Greg, your comment about spending time with your grandparents hit home with me. Mine taught me how to fish, shoot, camp, care for animals. I'm 68 and I still have the old 22 rifle that was grandpa's, the one he taught me to shoot with at 8 or 9 years old.
I ordered my first HOSS SEEDS this year and they have already turned to seedlings and I am very excited about that. "MR. HOSS" it was nice to learn so much about you, not to mention interesting. There should be more people in this world like you, people out to help others instead of just themselves. Thank you for all you do to help others and we do appreciate it. God bless you and your family and those who work for you.
My impression of Greg is that he projects a cool laid back image but has very deep roots. He has a grasp on both the art and science of agriculture. A fascinating man and inspirational.
It looks like you have lost some weight. slim and trim. Thanks to you and Mama Hoss for being down-to-earth and informative. You have already helped this new gardener more than you can know. God bless you both as you continue to do what you obviously love to do. Havagudun folks.
Great video!! How about asking “the “missus” some questions? I love learning about people that I watch on RUclips. Of course I love your products too!!
Thanks for sharing your personal life with us. I just planted some Hoss Tools beets this afternoon, my video will be out in the morning. Take care and have a blessed week to you both.
I just want to say thank you!! Greg and Sheila for sharing your knowledge with us .it has Truely made me and my wife a better gardener. May God keep blessing your family and business for years to come!!!!!!!
Hey Mr Hoss that showing out will get you . It took me 5 hernias and three rotator cuff repairs to quit showing up the want be young bucks lol . I like you have stoped doing that. Enjoyed the video wishing all the hoss family a wonderful week !!!!!
I loved this video!! Thanks for sharing!! And Charity is correct , next is Ms Sheila’s turn. This video answered one of my oldest questions…why the company was named HOSS tools….now I know!! LOL. LOVE you guys. Thanks for all the helpful information!!
Look forward to meeting y'all in Jemison next month! I've placed a few orders through Hoss Tools and have been well satisfied. You two are the Rock Stars of RUclips Gardening! Keep Rocking what you do!
Thank you for sharing this funny video when I needed it most during this uncertain time we are living in, it made me feel joy which I truly needed. You guys are the best.
That was so cool Mama Hoss and Hoss.Truth be told I have 5 pair of overalls too. My 2nd 162 seed starting tray arrived today! My 1st tray is under a light and on top of a heat mat. Seeded on Saturday and already have little starts. Time to Get Dirty!
I grew up gardening to. A lot of people wouldn’t get getting a push plow for your birthday. You just had to be there. I lost my grandpa about that age. He was my unofficial mentor. He was a pioneer in organic gardening. That was years before it was popular.
Love your video’s, I’m watching the video about freezing corn on the cob. Leave at least 2shuks on the cob, put in freezer bags, it will taste like fresh corn on the cob when you cook. I’ve done corn this way for years, and had good luck.
Hoss where u said what makes u angry got me to thinking though i'd run this by you about FULL potential and being fully disabled. I am 54 years old and I live High in the Appalachian Mtns of NC Just inherited my daddy's place where I grew up 5 acres and 2 houses after Mamma passed last year...Well after making the mortgage I didn't have the money left over to get things done and bring the old homestead back to life.So it was like my daddy took my hand I kept hearing the words he said to me once "Look at things threw my eyes that i've stuck back for you and think what would daddy a done with this?" with the hard times a hittin up on the world as it has I started the ball to rolling, within a week's time I had GOOD renter's for daddy's place and he's a master carpenter with a tractor and equipment so that parts getting done because we agreed Rent for work until everything is achieved that I want and LIKE i want. Next comes my gardens I can't work in the dirt and i know he's not got time to either, daddy kept a 1 acre garden and worked a 20-23 hr job as a welder everyday for his whole life he was my HERO, so I decided i'd build me the property in raised bed grow bag gardens waist high and work it that way, i'll sell to restaurants in my area and can, hydrate and preserve everything else as lil granny grunt taught me to do...SO with all that BAD so comes the good I hope I have given someone Inspiration to get out and do there is no I CAN'T unless ur just totally bed ridden. Enjoy your show and may God bless Connie C
I found yall's channel a few weeks ago while researching wheel hoes. I saw enough to figure out your product (wheel hoe) was one of the best if not the best. Last week I ordered the double wheel deal and a bunch of seeds. I put the wheel hoe together yesterday and I was very impressed with the quality of parts that go into the double wheel hoe. I tried it in the garden but it was too wet and just clumped up. Looking forward to gardening with the wheel hoe.
Mr Hoss have you ever been to the Rose Creek Mine & Campground in Franklin North Carolina? Thanks for all of your help videos I have been watching the for years.
I really enjoy listening to Greg talk I really feel like we have a lot in common. After talking with him at the homesteaders conference I feel like we could just sit and talk for hours lol which they always told me I’m good at talking anyway 🤣
Fav class.... accounting?....Yaaiii Mr. Hoss....My favorite subject is accounting too. I work in that industry and love it 😊 Thanks for the fun video. Keep up the good work God bless you
There's a lot to be said about living a life that's not all that exciting. But then, watching a 162 cell tray of seeds produce perfect germination can make my day, for sure!
Hoss, you are not boring, especially since revealing you want to get a dairy cow. Now that would surely add to your channel's entertainment quotient. Maggie looks like a Flattie -- (tell her I'm not saying she's fluffy & fat 😆). I am referring to the Flat Coated Retreiver breed. Ours was a super sweet, real smart, squirrel snagging, LakeOzarks coves swimming, deer jerky snacking, good snuggling beauty -- that we so loved for her 14 years.
