- Fred and Ginger were born with a congenital issue that made it difficult to walk. So we named them after dancers, and did what all fosters do - help cats find their footing!

I am amazed how quickly they regained their strength in their hind legs ❤️ ! You guys are so intuitive with your home therapies/ remedies, I'm signing up as a donor so you can keep helping the cats of NYC 😻
Dooood! Finish the story pls. What happened to Fred & Ginger?
Do tell. We await news....
😺😸😹😻😼😽🙀😿😾
is there a way to give a one-time amount? That is how I normally give because I'm not able to commit to being a monthly supporter at the moment.
@@rethinkcps2116 they were adopted by the little girl (and family) in the video.
@@hoppas77 Hi, Hoppas 77. Here is the link to the page where you can select one-time donation: www.flatbushcats.org/donate.
I just had knee surgery this morning. It makes me smile seeing the guys doing their physical therapy like I'll be doing in a few day. Thanks yet again for going the extra mile for the little ones!
Lots of luck with your therapy
@@edn2674 Thank you.
@@bgeery As I am incapacitated on the sofa my crew have been making biscuits on me all morning 🙃
I hear it’s scientifically proven that people who watch cat videos heal 10x faster than average. True story. 😉 🐾 Try Takis Shelter and Walter Santi channels too if you need some recommendations 😊 Good luck with your recovery.
Best of luck with physical therapy and I hope you make a full recovery!
Just brilliant. I signed on as a monthly donor. You guys are a top-notch rescue group. No doubt where that money goes. The ASPCA has great marketing skills but Flatbush Cats does the work. (Sheila from Hard Hat Cats)
Exactly… these guys are spectacular….
I started watching these videos in 2020 during Covid, and I would cry about orphan kittens and my powerlessness to help them. Now, a little more than a year later, I watch these videos with a whole different feeling as my second foster kitten runs around on my lap. Thank you for producing the content that has motivated me to try to make a difference for them, but also a difference for me.
WOW! That’s awesome! Thank you for being a safe space for the babies.
Me as well, more with adult cats though...
God bless you!!
If there's anything positive to say about covid 19 is that Fip is now curable. Maybe too expensive for many cat owners but hopefully the price will drop 😊
Flatbush Cats has the best happy endings. Just like a Fred And Ginger movie.
What fun narration on this one! When my 21 year old cat died, our other elderly (but less elderly) cat cried and cried for him, so we got him two rescue kittens, a brother and sister. Though he's always been a very grumpy cat, he was completely smitten with one of his new kittens. They'd chase each other in slow motion, which was just his speed, though not hers. He's slowing down even more now, so no more games of chase, but now he cleans her and cuddles with her, things he'd never done with any cat before. It's pretty adorable.
How lovely!
I love how you describe their meows as “room service bells”. 💕😻
😂😂😂
I started watching your channel over a year ago. It ignited my passion for the TNR side of rescue. I went and signed up for TNR class because of you. Since then I have TNR'd a whole colony, found homes for many feral kittens, and helped educate people on spaying/neutering. All together I have helped 15 cats! I hope you know I give you credit for this as well, these videos really inspire me!
You’re a hero too! Thank you for doing TNR, it doesn’t get the attention it needs. ❤️
God bless you!
Fantastic! ❤🐈🐈⬛❤🐈⬛🐈❤
Well done brother!
It makes me sad to hear they often get euthanized. I first saw swimmers syndrome from Hannah Shaw's channel the kitten lady. I am glad you were able to treat these cuties. Heidi
I saw that on Kitten Lady too 😻 "Pitbulls and Paroles" also had 2 puppies on that were born with this. They built a small wooden shoot that encouraged them to walk upright and teased them with wet dog food to move forward. They eventually started to walk correctly and were adopted!!!
🐶🐾🐶
I was going to say that she has had swimmer kittens. It’s crazy that they get put down when it’s something that’s easily fixable without surgical intervention.
@@debbiethemadbee yes, it's really sad. I did not know they euthanized them sometimes. It's terrible. Heidi
Thank you for saving those beautiful kittens. You guys rock!
Respect to solo kittens. I would never forget my first ever foster of a kitten.
That night i lost 3 gallon of cooking oil, 5 liters of unused cat litter, a fresh bowl of spaghetti but obtained a visit by a friendly but annoyed neighbor living downstairs due to midnight noisy kitten flying issues.
I hope they get adopted together
Boris
He said that’s the only way he would let them be adopted; together.
I'm in physical therapy right now and I don't think I'll be quite as agile as Fred and Ginger when I'm done, but it sure made me happy to see some special needs kittens given a second chance. ♥️ I've also got a tremendous case of kitten fever and as soon as I can get around a bit better I'm already planning on fostering through my local humane society.
best of luck !
