Shmee150 Awesome Video I'm so glad your Renault Clio V6 Project is finally done and I think it sounds absolutely incredible and looks absolutely incredible in the Shmuseum
Now this is how you bring a car back to life and what an amazing car it is. I did not even know this car existed. Thank you for sharing. Well done and congrats!
It's great to see you finally drive this car! Watching the progress on how it went from the black car in a bit of a sorry state to it being probably one of the cleanest ones on the road right now was so interesting! I'd love to see a video comparing this (basically the top of the range Mk2 Clio) against your other Clio (the base model) and compare how different the two different models are!
Congrats Tim such an awesome car, I have loved watching the restoration project on the other channel!! Can’t wait to see more content with it to come, maybe some track days?
Surprisingly, this machine is as exciting as any super car collection day! There is something about seeing a project progress like this. I hope you add more "classics" to the collection.
Stunning little car, love the idea of OEM+ so it still looks stock. Great idea of having a "project car" thats not a supercar. Hope to see other projects like this giving older cars a new lease of life . Well done to you and your team 👍
I love these type of transformations...keeping intrinsically valuable vehicles up and running. This is more interesting for me than super cars.Good stuff guys 🤜🤛
I had a 2001 mk1 v6. Bloody great fun, bought it in 2003, should have kept it!! Only paid 20k then. Sounded nicer driving with engine cover off. Biggest head turning car I’ve ever had. Lovely to see a mk2 this nice. Great job
Looks incredible!! Enjoyed the entire process, if you can please do more builds like these. I enjoy the fact you get all these companies involved too, great seeing it done!
Actually I am restoring my Clio 2 phase 1 which is in my family for 3 generations. Hopefully my children will love it as much as I do. Cheers from Holland
I really like watching your teams process on building this car. It's a fun thing to do and you've done it complete!! Many just do a bit here and there, but this was done nicely! Enjoy it!!
If I’m honest hot hatches are not my thing, I’m a V-8 muscle car person. That said, I must give props when they’re due. Your little labor of love here really turned out spectacularly!! It would be a killer canyon runner here in the states and I’m sure equally so on your British B-Roads!
This has been one of my favorite series on the channel! I love the supercars but I love seeing Shmee get a classic and restore/build it to Shmee Spec. Cheeeeeeeeers!
I enjoy these type of cars more than supercars! Growing up in Europe and now in the States. Nostalgia is big here. These are so iconic ! Silver wheels are always the answer! Black wheel trend is stupid
1:08 to 1:19 Schmee you remember Jim Trott from the vicar of Dibley, yeah that's me right now going no no no no no at your statement, the V6 in the middle makes perfect sense as this is a throwback to the rally cars of old, the mid engined hatchbacks of group 4 and Group B, the monsters of the 80s, the best of the best of the best, a proper rally car for the road. IT MAKES ABSOLUTE PERFECT SENSE, its a mid engined supercar road car rally monster in the same vein as those and it aims to give you Porsche 914 type practicality ontop of it, where you have two boots and plenty of space to actually use the thing. its Genius! proper french genius in the same Vein as the DS and the SM
Car looks stunningly great! The moment you were gonna take the front plate off, the carl looked so amazing in that color surrounded by all the other cars... just wow
.....I never ever dreamt of this day ever happening...... That Shmee150/Tim would be driving a "motor" that I actually have in one of my cars .... I have that wonderful short-stroke PSA V6 engine....a lil down on power and torque than the one in the Renault Clio V6! Same characterful engine though!!!!
Silver wheels for the win, I used to be a big black wheel fanboy, but now that I’ve gotten older I’ve greatly appreciated silver, chrome, and lighter colored wheels… but still forever love mag blue and bronze wheels
Amazing to see you finally getting to drive it! My first car was a Clio and have had a couple since! Great choice for the colour and 100% correct on the wheel colour!
It's just gorgeous! Congratulations. I find a car like this much more exciting than a supercar; it's relatively attainable, you can use most of its power on public roads, and it's not so sophisticated that you can't work on it yourself. Really cool. Everyone always has a soft spot for their first car.
The car looks soooo good Tim absolutely nailed it! Brilliant idea doing these sort of cars bringing them back to there best/ better than new ! There are so many of cars similar to this sort of age range and meby bit older that would be so good to have a retro section in the garage , ford RS's , Vauxhall GTE's/SRI's, Golf GTI's or Corrado the MG's meastro or metro turbo basically the hot hatches from 80's 90's & 2000's its been really good watching the resto progress 👍 hope you do more and end up with a retro section in the garage! Thankyou for all your hard work Tim your vids are 2nd to none!!!!!!👍👍👍
Tim mentioned using EBC Redstuff brake pads, and likely EBC rotors as well. I can vouch for these as the best aftermarket brakes I have ever used. I bought EBC slotted, and drilled rotors, but used EBC Yellowstuff because they recommended Redstuff for racing, but I bet they are even better at stopping than my Yellowstuff pads. These brakes are awesome, but with racing around the streets of California, they lasted but a year before needing new rotors, and pads. However, I really was abusing these pads like only 1% of us do. Regular driving you should at least get normal range, but far superior braking. I'm not sure why Tim went for just the slotted cheaper rotors, but they should be fine for regular street driving as I highly doubt Tim will use them as I did. 😁😎👍✌
Single wiper conversion would look sweet ! looks fantastic hope to see some trips and good sound and better cameras to see and hear the experience, well done like the adding of modern classics keep buying more, Escort Cosworth would look fab next to the GT40.
So much better! It looks that you can add a 5mm spacer easily in the front wheels too! Maybe you can do something with the center console...paint it acid yellow or cover it with alcantara? The same with the air outlets on the dashboard. Also, think of something to spice up the door cards too! Wonderful car!
Man, that's crazy! I own a 2004 1.6L Clio, and unfortunately, it's basically impossible to buy a V6 Clio here in Brazil (I think there is only one here, and was sold above USD 100k). Definitely an ultimate track day machine.
I owned a bright red 1.8 16v Clio back in the day and even now it was my favourite car ever to drive. Next car after that I chose the Clio Sport 172 over that gen BMW M3! Sooo love sporty Clio’s.
Great Job on the Clio guys!! Looks awesome, sounds awesome. Can’t wait to see this thing go around the ring. Maybe let Misha take it in hand and see what it’s capable of.
dont know if its just me but this is my favourite car from your collection, I love what youve done with it and i hope its as fun to drive as it looks! This car is very close to my heart i drive a similar yellow c2 vts which is like the clio v6 little brother!
I would never have chosen that colour, but from the first time i saw it painted i had to admit that it looks badass. The bright colour makes the bonkers design pop. I hope it doesn't kill you..and that it'll deliver more fun than what you've paid to make it happen. ..oh and: The numberplate is a beautiful thing. I like that you're hounering the OG Clio that way.

