The difference is that Draymond brought KD's contract and his commitment, that's when the warriors considered that was out of bounds and had to suspend him. If it wouldve been Basketball only issue, they wouldnt suspended him, just like any other time draymond had cussed out everybody else

Once again, Nick Wright is WRONG...Draymond didn't get suspended because he hurt KD's feelings, he was suspended because he crossed the line. This doesn't only affect KD, this affects the team's dynamics and the whole organization. A few GSW players before have hinted that Draymond is uncontrollable at times and as a result, gave GSW problems (3-1? I'm sure people remember) He had lots of outbursts but was always given a pass. He even said that he thought he will be traded after he almost punched Steve Kerr. GSW have always given Draymond a pass, but they had to put their foot down on this one while it's still early in the season so it doesn't continue especially when it matters (Playoffs, Finals)

Like the team (daddy) has to settle the beefs for you because you two can't hash it out amongst yourselves, KD might be perceived as too sensitive so Draymond going all in at him means management needs to step in and have his back otherwise he might hold it against them.

From what I understand though Draymond was going crazy so he probably was yelling at not only Kevin Durant but he was probably making a huge scene as well amongst other employees that work there people forget is not just basketball players that work in the facility there hundreds of other workers too.
The Warriors let Draymond be the scapegoat bc it was the easy way to show the world he Draymond was wrong for expressing himself in that manner "AND OH BY THE WAY"(Stephen A.Smith voice) to show KD that they got his back no matter what just so he can stay smh. Sad but true, what's even worst I wouldn't be surprised if KD actually felt comforted by that sus move from the Warriors and again shows the weak mindedness of KD. One last thing, it saddens me even more that this is the brother you go to war with and helped you and convinced you to come on this team and win titles. Though I believe everyone apart of this got everything they could've reasonably asked for. So my stance remains neutral.
The thing is Draymond has to recognize he wouldn’t be this good, this effective ANYWHERE else. He’s in the perfect situation. While on the other hand KD is gonna be KD no matter where he goes. He can feel how he wants to feel but end of the day Durant is infinitely better than Draymond on the offensive side of the ball and he has to give the ball up period.
Eh. Draymond is kinda like the Dennis Rodman of today. Everyone knows he's all defense and rebounding and not much of everything else. You'd just limit his offensive touches. His defense is good anywhere.

His point is KD would be a legit go to star anywhere. Send him to a bad team like Orlando or a great team like Boston and he would still be the #1 guy and flourish. Dray is only good when he’s surrounded with talent that caters to him. He’s not a legit go to star that can carry a franchise, just like Rodman...he was also just a defender/rebounder, he had no offensive skills or shooting skills.
Nope. KD has been a better player on the Warriors than he was on the Thunder, and would not be as effective if he was surrounded by average talent instead of all stars.
@@harrygarris6921 KD is in a system that plays to his strengths in GS. In OKC he was taking turns with Russ. There was no system in place nor did they really develop him. KD always had elite scoring ability but he has become a better defender in GS.

They suspended Draymond because it was the tail end of a back to back. If there were days off between the Clipper game and the Hawks game, Draymond would not have been suspended. The organization did this to protect both players from being in each other's face the very next night. This was not the organization picking sides. When Draymond went off at OKC a couple years ago, it was worse than this situation and he was not suspended. But again, there was no back to back after that OKC game. The organization did the right thing without picking sides.

It is only natural that Green would get upset if Durant is handling Free Agency as if he is already planning to leave. Should he have handled it differently - sure but in the end, if Durant is just playing through then Durant's weigh in the organization shouldn't carry as much

Carter is miscontextualizing the situation WAY too much. If it was JUST Durant asking for the ball, Draymond would not have reacted that way. We've seen them have on court disputes before that never went this far.
Draymond was never dealt with before because they never had to worry about sensitive star player leaving, and Draymond never reacted this way to Durant before because Durant didn't have two titles and a media buzz around his name. And as we've seen, his true egocentric personality comes out once he starts to get that attention. I can fully believe that he delighted Draymond with a superiority complex kind-of attitude.

It's much like Game 1 of the NBA Finals last June. JR Smith committed a bonehead blunder that may have cost them that all-important ballgame and LeBron made him known his displeasure. But Smith immediately accepted his mistake and everyone moved on. Draymond should have just admitted his mistake so that they would have focused on an ongoing game; they still have 5 minutes to make it right. Instead, he met anger with more anger, saying profanities along the way, and that worsened the situation. 😞
