- In this video I go over the hidden lore behind Alex’s Caves, the lore behind every single cave of the existing 5. How the magnetic machines were made, how the toxic caves became the underground wasteland, the reign of the Luxtructosaurus, the rise of the Oracle deity in the Forlorn Hollows and the Underwater war between the deep ones and humans. Everything is in this video in a quick summary! Not everything should be taken literally though, some parts are theorized!

Ok... This is VERY Interesting. Taking some lore from the Cave Compendium, Concept Art, and just general knowledge, (and also what Alex said himself) is the PERFECT way to make something like this. I hope to see more of these. This is also the best lore I've seen for Alex's Caves. Awesome.

also I would love to see the deep ones give you some tablet (when you have the highest possible reputation( or you can raid a special structure if you have the lowest possible to get it (also the special deep one weapons)) you need to decrypt that leads to a quest to find THE lab with the tritan in it with a irradiated modified hero guarding it that you need to defeat to get the tritan and maybe something dropped by the hero like he's claws as a weapon (also secret feature if you don't use the conch(the conch bc it makes deep ones able to see he's corrupted) during the fight bc if they see the claw they'll turn against you bc they don't know he was corrupted) and also the tritan should have an interior you can be in. here goes my big slab of ideas for the abyssal chasm
here goes the smaller idea slab for the forlorn hollows. they should add some way to fight the oracle in some sort of special boss fight that drops, what should it drop. oh got an idea, an qll seeing eye that allows you to go in some sort of spectator mod but just for seeing (ur body stays s where it is just ur vision can move) also a marking function. AND yes the boss fight would be very hard but doable for anyone

As cool as the "thing happened but is now either forgotten or no longer exists" trope is, I hope a lot of this stuff gets added as actual content in Alex's Caves someday.
The Triton submarine being some sort of suuuuuuuuper lategame craft that requires a ton of exploration would be rad. The Refiner and Oracle would be incredible bosses too.
I think if the Triton were to be added, it'd either be a boss (since the Abyssal Chasm doesn't have one) or something similar to Tremorzilla (where you need really rare/hard to get resources to make it).
The Triton as a simmilar vehicle to the Subnautica Cyclops would be cool, and the refiner is already in the game as a structure

I do have some thought about some of the lore parts.
1: I had an idea that the caveman were the ones who sealed the Lux but costed the caveman's lives.
2.I thought of the idea that Deep one hero sacrificed himself to destroy the Triton in order to save the other Deep ones.
Other than those two you did a good job.
I really like the oracle; it almost looks like a cocoon that holds its true form.
Wonder if will see the basher or Refiner, If the refiner did become a mob, it could be a boss.
Also, it be funny if some of the surviving divers told stories about their encounters with the Deep ones and that inspired Love craft's idea for his Deep ones.
Refiner wont become a mob iirc.The concept art are just meant for the lore, they didnt want to add it due to the size of it.And prob few other reason
this is literally what happened, its literally stated that the reason for the deep ones winning the war was the sacrifice made by deep one hero and that the cavemen are gone because of lux
Yeah idk if it was Alex or noon that said it, but the deep one hero either died fighting triton, or disappeared, also the lux bit was just my theory of it 🙏

My theory is that one of the altatitan which was born with the spike pattern was different from all of them so he wasn’t able to join a herd and fueled by rage it died from fall damage on purpose and made a deal with the oracle after that its soul soul went into the volcano waiting for 65,000,000 years to unleash his tyrannical fury at everyone and everything the rejected his appearance

I think the whales bones we saw in the abyssal chasm are related to the chacalot from alex's mobs, it's a very cool theory nlg 😅
The skeleton is a blue whales though it would be cool if they added that whale to Alex’s mobs to link both mods.

I think that0 the ancient builder in the abyssal chasm are the same that stumbuled upon the magnetic cave since they use reçoursse from there.
They all the same for Magnetic, Toxic, and Abyssal.

My idea for oracle is. You the player was actually the one who can contain pure darkness. You could choose embrace it or fight it. If you embrace it. You will get the power of darkness and underzealot don't attack you. Fight it you must go to location that have lights and attack it. Oracle is invincible on darkness

Ok, my theories are:
1: The Atlatitans aren't native of the biome that came to be the Primordial Caves, so one day, a bunch of Atlatitans migrated to the soon-to-be caves for some reason. Amongst all the Atlatitans, one of them was angry at the other dinosaurs for some reason and started killing all of them, but a lot of dinosaurs pushed him into the volcano and killed him. However, he emerged from the Volcano as the Luxtructosaurus and made all the dinosaurs go extinct, and it came back to the volcano. The remnants of the dinosaurs got stuck on amber and then, several years later, a bunch of cavemen found those ambers and built the amber monoliths, resurecting the dinosaurs. They also summoned the Luxtructosaurus and killed it again, somehow.
2: The explosions that created the Toxic Caves didn't happened by accident. What happened is that someone somehow killed the Luxtructosaurus, the Hullbreaker, stole an egg from a Tremorsaurus and summoned the Tremorzilla. The humans at the Toxic Caves thought it was a threat, so they tried carpet bombing him with nuclear bombs, which in fact killed the Tremorzilla, but it also turned the cave into a toxic wasteland.
3: Actually, I think that the Deep One Hero died in the war.
4: The Oracle didn't corrupted all the mobs in the Forlorn Hollows. Instead, he just existed, and then a group of semi-humanoid moles saw it and decided to worship it as a God. Then, these moles, which are now known as Underzealots, started terraforming the cave to please the Oracle, which caused the other animals to adapt to this new environment, becoming what they are today.
And that's it
I think the Brainiac is another experimental mob, like the Nucleeper - and that it is a Frankenstein-esque monstrosity that was manufactured in order to see the outer-limits of mutant abilities (hence the giant brain, fully-functional jaw for a hand, and the long tongue). They could've even served as workhorses aswell, assisting in construction and engineering, given their nearly-unmatched strength, in addition to the fact that they always seem to wear overalls.
Would’ve been cool if there was a character called Dr. Brainiac, also this whole video is my theory of it

