Yes. the kit come with a lock nut for Cassette hub. If your old bike wheel Cassette hub lock nut don't fit, you need to ask your local bike shop for help
Does the PAS have to go on the sprocket side? What if you drop a chain, will it destroy the PAS ? Seems like it would be safer on the left side of the cranks...

It depends on your bike and the sensor. In theory, it can be installed on either side, but the sensor may not be able to be installed on both sides.

Hello, this 500W kit is only available in the US market, if you are in the US and the bike is the right size then it will work in most cases.