Man, I will just stop in my tracks and take the time to watch these videos no matter what I’m doing. Lol. I just loooooove seeing these cool cats and kittens. Uncle Garfield!!
I first saw kitten swimmer syndrome covered by one of Kitten Lady's videos. Without coverage by her and you, and probably by folks like Chris from Cole and Marmalade, and Jackson Galaxy, we wouldn't have much information. Thanks, Flatbush Cats and other channels. Those of us who care about cats really need to know things like this in case we encounter kittens and cats who need help who have things like this. The foster carers and cat lovers and veterinarians on RUclips really do us and each other a good service and education, right along with the cuteness. There are plenty of not so cute and fun things that need our attention, but those are part of the care of having cats. Thanks, guys.
Oops, I left out Kitten Academy, Senior Cat Wellness, and there are many kitten fosters, so I didn't mention them by name. But these folks really are good sources. It's so good to have these available when we need questions answered, and just to see good stuff going on. Or, yes, sometimes difficult stuff too, but that needs to be covered so we know how to handle it and what to look for.
Aww, Fred's little personal goal of becoming the world's single dustiest kitten!
😸
These babies are so lucky to be loved and cared by you guys!
Fred and Ginger are definitely lucky kittens. So glad they were rescued and rehabilitated.
Thanks to Uncle Garfield for teaching them boundaries and how to be a cat.
They'll get forever homes in no time.
They're beautiful kittens! 😻❤️
Ginger's meow is utterly adorable (I really didn't expect the clip of them grownup, that was a lovely surprise)
anytime there's a new Flatbush Cats video upload, I stop whatever I'm doing to watch
Adorable babies. Thank you for all the work you do to save cats 🧡. Btw, love the way you narrate 😊
Yes, the narration is always very clear and understandable - good for those of us who don't have English as their first language.
Perfect names! l love it! They are cute cute cute cute cute! Amazing how one week cured what would have been a serious disability. Thank you for showing this, if I ever come across this, I will know what to do.
I’m just throwing out this comment for the algorithm. I want everyone to know about this channel and your organization. Thank you for all the work you do! Your videos always make me smile ❤️
I'll reply for the algorithm as the ads play. I can't afford to donate so this is how I contribute.
Good idea, I'll reply too because this is one of my favorite channels and they deserve it!
same here!
Message to my fellow Brooklynite…I’m willing and equipped to foster any babies that were either separated from mommy or is orphaned.
Fred and Ginger are adorable. As soon as I am able I will help again... I love you for the work you do and I thank you for your compassionate heart.
Those sweet little babies. :( I know that you'll find them awesome homes and they'll have the greatest life pawsible!
Hahaha nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!!
I would be a foster fail with these two cuties 🥰
Yes, they must have PT so they can bunny kick! Bunny kicks are very important! ;) Flatbush Cats does so much great work. Thank you so much to all the volunteers who put in so much time, effort, energy, and love. Ginger was SO ADORABLE tucked into her blanket on your lap! Seeing them try to eat each other's heads was pretty adorable, too.
Thank you for helping the kitties.
thank you very much for the Flatbush fix. You made my day.
Could this be your best video yet?! A bona fide work of art 👌
Mind you, it probably should have come with a warning as its principal protagonists are dangerously and overwhelmingly ADORABLE 💞💕💖💖
The things I learn on this channel… I feel like I am prepared for some cat-tastrophy.
I see what you did there....😄
This is why I chose to donate monthly to you and Flatbush Kitties.
Thank you. I follow you closely. As a former nonprofit CEO I smiled to see your books. Best of luck to you with your fundraising.
Idk, kittens that need extra help just seem extra easy to love.
I cry every time
I'm so happy for Fred and Ginger 😍💙 . I'm glad they ended up with just the right people . They sure are cute . If you wouldn't have found them , wow . I'm just glad that their future is promising . That they'll live like kittens are supposed to . That they'll become 🐈 like they're supposed to be . I'm so glad , I pretty much can't find the words . I'm left speechless . They're 2 of the lucky ones .
Oh my goodness these 2 babies are so freaking precious. So happy that they were able to recover.
Good to see that you nurtured these kittens and found them a forever home.
Take care Fred and Ginger.
Instantly clicked, i love your vids man, keep up the good work, and I hope you get what you want in life
Ditto!
ditto
Thank you for rescuing and rehabilitating these wonderful fur babies.
You guys are great!
The song and Fred and Ginger are right on!! 😄
Thank you for spreading more awareness about adopting kittens in pairs as well! Cats aren't single animals and the myth of the "mean, unpredictable, evil cat" half stems from people adopting a single kitten too early, so it ends up not learning that bites hurt and use humans as their personal chewing toy.