Really do hope that we get some new mobs along with the whole Candy Cavity biome, since some of these would be incredibly cool ngl ( The Deep One Hero, Oracle and the Refiner would be AMAZING to see in-game )

I personally wished every cave had a boss (except toxic it’s fine) like for example the refiner would be great for the magnetic caves, the oracle for the forlorn hallows, and the hero for the abyssal chasm.

In 4:40 Timestamp, does this means that the Deep ones build the ocean monuments? my mind is blown.
In the Alex's Caves lore, yes, a common ancestor to all of the Deep One Variants created the Ocean Monument.
In the base lore, it was just the humans, currently, the Drowned.
I should’ve also mentioned that the drowneds with diving gear were one of the humans that drowned during the war
And this gets confusing with the Abyssal Monument in Minecraft Dungeons, what with the Villager statues.
Was it built by the Deep Ones? If so, why are there Villager statues? Were they Allies in some respect? Or did the Villagers (with the help of the Deep Ones) make it? That would make the Villager statues make sense.
TLDR; The culmination of the Hidden Depths dlc for Minecraft Dungeons messes this up. Tbh Minecraft Dungeons also screwed over everything about the Ancient Builder theory as it continuously shows that Villager/Illagers can make such structures.

@@DerCent161 oh that was prior to the preview we got...since before that, they revealed several eggs for the next update and there were more eggs than the previously revealed mobs for the cavity...then the preview came out and showed us those missing mobs

Nothing was scrapped. All of them were designed with the intention of never being added!
We think they currently have no plans to add them, but that could change in the future. Especially with mobs like the Deep One Hero, and some of the Dinosaurs.
Alex confirmed that updates to the already existing caves will happen, so it's a possibility.
Those are called "Lore Mobs" by Alex himself. They're basically creatures and things that are important to the lore but will never make it into the game.
Like the Triton, Deep One Hero, Magnetic Hauler, Magnetic Refiner, etc...
@@thevenomspino This is currently only applied to any idea that alex mentioned im the server. Lore art creature are its own thing iirc and havent been proved to gonna be added as an actual feature.
I think they were concepts of mobs they would’ve added, like I think the little lizard was a scrapped or maybe delayed mob for 1.1
if the Magnetron Refiner is massive and its head is now a structure, that still holds potential for the Basher to come in a future update

The devs didn’t make the model, it’s fan made, but it gives you a better view of what it could’ve looked like in game

I think we already have an idea of its lore. The special witch miniboss is theoriezed to use that golden cauldron to make the biome like the player does at the very end of the trailer.

Interesting, but one time ago when I was looking the discord Noon said that the Deep One Hero was death mmm, but Do you think that all this lore (artefacts and mobs) can appear on future releases? I don't think that Alex and Noon have made all that behind if they will not use it.

An addon would be great since both the Hero and big magnetrons are only there for lore, not to be bosses in the future.
I think alex took some inspirations from plague of madness cuz the alatitans have a similar head to the argents from the episode and said infected argent of the episode died in a lava pit like the alatitan rising from a volcano if it is true that he took inspiration i hope he makes a toxic varient that looks like the zombie argent

Yea the link to their discord is in the description, and the concepts were found after a bit of searching all over the server, I went all the way back to October 2022

Tremorzilla is an artificial being created by the player using a Nuclear Bomb into a genetically modified Tremorsaurus Egg.
The Deep One Hero was the last one of it's species, and he died fighting the Triton (and destroying it). Thus, he became the symbol for the current Deep One Society
I have no idea what's the Forsaken's purpose, but it's probably in it's Compedium Entry. But maybe it's just Protection, to protect the Underzealots from predators or something like that...
We currently have little to no information on the Oracle, only that one concept art as far as i'm aware.
Those questions of "What if" can't really be answered with precision, but it's obvious that Luxtructosaurus would die after some time (maybe of natural aging or attacked by other Atlatitan), thus the current events would also happen.

The Candy Creatures are 100% Candy, yes.

The process of player from gathering tremorzilla egg until the time they hatch the egg is the lore for tremorzilla.Its YOUR experiment basically.
Deep one will never invade land.The point of abyssal chasm story is that Human are bad guys, deep one fight in a purpose of defense cause thats their homeland.They attack when threatened which explain their behaviour of attacking player when they keep following them in neutral or stalking reputation.
For Lux, i think answer is simple.Underground would be destroyed more.Cause lux itself is just pure indead being.So all they do is just rampage

The thing is, I wouldn’t want to theorize about the tremorzilla, since it doesn’t spawn naturally, you have to create it yourself. I only tell more about the stuff that’s given to you the moment you spawn, so tremorzilla isn’t really connected to any lore, it’s your story, not the worlds

Sniffers should spawn naturally in Primordial caves. Even though theres evidence that their from the Nether...
Alex thought of it, but letting them spawn there completely ruins the point of archeology and having to look for them in the sand
