Man I wonder how many thousands of dollars I've handed people as only cents back as change at my gas station job. I find myself scrounging through looking at every coins date after seeing a few of these videos lol

Man you ain't joking I was just about to step out the door to go hand over a bag of $50 worth of quarters I found it been sitting in a building for who knows how long some dated at early 60s and '70s before I thought to myself 🤔

I was a stay at home mom for a couple years and went back to work as a part time cashier and I’ve thought the same! And I live in an old mining, big train town so I get old coins all the time.

@@johncade9383 I have no idea how much commission the auction house takes, but it is a fact that auctions pull in more money than if you tried selling it yourself. I doubt it would be 50%. Regardless, you would still have a tremendous profit. Like, DUH. So, keep it in a drawer and whoever gets it after you die will enjoy the profits..they will also make more money since it is older by then.

These are not close to that condition. These are circulated condition. 67+ pretty much means someone put it in a case right after being minted, or at least had it stored away the whole time.
My daughter was born in 1967 and I had purchased a mint proof set for her in that year. The coins were never taken out of its case. Should I have it checked out?

I got a very nice 1965 quarter the other day..looks pretty much uncirculated
Check its edge and see if you can see the copper clad. if not, DEFINITELY check the weight. It is a transitional quarter, being the first year after the junk silver coins were produced. Some of them were punched on a silver planchet, and worth buku bucks!

Good evening I see on your site you are showing the 1967 silver quarter I have two of those 1967 quarters and I believe they are pure silver no copper is not on the edge of it what do I do and how do I get it graded
So this means that people in the late sixties we're salvaging Silver from coins at face value and those folks were smart.
