I remember when i first started playing CR and there were only a few arenas. My brother told me that Pekka was the best card in the game. So i get to the arena 4, open some chests, get a mini pekka and freak out. I didnt know much english back then
I loved Clash Royale once. It was simple, fun, and just enjoyable to play.

Brawl Stars is in a great position because whenever they release something bad, they admit when they are wrong and listen to the community on how they could fix it. They also listen to ideas from the community. Imagine if the CR devs did this. Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars revived from a dead era, and I believe Clash Royale can too.

@White742 I agree. Though honestly, 30 minutes is the kind of thing you would listen to in the background while commuting or during a workout. It's not as crazy or attention demanding as a summoning salt vod. I, for one, like the recap as even though I've played since the global launch, it's a bit nostalgic to hear about old metas, and often, that history lesson is at the core of Gratz content.
@@avena7506 I hate my playing days during 2016 because I couldn't finish ranked nor had high level decks. Why remember your noob days? Instead a great topic would be how to push from 2.4k to 3k medals with non meta decks or something. But then again most youtubers are not skilled to do such videos.

Personally I'm not against level 15 that much UNLESS they make it just a basic level like every other level. I feel when they add level 15 they need to something like troop abilities so at level 10 you would unlock one then and level 13 then at level 15 say the card was a goblin barrel one could give it are damage or an extra goblin or the card could be the hog rider and it gets a charge and you could only use one of these abilities out of the three anyways great vid ❤
Not a good idea in my opinion.
Level gaps are already a big problem in CR, and giving extra abilities would just make the gaps even more of a problem.
I'm at low ladder and nearly everyone I face is overlevelled, so that will just give them a much bigger advantage over people with lower level cards like me.
@@Gloom_Shroom_Gaming That's very true they would have to do something to counter that but I find they are gonna add level 15 and this will spice it up and these abilities will be found in chests and there will be 3 levels level 1 will be common and they will get rare to unlock and they are started and level 10 where is mid ladder average but not low ladder so it won't effect the gameplay in low ladder just those over leveled but I'm sure supercell will hopefully find away around the over leveled problem
Easy way to balance it would be that if the ability gave an advantage it has a draw back ie goblin barrel does spawn damage but has 1 less goblin or if hog has a charge it's overall attack speed takes a heavy hit things like that it would make the game balanced but give allow a lot of different gameplay styles and strategies

I hate to see the game fall off so hard. I got the game back in 2021 and actually got good at it, unlike 15-year-old me in 2016. I’m just under 6.7k trophies and I’m ranked Champion for the first time in Path of Legends. Supercell has to stop with the greedy bullshit

Its main issue is and has always been making it a pay to win. Card comes out very obviously busted, people want to buy the card and upgrades and so on. Card gets nerfed. Next card released. Rinse and repeat. Then add the other nonsense like battling people clearly way out of your skill bracket to enticing purchasing in the shop. Things like this is all modern multiplayer games is. Pushing micro transactions
Biggest issue I had with the video is the far too repetitive background clips. I swear the Magic Items announcement trailer played probably 5 times.

Ive been playing since 2015 and I have to say middle of 2016 and late 15 was the best but god how I hate this god foresaken game I loved every second at the beginning but how I hate this game now I honestly believe it is the most paid to win mobile game that isn’t a blatant cash grab I tested this on my main account I would only get level 11s 12s 13s with overleveled cards and I was level ten but even the disgusting trash that where the level 10s I played with are the mid ladder players were beyond over leved I saw level 10s with almost max or max cards then I bought the season pass and immediate got under leveled players which I then bodied 💀💀💀I haven’t seen such dogshit matchmaking since pixel gun 3d whenever I spent money my matchmaking would get rigged for me shit paying the refs was fun but I couldn’t deny the game was in a worse downhill spiral than an alcoholic step father but at around 2018 I quit after I noticed I would become a step father every time I lost a match and I do not regret since the current meta and player bases isn’t good enough for me to have an urge to return but I hope this game can make a comeback to a stable meta and decent community

I think the ''supercell killed clash royale by making it a soulless cashgrab'' arguement always fell flat on itself, really ? you think what killed clash royale wasn't multiple 2016 devs leaving, having horrible community management, and absolutely zero care of balance left in the team, supercell killed the game by just getting greedy? Sure they are greedy with level 15 and scamming their players with level 14 but the game has always been greedy. Supercell didn't kill clash royale and it never will die as long as they pull in the whales. You're just a tiny salmon compared to the whales, so they will just not care about your desires, they will feed the whales so the whales will pull in more people which will make the whales pay even more money. Its honestly genius how they put so much care and effort into this game as just a mask to a literal casino under it. What mobile game even gets so much personality as clash? I bet most people can straight up make out characters just from their sounds and design silhouttes! Its pretty sick in both a twisted and real meaning, but it doesn't matter how much people complain. They will keep playing, which is just more money.

As a casual player who never paid anything in 7 years of playing, what really frustrated me was that two of the older meta decks, Hog Cycle and Log Bait, were literally NEVER balanced. The amount of damage a goblin barrel or hog can cause from a bad cycle or any small mistake is absurd, and they never did anything about it.
Another thing I thought was very easy to implement and very useful for game balancing was reducing the elixir cost sensibility, for example adding .5 to the elixir counter so it could increase or decrease by .5, meaning a 5 % of the 10 total elixir instead of 1 elixir which is 10% of the total elixir, or increase the total elixir for example to 20 so that 1 elixir means 5% of the total elixir and not 10%.
Another easy thing they could do was to implement all the game modes for everyone, not just for clan or friends.
The biggest problem with the game though was the pay-to-win feel. I guess SuperCell just prioritized money in general, which is understandable, but it's a disgrace to the community.
low-elixir cycle stuff in general is very frustrating to play against, they should add some sort of buffer to cards, where you can't play them again until X amount of elixir was generated (or spilled over) type of thing. The whole thing with the champions not returning to the cycle until after they died only made for 3 cards to cycle back to the last. I can't wait for the downfall of cycle decks.
All games stagnate no matter what, I would say they did a good job of balancing, balancing a game with 100+ cards with endless combinations is a tough job
