I feel all the work of apps za windows and android, bluh bluh is overdoing it. Just give the endpoints and spend the rest of the time and resources improving the API. We just need two endpoints, a POST endpoint to validate tax capture and respond with status codes, on success client invoice goes through, on fail do the necessary until successful and tax report endpoint. All tax codes can be appended on those two endpoints/routes as necessary.
The etr option was never a necessity in my opinion. E-tims should have been the only option unless a taxpayer has no problem buying multiple and/or replacing the machines.
TOTAL CONFUSION. Whats the use of all these TIMS and ETIMS yet the most important part of all these which is VAT filing, is still manual and even preloaded VAT returns lack invoices you have to load them manually to the excel sheet. Also too much confusion when we have 3 invoice numbers generated by the TIMS i.e. CU invoice, Traders Invoice, Document Invoice ? which one do we use?
Is it possible to explain in video how etims works or can be implemented for places like salons, spas, taxi services, hotels daycares and even transport ( matatu). The service is not tangible and some services like education and daily transport via matatu is not vatable. How do you apply etims practically? In addition is this system going to show presumptive tax, turnover tax , company tax and paye? Kindly help😢

This is putting the cart before the horse. Etims should have come first. We wasted money on bulky, unwieldy etr machines.
