Jiyan is still my favorite character in WuWa and might be for a bit. He's easy to play and does a lot of dmg without needing much effort. I love him so much 🔥

Jiyan's liberation already deals 80k+ per swing for me idk how many times he gets to attack in his ult tho if it's at least 5 time that's 400k+ yet ppl keep thinking low of him
They're comparing their multipliers (usually). Since it's easier to compare that way rather than on a per build basis.
The thing is people can deal 300k demage on jinshi with a trash echo set while u can't deal even 300k with jiyan if u have trash echo plus u can give jinhsi taoqi and yuanwu unbuild and jinhsi will still deal 300k+ dmg while jiyan u will struggle if u not have s4 mortifi

Yes Jinhsi is great but that doesn’t magically make Jiyan trash.
Using Jinhsi, who is an outlier character, as a comparison is also a dumb way to get a “gotcha” moment.
Nearly ALL of the characters need good enough investment as well as proper teams to reach their peak performance, jinhsi is the only one that needs it the least due to her overtuned numbers
You can use Jiyan in the latest content and still get like 30 stars
And my god, even Calcharo can do it who is considered a mediocre unit due to high complexity and low return in his numbers.

Mortefi is literally rated up couple of times in popular banners
He was present in Jiyan’s own banner so you’d at least have 1 Mortefi if you’re considering having Jiyan unless you’re ridiculously unlucky
He was present in Changli’s banner which is also highly popular so many people by now would have decent amounts of Mortefi dupes
And he’d likely get rated up next patch in either Jiyan’s rerun or Shorekeeper’s banner

I prefer using yuanwu with my Jinshi because of his off field dmg, faster stack generation for jinshi, his toughness reduction/weakening of vibration strength, his ability to increase team's overall resistance to interpretation is really good and he only gets better with resonance chains. It's also the fact that his entire outro is such a big benefit.
yanwu barely doesnt do dmg compared with dedicated sub dps like yinlin and zhezhi
@@zirael3525 yeah but my jinshi is pretty much hitting 150-180K DMG at max stacks so it doesn't matter that his DMG is subpar. We only need him for his immense support capabilities.
I think zhezhi is better for her cause i can do a 2nd rotation with full forte bar on jinshi without swapping to zhezhi a 2nd time since her ult last for 30sec.

Anyone who says powercreep is real, is dumb in itself. I clear ToA all floors with Spectro Rover solo, or Sanhua solo.
@@yuminanirvalen I mean that isn’t what power creep means. It doesn’t outright make old units trash unless future units have no synergy. It just means a character does a better job. It’s not even just about numbers it’s about making the game easier. I think it’s more the devs did it right. For example the vigour mechanic in tower of adversity is great especially as different elements get buffed (so you can use a glacio character in the floor that gives glacio buffs).
Tof went too hardcore and raised the bar far too high when a0 new units were given higher multipliers and better than old a6. Especially since all advancements were just dps upgrades not much in the way of utility. Genshin for example Yelan c1 gives her skill one additional use. They did power creep wrong by making it just about damage. See in Wuwa shore keeper has exploration power creep with her butterfly skill, and that’s a thing. Shore keeper won’t replace Verina you need 2-3 teams to clear it all
I agree that Sanhua and other can be used and that’s really good. And that’s the way it should be. But wuwa is not like tof because it doesn’t require you to depend on players for help meaning whales carrying you and you’re useless.

At this point, even if Kuro make a character who have close to Jagurnaut level physic model, kuro will is pull it off and make it badass looking and make it 5star.

If Kuro starts releasing outfits, I could totally see this being the case.
Now... What I'm a little worried about is the trend that every limited 5 Star can basically fly. It made at least some sense for Jhinsi, less for Changli... And for Zhezhi? It's straight up nonsensical.
Then Shorekeeper seems like she is also flying, which again, makes a bit more sense than Zhezhi.
If you use Jhinsi's Echo ability and use your glider, you can gain some serious height, which should work in Domains (at least I think).
If you are that far above the ground, 90% of the mobs cannot even reach you. Some bosses can't reach you either. (I think the Inferno Rider and Impermanence Heron in particular have issues with reaching you.)
I know Xiangli Yao doesn't fly (or at least hover to that extent)
But essentially we are one step away from having Goku join the roster with Jhinsi having a Shen Long Pet, Energy Beams, Flying through the air and there's a Gauntlet Weapon in the game.
I actually stopped using Changli because I don't like the aerial combos. Specifically, it was annoying that it took 4 or 5 attacks midair in order to actually do a plunge. At least Zhezhi plunges on the second attack. It's a small thing, but when I'm using the glider and want to drop quickly, I want to actually be able to drop. And Chixia, my main, is a pistol user, so she can't plunge either.
I'm definitely hoping we get some more grounded characters in the future, and I'm considering building Xiangli Yao for a secondary team.
I mean, that's how aerial combat work, it's not for everyone, so it's fine. It's the kind of high-risk good payoff playstyle
Changli and Zhezhi are bird themed resonators, that's why they have aerial combos is my guess.
WuWa should put Jiyan a little bit later from Shorekeeper and Yinlin earlier, so I could have pulled Jiyan after Shorekeeper.

