absolutely brilliant presentation. My father (90 yr old and ill) developed AKI and this has helped me understand the realistic prognosis for him. He's not in End stage renal failure which is regrettable but understanding the mechanism and S&S's etc has really helped when discussing with his doctors what is the most appropriate treatment plan. many thanks x

Thank you! My 80 year old dad is in the hospital now with kidney failure and is on dialysis. Sadly the doctors to offer any other treatment to improve kidney function and other side effects. Just always "wait and see" after dialysis, more blood draws and more medications.
