Between this and The Muppet Christmas Carol, today has truly been the start of Christmas! Every year, I look forward to the HCG Christmas Special. In particular, I have such fond memories of the 2014 Christmas Special. You were just sharing Christmas memories and I was feeling sick as a dog, watching on Christmas Eve but it was like opening a golden box of Christmas Spirit with warm hot chocolate haha.
Count me among those that look forward to this video every year. I actually don't exchange gifts with anyone anymore. I'm poor as hell, so for several years now I just make everyone soft caramels for Christmas. It's gotten to the point that if I just joke about not making them, people get annoyed. I guess they like them, so that's good. But I haven't actually had the pleasure of giving or receiving wrapped presents in several years now. So I really do enjoy these videos.

I'm only 29 so I'm about a generation behind you but I really relate to you're love for Video Games & Japanese Anime. I feel like if we ever met and talked it'd feel like talking to an old friend. Also I remember the Xmas special when Rob Man was having a bad year and you are such a great friend to him and let him know do not take that for granted because I do not have a single friendship like you and Rob Man. I know what it's like to have a bad Christmas given how I lost my grandmother the day after Christmas last year, and buried her on my birthday. I can't offer much words of comfort for whatever it is you're going through aside from my sympathies, and hopes that things will be better in the future.
SaviorGabriel First of all, my sympathies towards the passing of you're Grandmother. My Grandmother passed away a few months ago as well, but she was old and it was her time so I was more accepting towards it. As for my situation, It's a bunch of things that have been ongoing. I lost my mother to Ovarian Cancer in 2010, which sunk me into a deep depression because I was a mama's boy and I was a young punk and not on great terms with her when she passed, it was very sudden and it's not like the movies where you get a last word I was just being told by Doctors they need my Okay to pull the plug. Needless to say that fucked me up. Then I was depressed in my own world and wasn't paying attention to my Father whom stopped taking his diabetic medication because he was so depressed he didn't care and by the time I realized it he already had a Stroke and I came home to him face down on the floor. I tried to take care of him but I was unqualified. He got put in a hospital where I visited him until one night I got a call from them he had a heart attack and died the day before my Son's 2nd Birthday in 2013. I'm thankful he even got to meet my son because my Mother didnt. Meanwhile, this whole time, I've been with the same girl who has supported, helped me, and done everything she could but depression and anxiety took me over and I made her life a living hell in return. After 11 years and being with me through all my family dying and having a son together who is now 4, she has decided she doesn't love me anymore, and no matter what I do it cannot correct how she views me. I understand why and don't blame her, it just really sucks because I didn't ask for these shitty cards I got dealt and I wish I had some control over my anxiety and depression because they showed her a person who isn't me. But life goes on, and I call myself weak but I'm still here.....
