Hey Logan 👋 We totally missed the PNW meet again, it would have been awesome to meet you as well. Glad to see your channel is growing as well you are killing it with the shorts 💪🔥
I've been away too long! I have forgotten how much fun it is to film videos. Thanks for your continuous support. Congrats by the way on your channel! I see you are at over 14k subs that's amazing 👏 What's have you found has been helpful in growing your channel ? I know someone reading this could benefit from it.
I like how you can keep the rear seats in- something I need to do for transporting parents or grandbaby. Do you build these for the later models (mine is a 2011)? not sure how much space there is under in back but possibly an underbed plastic drawer with roller would work for storage.
Unfortunately we don't build them anymore. We do like being able to use our rear seats the only down side is at times can take away room when the seats are being used.
I didn't catch wHat size the plywood is. Do you think 3/8 inch would work? I know it is a little less then 1/2 inch but it would still give a fair amount of suppirt. I am completely onboard with having an almost stock Element and having a lot of pride in making it shine. Great Job Wilson
We based the platform off of a fellow youtuber Danny's DIY garage. Instead of the base he did we customized it a little to use the seats. Here's a link to his channel hope this helps 👍 ruclips.net/video/ju-3SrjEp-0/видео.html
I wonder how just sleeping on the seats would be... When I bought my Element, the seats were out, and I just stored them downstairs. Most times, I just need the empty space to stuff...
Great question! It's from Amazon it slides on the plastic part where the hook that connects the back doors. I thought I had a link to it but couldn't find it handy. It cost about $20 dollars and I only put up when I am traveling. I will post a quick video showing the install and the link 🫡
So, why wouldn't you put the seats up on the side and just sleep straight on the mattress on the floor of the element? Is that a bit bumpy or? I have done this once. There was definitely more headroom.
The way the element is the back side of the car is higher so towards the front it dips lower. You can sleep on the floor but using the seats helps keep it leveled. It's not for everyone but it works for me.
We cut the height of the mattress, I found a place near by that makes RV mattress and they had a machine that cuts it clean. It was 6inches tall and went down to about 3.5 instead.
Hi there! I love all your videos, thank you! I sent you a msg on IG to see if you might have a cut list for this version of yr trifold platform. Lmk, thx!
I was hoping to see you at the PNW meet. You were one of the first Element RUclipsrs I’ve ever watched.

I love to see ppl camping out of all different vehicles 😊
Us too! We would love to do more with out car however we like the minimal look.
This makes camping overnight seem so much more easier and do-able knowing how comfortable you can sleep outdoors ! Great vid Wilson 👏👏
Thank you! Always makes us happy to hear from you Carla ❤️

Thanks dude! Took some time off now I'm back 🙌
Like your setup. I am doing something similar but with a blow up mattress.
Hi would you be kind to share the measurements for the platform thanks
Can you do a video for people who are shopping for an Element? Maybe give us advice on certain things or problems to look for and avoid. Thank you!
Yes I will make one be sure to look out for it. I actually have a list I always share lol

good simple set up. good stuff
Thank you! It's super basic, but it works for us.
Great Videos. Would you happen to have the plans for the platform available? Thanks

What video or topic would you like to see next ? 🤔
I wonder how just sleeping on the seats would be... When I bought my Element, the seats were out, and I just stored them downstairs. Most times, I just need the empty space to stuff...
I've tried it once and I woke up with terrible back pain, you can sleep on the seats but it's not comfortable.
Tell me about that privacy curtain you have. How did you set it up? What products ? Etc

@@ReadySetElement that would be awesome to see a video of that. Thank you!

Hello! Do you happen to have the dimensions for the plywood by chance?
I like it, but for my element the lag's look 12 on to short, the floor drops 12 in front of back seats
This is true towards the front the floor steeps down so what we did is adjust the height of the legs of the platform.
Count how many times I said Honda Element and platform 😅
Did you cut the mattress width or notch it out at all or just the height of it?
We cut the height of the mattress, I found a place near by that makes RV mattress and they had a machine that cuts it clean. It was 6inches tall and went down to about 3.5 instead.
Where and who built the platform?
Built it myself with the help of my pops.
What about the seat platform how to make
Can I purchase the plateform from you?
I'm not actually selling them but I can sell you this one we don't use it as much as we would like to.
@@ReadySetElement yes please need one asap for camping next month
