It also depends on what kind of surface one is taping. Smooth surface are easy, but taping over orange-peel or knockdown and it is a whole different ballgame. I have used Frog-tape and found it has a hard time sticking and staying in place for the duration of the project. With any tape, the trick is never to go up against the taped edge with a heavily loaded brush; less is more and doing spare 2 coats on a taped edge gets a cleaner line with any tape. My fave is the blue Scotch tape for delicate surfaces.
I love your tape but I have one problem The tape with the plastic the plastic needs to be folded the other way so it don't get caught in the tape when you're putting it on
so that's what i've been doing wrong... I knew I should've spent the extra 2 bucks on a better tape. I have two more rooms to paint...off to the store I go
A difficult lesson to have to learn without any warnings. The blue tape specific for latex,SHOULD NOT BE USED ON ANYTHING WITH A GOOD FINISH, LIKE A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT !!! WORKS GREAT FOR FINISH REMOVAL !!!
its all about application you have to press the tape in and with frog tape let the paint fully dry before removal also if paint gets on frog tape before you apply it its ruined. nothing works on a rough surface like stucco my best advice is to go buy a good cut brush like the trylon with the short handle at home depot (not the rubber handle one) and learn how to cut

Frog tape isn't any better than the blue tape...it still bleeds through.
