People think of cats as antisocial. They're just not "pack" animals, neither are a lot of humans, but we still need company sometimes. They make friends, especially if they are spayed/ neutered and have adequate food. Grandpa Mason was a battle scarred old tom who acted like a mommy cat around kittens, when most people would expect him to attack them. Their company made him happy.
When I decided to commit to cats again, I found 4 1/2 year old siblings (bro/sis) who were highly bonded. Their previous human was leaving Korea and could not take them. I am gone a lot, so knowing they have each other is a relief. They play and snuggle together 80% of their day.
I think that’s affected my cat a lot too. His name is frisbee, and he was adopted three years ago. He had two siblings: Rambler and YOLO. We adopted him, took him home, and ever since then he’s had behavioral problems, has a lot of anxiety, and hasn’t ever gotten along with my other three cats. I always wonder if we had adopted him with Rambler, what would have been different?
I can't even begin to think how you give up these little angels. Never liked cats until I got one. Then I find I'm quite good and enjoy being a cat dad. We just added Marv to our family and we are in LOVE and these videos make me so happy
My roommate was the same way! We rescued a girl and i convinced him to take her in because i had filled my apartment cat quota. I still dont think he understands how to be a good cat parent but she (and all the others) make him happy beyond belief. Congratulations on your newfound parenthood-youre not alone!
@@gateauxq4604 Don't worry, she will teach him. She will bend him to her will, slowly but surely. He will be doing things for her and arranging things for her and not even really know exactly "why" he's doing it, but he'll do it just the same. Trust me, I know.
We adopted two litter mates at 10 weeks and another single at 8 weeks within the same month. What a blessing. They integrated well with our 8 yr old rescue cat. All are males. We did the usual stuff, trip to the vet, had them fixed. They are indoor cats only. Now they are in their third year of life.
I have three cats, siblings that I rescued and brought up together. One of them, who is sleeping on my bed as I type, decided it would be fun to follow the mailman one day. The mailman thought he was a stray and picked him up and put him in his bike and took him to the local vet, who in turn called me as the kitten was chipped. He had a fun trip and even charmed the ladies at the vet.
I am so glad Charli and Wallace now have a forever home together. Bless you for all you do to help these poor cats and give them a chance at a much better life. The world needs more people like you x
@Michelle Schnieper, i'm hoping that you are adopting these kittens from a rescue or similar organization, as opposed to purchasing them from a breeder or pet shop. That said, either way your life is going to change in a way that you couldn't imagine. And it's for the better! You're going to be entertained, amused and more importantly, unconditionally loved. I loved that you showed Charlie and Wallace after they were bigger. What awesome work you do. I'm not sure how many people say thank you to you, but thank you for being such a force for animal welfare in your neighborhood for fostering and caring for stray and feral cats/kittens.

Thank God there are people out here like you. 👍 I love cats and love their personalities that they each have. All they really want is someone to love them and be with them. It's very Sad many don't find homes with really caring people. And A lot suffer human neglect. Some owners let them run free and multiple not seeing they suffer from things just as we do. And they pay the price for those who believe they care when in fact. Cause more harm. Shalom.

Our kittens are brothers and the two of them are the entire litter, the rescuers were watching them for a few days before trapping them. After our last two cats living to be 20 and 22 we've both forgotten just how much energy kittens have. I'm glad in many ways they have each other, not least of all because because of the affect they have for each other. Cats obviously do have emotions.
I also adopted 2 brothers and they are having the best time. I thought it would be more complicated but it’s actually easier because they are never alone and they play like crazy kittens even if they are 8 yrs old 😸😺
I love their names !! When we had adopted our kittens (brother and sister) the place would only let them get adopted together since they snuggled all the time, we named them Leo and Luna 💗💗

I love Flatbush Cats videos. I watch every one of them. I'm always amazed at what some people do for cats. This couple deserves some kind of kindness reward, whatever that might be.
I love your videos and I think you for all the work you do for all the strays kittens adult cats everything I love animals and I have rescued for cats that are now mine they just came up and they stayed and now I have three spaded females one neutered male and we have two adult pitbull rescues if I had more money and a bigger place I do a lot more but thank you for what you do God bless you thank you from the bottom of my heart.
