I think primary schools should be stream lined down to the essentials of what you need in general life: vehicle competency, financial competency, English, essential math skills, physical education definitely needs to go up and basically band and extra non essential classes or credits should accelerate you out of school faster and you should be able to test out of parts of the school year at any time. In this way you would still educate students and society in general and give incentive for them to be competent and not be delinquent as I have seen in public school during my day. It is a personal irritation to me and other people I have asked about school when related and not required things are taught in school that have no relation to most people's lives such as Quadratic equations. Geometry is fairly useful if you want to build things but most people don't use it.
