- I'll show you how to perform live arrangements with the Maschine MK3 or Maschine Plus. This tutorial will share 6 ways you can arrange and perform a beat live, whether you are doing so in your own studio or for a crowd!
You can create and perform an arrangement in so many ways, and I'm sharing all the ways that I know personally. I prefer some of these methods over others, but I hope you can use one of these performance techniques to create beats of your own arrangement on the fly.
We'll utilize Patterns, Scenes, the mute and unmute buttons, and the Lock and Extended Lock buttons found on the Maschine MK3 and Maschine Plus controllers.

is there any way i could get my midi keyboard to play something seprate than whats selected in machine
Hmm I don't think so to be honest. I haven't been able to do that myself and I haven't seen it done by others either
How did you made the pads and buttons to fade in out?
Hey! What point in the video are you referring to?
@@MusicMemor in the entire video your maschine pads and buttons are like breathing, turning on and off, in my maschine+ the active buttons/pads are always On.
@@K3dev If you are referring to the colors changing, that is just caused by the camera. I'm not sure what causes it, but in real life, the pads are a solid color. There is no flickering.
hhahaha as I'm watching this I too was wondering how his machine is in Vegas mode and functioning still. lmao its just the camera catching weird artifacts from LEDS refreshing and the framerate.
It’s only one track. How to play long live with many tracks without stopping?
I'm not sure if there are better techniques out there because I have not researched it, but I experimented with creating an artificial DJ mix between two songs by utilizing muting/unmuting of things and using the mixer to mix in certain elements and mix out certain elements. This created a transition effect. To do this with multiple tracks, it'll take a lot of organization of your groups and soundslots. If I were doin it, I would lay out all my musical assets in groups in a particular order and color code them as well so its easier to remember when you are playing live
