  • Wendy London, PhD, is Associate Professor, Harvard Medical School and Director of Biostatistics, Boston Children’s Hospital. She has performed statistical methodological research in the design of clinical trials. She developed new methods for stratified Phase II designs, now widely used in multi-center trials for small, heterogeneous cohorts.
Clement Ma, PhD is Assistant Professor, University of Toronto Independent Scientist, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). His research focuses on developing and implementing innovative statistical methods to improve the accuracy and efficiency of clinical trials. Previously in pediatric oncology, he developed the novel Bayesian adaptive TARGETed-agent Continual Reassessment Method (TARGET-CRM) to prioritize the enrollment of children with specific rare tumour mutations who were more likely to benefit from the molecularly-targeted therapy.
Frontiers in Biostatistics is a monthly seminar series featuring guest #biostatistics experts, hosted by the Department of #DataScience at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.
