In my understanding a 'jeeyar' falls into a traditional belief zone . Only the ones who are involved in the close community will be qualified to elect/ nominate/ request the person .I hope this clarifies .thank you for asking 🙏

I don't vote for DMK. Let everyone be given an opportunity to become Jeeyar and Archaka of all Temples including Srirangam Temple. If the Davidian Movement is not there in Tamil Nadu and Ambedkar for the whole of India then Non Bhramins would not have got the rights that they are getting now. Reformation in Hinduism is the need of the hour. HR&CE is responsible for the protection of Temple property. Otherwise Temple property would have been sold long time back.
