Francisco played amazing but hats off to Oi he got some bad rolls but still came shot after shot. Even with the rolls Francisco still had to play flawless to win. Great pool.
By no means didn’t Fransisco play bad, he played great! I just wish Oí hadn’t gotten so unlucky, I think the match could’ve went 10-10 if so. Still a great match! Hats off to both players
Oi got so many damn bad rolls... you can really tell he was at his wit's end we he was hooked on the 3 after that incredible shot when he speared the 2.
These performances are wonderful, and I am so grateful for the videos, but why do they use templates at all when there are devices that ensure no gaps?
A couple of questions for anyone in the know. Just got into 9 ball. Watched snooker most of my younger life. 1) Why do they have longer cues now as discussed in this video (Balance power?) 2) Why the glove? I can see it would help the cue slide better. But if it is an advantage how come snooker players don't use one. I can see why they wouldn't want the same benefit?? Thanks Martin
1: some players just like the extra length, you can hit most shots on the table without disrupting your pre shot routine. 2: gloves don't just slide the cue through your hands better, but also provides consistency in any room condition. If you ever played in a humid room without a glove, you will know what I mean. If the slide through your fingers is always the same, then that's one less thing to worry about. 2.5: about the snooker players, snooker players are much more against technological changes. I also find snooker players are way more elitist and look down on players with gloves. people seem to be warming up to the idea of them though but generally it's the older players that hate on gloves.
1) If you have longer cues or the extension mounted you save some time on the shot clock and it does not take you out of the rythm. 2) As pointed out by @Auõ you have less friction and more consistency, but also the glove cleans the que automatically and if you get sweaty palms really easily when you are nervous, it minimises the chance of leaving a handprint on the cloth.
So lets use the magic rack to get a good rack every time, until we get into big money rounds.... also damn Oi shot well. Goodluck against SvB I hope Shane snags this tourney.
35.50.. with such a good score advantage, personally I would have tried to hit the 1 onto the 5 and used it to nudge the 1 in off of it. So easy once you figure out the angles..
What a joke, racking the whole tournament with the template and then in the end with a triangle. Pure nonsense, especially since it is just pure luck how the ref racks it
Wow, talk about fighting back! Oi was so unlucky. Its really stupid and subjective but i feel like Sanchez had a look on his face like he thinks he just was the better player. But he wasnt. He got super lucky at the beginning and Oi was super unlucky. Congrats to Sanchez but i was really hoping to see a comeback from Oi and he wasnt far away from it!
They're so busy with the slow motions that you miss several shots because of that. What's the point of all this slow-mo stuff? Instead let us see the players shoot. Beyond ridiculous.
You simply can't help feeling for Oi... I don't think he missed a shot in the game but those bad rolls... Though he lost, he won much respect!
I really enjoy jayson's commentary.
It's nice having Karl and Jay in the box.
Yeah it's fun to listen to them 👍

So dissapointed for Naoyuki, my new favourite pool player 😀

Fantastic duel.
Man man , oi is too much … you can’t keep with him , but I respect him cos he stays professional on the table 💪🏾

OI makes the finals allot but seems to fall short after that. Its not a bad thing but always hoping for him to do better.
When was this actually played?
Respect for oi, you are very good but not lucky for this battle. Keep spiriit for next competition

Oi earns so much respect in this match. It can be heartbreaking that there can be only one winner in a match like this.

what size are these tables please?

White ball didn’t hit the yellow ball.
Object ball to hit was the 1, he missed