I strongly recommend adopting kittens in pairs, we have brothers and it tires me out just watching them.
God I love this channel and org!
I love your work in Brooklyn. Rescuers everywhere can use your videos at tutorials to help them address the same problems, like swimmer syndrome, unsocialized "spicy" kittens, cats with common ailments and so on. Great RUclips channel!
Thank you for doing the good work. Also great inspiring videos. You all are class all the way.
Look at those little toygers go! Uncle Garfield is the best!
😻 Next time im in Brooklyn, I would love to come help out. You are such angel for doing the things you do!
Literally any and every upload from you is enough to make my day better and it has also showed me got my cats are super weird
What wonderful editing! And it was such a joy to see the absolute trust the kittens had in you. Lucky nuggets indeed!
Rooting for Fred and Dustpan against the tyranny of Broom.
Even though I understand the issues with time and personel, it hurts to know that a condition that could be treated with a few weeks of care is still a death sentence for so many kittens. Thank you for all you do.
Every one of your videos makes me cry. What you do is so beautiful
The little girl honestly gave me way more cuteness overload!❤🎉😊
Ginger Rodgers did everything Fred Astaire did, only backwards and in high heels. Love that these two precious purr babies are getting the much needed help that they deserve. So many never get that, sadly.
I'm glad that they are adopted together….
They are so cute!
That 7 mins felt like 2 and a half. You guys are something special.
Their coats are amazing. Almost artistically so.
So glad bunny kicks are helped too.
So much vital information packed into this adorable video. Flatbush Cats is Brooklyn's answer to "Why should I care?"
Such a joy to watch! Thanks for bringing love and kindness into this harsh world.
The dustpan alliance is very important!
Might be the best part of the video. That section made me laugh out loud.😃
I'm so proud to support this organization. How do I increase my monthly donation?
I marvel at one kind of hero, and it's your kind.
Thanks you for this amazing work you do.
The editing work on these videos is really next-level. I always watch 🥰
This video is beyond adorable! Thank you so very much for all what you do; I wish every stray cat in NYC could be saved by Flatbush Cats. 🇨🇦
The esthetics of these videos…just so great.
Appreciate what you’re doing!
I just got 2 new foster kittens, Mabel and Dipper! Dipper has swimmers syndrome and I’m going to make sure he gets taken care :)
🙏❤🙏
Thank you a million times, I am a monthly supporter and sometimes I think it's the best money I'll ever spend. I know for sure it's *some* of the best!
This video had me in tears, happy tears, grateful tears, proud tears and hopeful tears. Thank you SO SO MUCH for all the work you put into rescuing all the cats and kittens you can. Also, thank you for the time and effort you put into your videos to share the stories and spread the word. SENDING LOVE AND ABUNDANCE YOUR WAY SO THAT YOU MAY CONTINUE DOING WHAT YOU SO GRACIOUSLY DO.
another great upload from you ❤
That's really quite a return, for just an investment of one week of physical therapy: two saved lives and kittens who are now totally normal and adoptable. :).
OMG They're so cute and so sweet! I'm glad they found a great forever home, and hope I can find a pair of adorable little fuzzballs when I'm ready to rescue again!
Great combo of the kittens and Fred Astare and Ginger Rodgers! Thank you for not giving up on these precious kittens
Love this.. Brooklyn needs y'all
God bless you all for making a difference in their life... 🙏💕💖🇨🇦💞🙏
I love the story of these sweet kittens! What you do is amazing! I hope to do what you do one day! Until then I'll just pray for safety for you and these kitties!
There so adorable!!!💝🎉🎈
I always appreciate your stories 👍
Such beautiful babies
I, too, am learning about the financial structures of nonprofits.
I’d quit my job to play with kittens if I could
It doesn't seem to stop them from doing what they want to 😂😂😂😂 God bless you and the kitten's 😻😻💘💘
God bless you and the work you do!
A lovely story of love and care and beautiful sibling AND a great forever family.
Room service bell! Love it!
This is great! Thank you for helping them and all the cats you have helped!
Absolutely love your videos and the amazing work you do! ❤️
So encouraging in these days of bad news. Thanks for the work you do. And thanks for the awesome playlist! It's one of my favorites! 🎶
They developed fantastic tiger patterns as adults. 😁
Lord I love ‘em
God bless y'all and kittens into future forever...
Love your work
As soon as I heard the kittens would be named Fred and Ginger, I knew I couldn't NOT comment about how awesome that is. Beautifully and meaningfully named.
Wow. Best video, for support of cats and how and what to do. going to save it, and practice if ever asked. thank you for posting. look forward to more if you do them.
I cant stop watching these vids
Gotta' support the bunny kicks.😹❤ They are so cute.
