out. Here it's called "Bobbin thread". To change the thread, just release the frame, the put it back again and resume stitching a few stitches before. I'll try to include it in the next video😊
I have both the Jack and Prosew machines, and use both equally as much. I really don't have a preference for either even with the noisy solenoid (I really don't notice it), but do like the colour blue better than the red😁
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs thank you I purchased the Jack Ae5. which is a range higher. I was told it has a fabric thickness sensors. Think I will Like it. You have inspired me to consider the Jack machine.
Looks and operates very similar to a Brother or Babylock machine. I see it's being sold on Amazon USA for around $700 so comparable with a Br/Bl machine. People seem to like it and say customer service is good. Looks like this would be a nice entry level machine. I'm still hanging onto my Brother Quattro 6700D with the 8x12 inch hoop. The new top of the line machines are too much money these days
I noticed this has a lot of the features that Brother came up with many years ago. I used to sell them and Janome. I agree, for an entry level machine, this is quite good, and even better than some of the low end Brother and Janome machines😀
Amazing I have 2 emb machines myself they are really alot of fun. I enjoy free standing lace. I can't wait to see what you come up with so we can make them too 🪡🪡🪡🥰🥰🥰🥰
Looking to get my first embroidery plus sewing machine is what im thinking as i do not have a separate sewing machine. any thoughts on getting a machine that does both vs just embroidery? And wanting one i can add hat device
I used to have a machine and embroidery combo but felt that whenever I wanted to embroider, I couldn't use the machine for sewing and visa versa. It's good if you have limited space, but my preference would be for a dedicated machine😀
I did wonder about that Marie, but think it would be too slow. Especially if I have to put hundreds on at a time. You might like what I came up with though. It'll be in part two of this video😀

Hi does it have adjustable speed control.
I checked out their website and the machine is not expensive, compared to those on the market. Thinking about getting myself one for Christmas.
They're certainly good value Eileen😀
I love this, I want one!
Please film making your own custom design. I want to see how that goes. Now I'm going to check out the link.

I love your design. You could use your sample for an accessory pouch.Thank you for the review.
That's a great idea Loraine😀
Thanks for the review. I've toyed with the idea of an embroidery machine, but it's not something I think I have the patience for anymore.
I can relate to that Rebecca. There's a lot to learn when you want to create or modify designs😀
Awesome! We have an se1900 but this has a larger area. Excited to see the ideas you will be coming up with!
I'm looking forward to experimenting with it😀
I really like how easy that machine is to separate the designs and join them back together. Babylock makes it hard to find how to do that.
I liked that feature too Brenda. Still have lots to learn though😀
That is a super price for this machine, I would buy one if I didn’t already have an embroidery machine, however I could up date, thats a thought!
I really like this as a starter. Just to see if I'll enjoy the process😀

So you use the same bobbin thread throughout? How do you decide what color bobbin thread to choose if so?
@cherieemmons6833 you just use white thread. I'm about to upload part two. I address that question in the video 😃

@@ChristinesHomeAffairs Not yet, but it is still available. :)

oh and please do another video ...with this machine...