it's too soon to talk about power creep, we also need to consider the possibility kuro might upgrade old 4* into new 5* like they've been doing in pgr
One thing I will say if you're playing jiyan you definitely have to know what you're doing😂😂. His liberation can be very blinding so you might not be able to see enemy attacks coming in or be able to react to them quick enough. I do want a dedicated support/ sub DPS for my jiyan though cause hes practically my best build unit in the game with 70/245 crit ratio and his weapon is still at lv 80.
As a Jiyan main, I can relate. I guess this is the price we pay for him being easy and simple to use with all the free parries and the crowd control 😂 People should acknowledge that when saying he's the easiest to use, managing his ult duration in holograms is tricky

Well if we're drawing parallels: jiyan's mortefi is jinhsi's taoqi. If jiyan might get a 5 star specialized buffer, jinhsi would as well right? But if we're throwing balance into the congersation, there are many arguments to say jiyan and jinhsi both don't need a specialized buffer
I was always thought about the future when building, I built Rover Havoc for the future C6, went for a C1 Changli for the future 5 star team. Since I'm not spending too much I skipped the Spectro team.

Definitely plenty of truth in this video, but there's also the fact that there's specialization among these units. Jiyan is great for AoE whereas Jinhsi has comparably less AoE ability even with a bit of spread in her Incarnation form. So it makes sense she'd have more burst potential versus Jiyan. Changli has way more quick swap potential than the other two but also isn't a fully dedicated DPS to begin with given her buffing capabilities. So even when comparing these highly sought-after units there's a lot more nuance than simply looking at spreadsheet numbers.

It is real, but it just doesn't affect us as much. One of the reasons is that the game is pure PvE. No pressure, no tryhard competition demanding the latest characters. I 12/12 tower consistently with calcharo, there are videos of yangyang soloing tower lol. I personally waiting for more future pure dps like jinhsi.
Power ceep is happen when u cant complete content available in the game but there are various players who completed all TOA without limited 5 star resonators.

I still love using Changli main dps with Jinhsi. I enjoy being able to attack really fast then quickly switch for a nuke then switch back.
That's the best team in the game according to the Speedrun community so nothing wrong with that.

Changli and Jiyan teams are currently equal in power. While Changli is missing nearly entire team that synergizes well with her.
Havoc Rover overtaking Changli is delution. HRover might have better synergies if units come out first for HRover. Team power won't.
My main 2 teams are built around Changli and HRover, HRover is behind by a lot.
It is WAY too early to say powercreep. All limited units have been near the same level. Some are better than others but none are good enough to render another limited dps “useless.” Standard 5 stars will always be powercrept so they shouldn’t be considered when talking about powercreep.
i think at some point power creep will be needed in the game since the new enemy in the future patches will surely just get stronger and we will need stronger characters i just hope that they are open to buff the old characters to cope up
its about how you set your team for comfy gameplay for long run. powercreep stiil intact in some teams but we knew not all player willing to "tryhard" min max in challenges,
Tbh the try hard (CN) community rates Zhezhi pretty low cause she doesn't have as much personal DPS as Yinlin/Changli. Current meta (for fastest clears) seems to lean towards Double DPS & Support teams. Outro skill buffs lock you onto a Resonator for their longer animations, cutting the dps you'd gain from swap cancels.
A discussion about powercreep wouldn't be complete without mentioning Calcharo's name.
He is not powercreeped his entire kit is flawed like dodge mechanics in liberation.so xiangli yao is more like calcharo with his flaws fixed

There is no pvp, they can power creep as much as they want, if they keep the difficulty doable with every characters the power creep is just to make you pull the new unit more.
So where is the problem?:D If you want you pull if you don't want, its ok anyway , as you can still clear content.
Be it here or genshin, this magical power creep people keep talking about, its literally of zero impact on the game.

