I'm still crying about this. I was in the Marines at Camp Lejeune, when Pee-Wee's Playhouse came out (I'm an old man). Some corporal and I commandeered the TV room every Saturday morning, when the show was on - never missed it. Then, the movies were all great. In his professional life, he brought good, wholesome, family entertainment to people. I wouldn't have any problem letting kids watch any of his programs. He was a very funny man, and I am so saddened by this. RIP, Pee-Wee! We will miss you. TEQUILLA!

I met him in person at a con 5 years ago and ive been crying on and off randomly when I watch these type of clips. because he truy was a gentle soul under the pee wee persona. im glad I got a chance to tell him we loved him and his work. I really meant it and he could tell. he was nice and humble. signed my figure and gave me a free photo op.
I watched his show every day after school, as a preschooler in the late 80’s. My favorite part of his show was when he got ready to leave and he got on his bike to fly away home until another episode of Pee-Wees Playhouse. Thanks Pee Wee, for making my childhood awesome.❤

I remember watching Pee Wee's Playhouse and the Big Adventure as a child. I looked forward to seeing him on Saturday mornings. I also remember his bit part in Matilda, he was so funny! Despite the mistakes he made , he soared above them to do what he wanted to do to make people laugh. RIP Paul, you were always part of my childhood.
Exactly, he's one of those people who, despite making bad actions the 90s and early 2000s, had redeemed himself and became a better person and learned from his mistakes while continuing to entertain people and that's a big accomplishment.
I'm 46 and I remember when I was just a kid and Pee Wee's Big Adventure came out. Everyone in my class just imitated the he'll out of that movie. I still use the "I meant to do that" line to this day. Thanks for all of the entertainment through the years Paul and RIP.

This one hurts me a ton just like the passing of the artist kim jun gi few months back. I grew up watching pee wees playhourse in the mid 90's on discovery kids by finding it by accident being bored one morning flipping through channels on my parents tv. He helped me discovered the fun world of improv without knowing what improv really was at the time in the early 2000s. I tuned in all the time in all the re-runs. Screaming whenever the secret word was said throughout each episode real loud as loud as I could. I just wished I could've witnessed the show live someday over on the west southern coast someday just to say I saw it with joy. Thank you Pee Wee for helping me discover the word of improv acting as a teen. you helped me through the low ends of my life from your show and movies. You will be severely missed. And yet human, too...I'll never, EVER forget one of my greatest life-moments ever at a pizza restaurant when I walked out the back door, saw it dumping rain, put on my best PeeWee yell and screamed "AAAAGH!!! It's NOT sup-posed to DO THIS!!!" Everybody from management to employee to customer inside heard it and the laughter was pandemic. People were fighting to breathe! I wondered where ya went, PeeWee...I missed you. I'm so, so very sorry. Rest in Peace, my mentor, my inspiration, my laughter...my Pal.

Pee-Wee Herman was like Mr. Bean, but as a fully dialogue filled character who wouldn’t just make noises. I didn’t grow up with him, but I did see two of his movies: the Big Adventure and Holiday one. In the holiday film, he didn’t even look old at all and was in his 60s by 2016. All I can say is that Pee-Wee was a funny character who spoke wholesomely and funny while also delivering funny actions. May Paul Reubens Rest In Peace

I remember watching Pee Wee's Playhouse and the Big Adventure as a child. I looked forward to seeing him on Saturday mornings. I also remember his bit part in Matilda, he was so funny! Despite the mistakes he made , he soared above them to do what he wanted to do to make people laugh. RIP Paul, you were always part of my childhood.
Exactly, he's one of those people who, despite making bad actions the 90s and early 2000s, had redeemed himself and became a better person and learned from his mistakes while continuing to entertain people and that's a big accomplishment.

I'm 46 and I remember when I was just a kid and Pee Wee's Big Adventure came out. Everyone in my class just imitated the he'll out of that movie. I still use the "I meant to do that" line to this day. Thanks for all of the entertainment through the years Paul and RIP.

I hope he made it to heaven too but the sad truth is most people are going to hell. the only way to go to heaven is by Jesus Christ he paid the price By dying on the cross for people sins and people need to believe in him. This one hurts me a ton just like the passing of the artist kim jun gi few months back. I grew up watching pee wees playhourse in the mid 90's on discovery kids by finding it by accident being bored one morning flipping through channels on my parents tv. He helped me discovered the fun world of improv without knowing what improv really was at the time in the early 2000s. I tuned in all the time in all the re-runs. Screaming whenever the secret word was said throughout each episode real loud as loud as I could. I just wished I could've witnessed the show live someday over on the west southern coast someday just to say I saw it with joy. Thank you Pee Wee for helping me discover the word of improv acting as a teen. you helped me through the low ends of my life from your show and movies. You will be severely missed. Now as a 33 year old I've been doing improv for the past 5 years in my local theater thanks to the bravey you showed me of how fun acting can really be and helped me make friends along the way. from a shy boy to proud acting fan at the improv stage. I am heartbroken, stunned. Devastated I cried all day yesterday...I'm 56 and I just don't care. I LOVED PeeWee, he was superhuman! And yet human, too...I'll never, EVER forget one of my greatest life-moments ever at a pizza restaurant when I walked out the back door, saw it dumping rain, put on my best PeeWee yell and screamed "AAAAGH!!! It's NOT sup-posed to DO THIS!!!" Everybody from management to employee to customer inside heard it and the laughter was pandemic. People were fighting to breathe! I wondered where ya went, PeeWee...I missed you. I'm so, so very sorry. Rest in Peace, my mentor, my inspiration, my laughter...my Pal.

Pee-Wee Herman was like Mr. Bean, but as a fully dialogue filled character who wouldn’t just make noises. I didn’t grow up with him, but I did see two of his movies: the Big Adventure and Holiday one. In the holiday film, he didn’t even look old at all and was in his 60s by 2016. All I can say is that Pee-Wee was a funny character who spoke wholesomely and funny while also delivering funny actions. May Paul Reubens Rest In Peace

You're not kidding. I've seen more people cry over Paul's passing than 99% of all other talent out there. My cousins, my friends...never saw tears from 'em when others passed on, but PeeWee...the floodgates opened wide. He was more than so many other things people ascribed to him...he was a Pal.

I remembered him as a guest on the tv series Face Off when I was little. He and Ve Neil (one of the judges) worked together on some films and had great chemistry. RIP Pee-wee Herman/Paul Reubens.
