Todd is really one of a kind. For any other armwrestler, your opponent gets high in the hand at center table and has the leverage to stop your attack. Todd can get in those dicey situations and just go sideways out of nowhere. He's like an armwrestling loophole.

The reason Todd can hit to the side like that is because he has small levers. A long lever would work against you in this style of pulling putting more torque on your arm. Long levers are better for outside or high pulling where you can use that height as an advantage.

Thanks so much for this upload. Beside the two great athletes the Referee has my big big respect. Great and very clear work from him. I also really like the idea of giving the athletes the possibility to challenge the decision. Really nice Setup 💪💪💪

Todd not challenging the foul was Alpha behaviour. Not a milligram of Bud Light Behaviour to be found here.
He knows that he had a tired opponent and was going to take it from there.

Todd was sore in round 5. The beast had one chance. But Todd just Todd'd it.

Great match, I'm not too familiar with Maateiwarangi but it seems like his elbow drops of the back of the pad a few times in this match and they didn't call it all of the time. I saw one other match where it was challenged but the commentators were claiming he has "big elbows". Is this something he does a lot with his elbow "very close" to being off the pad?

I'm not sure who surprises me more these days, Todd or John. Both legends in their own rights. Let me tell you though, Todd has been facing otherworldly competition in a lot of his recent matches and blasting through them. Not to take anything away from John. John has also been pulling at the highest level. Crazy considering their ages, much respect.

What i have seen from this match is that todd,is good pound for pound but his arms are so short that he finds it extremely difficult to pin morris. Most of his match end up like this its like he pull down 90% of it but that 10% he cant do it easily due to short arms

That was way more entertaining than I thought it would be. Great job from Maateiwarangi. Really cool to see Todd Hutchings in these events.
The commentator who isn't Jake Ward, sounds extremely familiar and I'm unsure who they sound like. Maybe it's just that he partially sounds like Alex from "I did a thing"... not sure.