Hoping a reroll for Jiyan since I heard that he was easy to use. If he gets a dedicated sub-DPS, that will be fortunate. I was not able to pull when his banner was out. But for now, I will stick to my Jinnhsi and Jay-Z team.
my chixia deals 110k dmg in total with her liberation which is on par with most DPS they say who are top tier and must haves, i guess it all just comes down to substats
My opinions:
Jinshi -
I think Zhezhi and Jinshi are already enough, even for a duo. I never have to switch to Verina after the first rotation, because Zhezhi and Jinshi are so perfect together, that they clear with just duo.
Jiyan - My Jiyan hits very hard, and his artifacts aren't even perfect. 9K/Hit S1R1.
Changli -
I don't have much opinions on Changli, since I don't own her, but currently, I agree that there's no perfect character that synergieses with her currently.
Rover -
Definitely has potential, because we don't even have his other 3 chains yet.
Furthermore, we don't have a character that plays well with Rover.
Xiangli Yao/ Calcium -
Both are very good, but every electro dps is currently on the verge of dying because the Mephis Phantom Bug that let's you gain 15% Electro Bonus Damage on the first hit got fixed.
Opinions on Powercreep -
I somewhat agree, but I think powercreep means being unable to win by using older characters in endgame content.
An example is Calchurro and Danjin,
Calchurro and Danjin are still fully capable of clearing endgame content.
Powercreep will only occur once old characters are unable to clear endgame content in any way.
By the way, I think Zhezhi's pronounciation is:

My fully built Jiyan/Mortefi team clears faster than my fully built Jinhsi/Taoqi team. If you compare both with 4* subdps as an avg f2p player, Jiyan is better.

power creep is more real than water in kurogame games. this is following the same pattern as PGR and at a faster pace. it only has 2 patch for now but wait till 2.0 and no one will think these unit were meta at some point
For jinshi, zzi is not a perfect support. She buffs glacio and skill damage. Jinshi has the same potential to receive a perfect support/partner as jiyan and changli
Watch Shorekeeper power creep Verina on Jinhsi teams. I guess replacing Verina with a better unit is a buff to all teams though, depending on how well they can take advantage of whatever Shorekeeper does.
I don't consider that as a power creep since you need 2 sustains for ToA

Jinshi numbers are so high that her c1r1 its way above Changli c6 and Jiyan c3 . For hologram you can prepare incondence for Jinshi . And if you talk about tower other teams also start from zero buffs and concerto ❤ And if my C1R1 hits harder than your C6 R5 with around 40 % more then we don't need this tier list.❤

jiyan have a dedicated support like mortefi but jinshi doesnt yet, u cant use taoqui with because u wont be able to fill jinshi bar but when we get a resonator that buff resonance skill like taoqui and fill her bar with cordinated attack she we become crazy
Zhezhi already fills the bar very very fast and buffs skill, the only problem is the glacio damage buff instead of spectro

Idk what your point even was with this tbh. 80% of it was teambuilding and on the prospect of the future making others good. Tbh don't even think this needed to be made if you need to factor that in as a main thing, because who knows how long you're gonna be waiting for a Havoc rover support slot. Who knows if they'll even be good? Title is totally misleading. Saying powercreep isn't real when you know it's too early based on you needing to bet on a future that hasn't happened isn't good. All of these gacha games will have it.

well, i got every character in the game with most of the 4 stars being at rc4 at minimum, and i'm not a big whale, feels kinda good :) we will see, Xiangli Yao is an easy skip cuz we get him for free and there is no need for me to get his weapon since i rather play with the Calculator, maybe Camilia skip because i'm not a big havoc fan but we will see. ;)
Compare jinshi to ff from hsr wuwa takes more time to do high dmg.

