(and i only uploaded it here because she makes it sound so funny, otherwise i wouldn't have since i don't condone the eating of meat. meat is murder and i'm not a murderer. this is my personal opinion and has nothing to do with ellen really. /yellowbirdflyin)

I don't agree that eating meat is murder, and I believe Ellen is no longer a vegetarian. I don't think she would have done this routine if she were still a vegetarian. She has much more integrity than that.
All that aside, big thanks to you, yellowbirdflyin, for posting this and other Ellen videos.
Most of us are here, reading these comments, because we like Ellen.
@Hotique Exactly. And I like cows and pigs (and chickens and turkey and horses etc.) just as much as any pet. I have "met" them on farms where they are pretty domesticated, too. And their only pupose in life is to be killed and eaten. That's pretty sad. Of course they don't know that, but often they don't even have a happy life. So I guess that's what we have to fight against, farms where animals are being held in poor conditions.
But as I've said, I don't care if people eat meat. I just won't.
Animals have the right to remain delicious!!!
If eating meat is murder, what do you call animals that eat other animals?
@poldi911 Well, dogs and cats are household pets. That idea disturbs many people.

thank you! my point exactly: that is the precise reason why i think vegetarianism and veganism (?!) just don't make sense!!! plus i love meat :)

I don't understand why she is talking about cooking chicken herself. Isn't she vegan?
And about the discussion going on here: I myself have decided not to eat any animals except of fish. And I don't have a problem with people eating meat. It's everyone's own decision. And I think most people say they'd never eat dog meat, or cat, or something else. So what's wrong with saying 'I don't want to eat cows or pigs'?

Vegetarians hate to eat meat, most of the time because of their love for animals. But why are they stealing food from the herbivores and omnivores? How's that showing love? Just quoting some comedian who said this.
