This is incredible. I see a lot of negative comments with regards to Shao Shang and I don't understand their thinking. Not once has anyone asked her what she wants. General is indeed her soul mate but he also used her and did the one thing she asked him not to and that was abandon her. If he had been honest she would have probably stood right beside him with a sword in her hand to take down those who harmed her beloved general so much. Instead she was abandoned yet again so she went to the one person who truly cared for her and that was the Empress. To be told they did it for her own good was a cop out. People who attack her are all fans of the general I am to but this incredible girl that is depicted in this series was abandoned as a new born baby. I understand why the mother left the daughter it is a pity no one else does. If she had left her twin brother he would have been led down the path of self he could be manipulated into anything they wanted. Leaving the daughter they thought she was been looked after by her grandmother. That she was safe instead she was bullied neglected and abused by her own family members. They expected to much to fast. They returned 15 years later she didn't even know what they looked like nor her brothers yet she was expected to give instant love affection respect and to be a young lady with proper etiquette. Neither Her beloved General or herself knew what love was

Bit late, but I'm here~ I loved watching this edit (and the way the quote lined up with the lyrics about the sun vs the stars was a super fitting musical choice). Now I'm just a bit worried for CSS and her family, and I hope that they're able to pull through. The next episode is going to feel like it takes ages. This edit was super focused on their relationship hurdles and the depth of their emotional connection though, and it was really lovely to see how you edited and paid tribute to them. I feel like when LBY learns of CSS's family troubles, he's probably going to be so worried and it's going to be interesting seeing how the drama team handles that next week (since I feel like we'd learn this next week). My heart breaks for CSS who isn't even being allowed to investigate herself.