In all actuality he'll likely be fine for those that invested in him, going by the testing we got in the event Calcharo for sure has a higher skill ceiling than XY, XY will be easier to play at a base level but Calcharo will be able to stack his dps windows with better uptime in duo dps comps or even have a higher uptime on dps ingeneral when it comes to blitzing as a hyper carry comp, if I remember right XY's ult has a hard 25 second cooldown while calcharo's has 20, that's gonna play a difference in certain dps windows.
@@rengi10 Yeah Calculator will still be good and among the top dps for awhile if you’re a very skilled player, the only problem is that most people aren’t skilled enough to fully utilize him
Calcharo isn't powercrept only because XY is stronger, but he was always doomed because of his clunky playstyle

Alto aero buff doesn't scale ots fixed so it's actually lame..
@@iflgames3245 Outro skill buffs the Aero damage of the next character by 23% for 14 seconds. It's not a fixed number, it's percentage based.

mortefi migh be a 4 star but it kinda dont matter when he is actually a much better support with sequences than both 5 star supports we have in zhezi and yiinlin so i dont think its that likely that he gets powercrept necesarily specially with him being such a niche support
I think you missed the point in the future there will be a character that does moretefi job better than him and it will enhance Jiyan team comp

@@marianodidio3170 yeah, I think while Mortefi could *eventually* be replaced on Jiyan's team, the amount of work he puts, especially at S6 and with investment, is way too insane to be replaced in the near future. the synergy he has with Jiyan is near perfect atm, and I think they released Mortefi in that state to give him longevity !
No but what if they release a character that does all that Mortefi does but with even more like energy regeneration or Aero dmg buff

I definetely don't agree with this. As both a Jiyan and Jinhsi haver, she is the one who is more likely to get better. Zhezhi is not a perfect support for her, doesn't matter if she's a 5 star. The moment any 4 star coordinated attacker comes out with the standard +38% dmg increase in skill dmg, Zhezhi would become a worse choice. Jiyan on the other hand has very little room to improve his dmg: even if a "5 star Mortefi" comes out, he would hypothetically only increase his personal sub-dps dmg. Which isn't great on Zhezhi either, since Yinlin already does more.
So yeah, Jinhsi could have better buffer+ better sub dps.
Jiyan could have just more sub dps.
That's until powercreep happens with support units at least, but we never know when and how that would happen.
That's kind of unfair tho. You considered both of what Jinhsi needs to judge her supports (Skill dmg and coordinated attacks), but only one of what Jiyan needs (heavy attack dmg without mentioning the energy needed)
Getting a better heavy attack buffer is not the only potential he has to improve. He relies on his ult so much, sure he doesn't take much time to get it, but getting a dedicated support that gives 50 resonance liberation energy for example can help him do twice the damage in the same time
That's just an example, I can see many other ways to improve his performance as a person who played with him since release.
As for Jinhsi, I find it hard for them to release another skill dmg buffers with coordinated attacks *again* when Zhezhi exists, especially that she's a limited 5* that people worked hard to get. Releasing a 4* or 5* who does it better? Nah, not any soon at least. People would be so mad
A 5* Aero sub dps would be big for Jiyan.
As he will get the standard 20% Aero damage + 25% heavy attack which will exceed Mortefi.
Bonus if they do higher damage than Mortefi.
Jinhsi wants coordinate.
A 38% skill won't matter if that support has no coordinate attack.
Also Zhezhi does a lot of personal damage so that isn't just that easy to get rid of.
If Taoqi had better concerto generation she would still lose to Zhezhi because of this.
Well the support for Jiyan could also have aero damage increase as well as heavy attack and being a sub-dps. And Jinhsi can also get spectro damage increase and skill damage coordinated attacker sub-dps so I would say it’s pretty much equal for their potential, but I doubt Jinhsi will get a character like that before Jiyan would since no heavy attack 5-star buffers have come out yet. It still basically boils down to Jinhsi having a better nuke and slightly better total dps while Jiyan has way better crowd control and ease of use
@@dendenmushi9714 A 5 star aero dps, buffing both aero dmg and heavy attack is extremely specific tho. It's much more likely to happen that a 4 star coordinated attacker will come out, having the standard buff on elemental skill dmg. Coordinated attacker are not something rare, it's just one of the few roles a character can have in this game, and having a bigger buff than Zhezhi just requires the standard amount given by any 4 star. And yet again, even Jinhsi could get Spectro dmg bonus+ resonance skill dmg bonus from a very specifc 5 star. She just has less buff than Jiyan at the moment, it's simple as that, and they both have a coordinated attacker in their best teams.
@@PY3100 Doubt he could do twice the damage as you're claiming with more energy, a good rotation already has basically no time wasted. He would just be easier to use at best.
In any case 50 energy is just crazy, Zhezhi only gives 15 now, a huge amount like that would actually benefit Jinhsi way more, allowing her to use a liberation every rotation.
Furthermore, Taoqi already has a better buff for Jinhsi, it's just the standard amount of buff given by any 4 star. So it's not something crazy to expect.