😄
It is interesting how the character of the car changed after the engine was installed in the trunk
why not just get a lotus evora gt, argueably sound sbetter than c8 z06 corvette , proper circular sand communicative steering wheel, better looks....
Shmee150 Awesome Video I'm so glad your Renault Clio V6 Project is finally done and I think it sounds absolutely incredible and looks absolutely incredible in the Shmuseum
Yes

Sounds like a plan
The colour has really grown own me. Hope to see more projects. Congrats Tim.
It's really bold but I love it
Very unique, very quirky and something we never see in the United States. Thanks, Tim, and thanks to the Shmuseum team for coordinating everything.
It’s great that you can appreciate a car from ‘04 in the same way you can appreciate the Zenvo, you’re a true driving enthusiast!
I really wasn't sure about the colour change, but damn it works, congratulations Tim you've done very well, Rj in Oz
Fantastic!
Exactly the stuff you should be doing and keeping. Proper classic
AMAZING!!😮 YOU SHOULD 100% get clear engine cover then paint the rocker cover to match the car❤️❤️
100% should happen
I was thinking a carbon affect cover, with the renualt sport v6 picked out in body colour.
I love how you seem to get as much enjoyment out of a Renault Clio as you do your supercars. Great vid.
Congrats Tim such an awesome car, I have loved watching the restoration project on the other channel!! Can’t wait to see more content with it to come, maybe some track days?
So cool! My friends dad had an Iliad blue 05 when he worked for Renault, so this is brining back some good memories!
Love your builds and the behind the scenes with @theshmuseum makes it even better!
Thank you!
Probably one of my favorite cars in the collection now. Can’t wait to see you take it on a road trip.
Surprisingly, this machine is as exciting as any super car collection day! There is something about seeing a project progress like this. I hope you add more "classics" to the collection.
We sure will
You can have all the exotics in the world but this is a regular car enthusiasts car for the people and its beautiful
I actually love the color, thanks for not messing up this one up Tim
That acid yellow under the lights is absolutely insane. What a car and so worth the wait. Amazing car
This car is so nice. Silver wheels and accessories is THE perfect choice. Well done!!
Cute Clio V6, has a mean grumble out the dual exhaust, nice color and beautiful rims
I still don’t loose my dream of them putting a drift set up in the V6 with the hydraulic handbrake and drift suspension.
I had a 2001 mk1 v6. Bloody great fun, bought it in 2003, should have kept it!! Only paid 20k then. Sounded nicer driving with engine cover off. Biggest head turning car I’ve ever had. Lovely to see a mk2 this nice. Great job

The spec on this is one of the best in the collection 👌 Acid yellow with those silver wheels and the side vents blends so well.
Very nice to see these kind of builds of iconic cars. Hope you get some more so the guys from the shmuseum stay entertained.
Looks superb under the Shmuseum lights, great job!
This is the best looking hothatch you can get, plus in acid yellow ? 😍😍😍 hope this will be a long term keeping 🤤🤤
I think the inside of the headlights painted the same collar as the car would look good also! It would fit that car.
Still remember driving that car in Need for Speed MW 2005, easily the coolest hatchback ever! and that color is so beautiful
This has been one of my favorite series on the channel! I love the supercars but I love seeing Shmee get a classic and restore/build it to Shmee Spec. Cheeeeeeeeers!
Looks incredible Tim congratulations I love the Clio v6 especially in this colour
Looks great, and well worth the hard work. RY04 needed this. Well done Scott @ SGM
I enjoy these type of cars more than supercars! Growing up in Europe and now in the States. Nostalgia is big here. These are so iconic ! Silver wheels are always the answer! Black wheel trend is stupid

Magnificent result!!! But I would have customized it differently. But repeat, excellent result!!!
Car looks stunningly great! The moment you were gonna take the front plate off, the carl looked so amazing in that color surrounded by all the other cars... just wow
Yup. Love it.
Silver wheels look sick!
Proof the silver wheel colour was the way forward, the car looks fantastic and sounds fantastic 😎👌
I used to have a Clio 182 of the same vintage, and that was absolutely god tier to drive. Can only imagine how much fun this is going to be. Enjoy!
There are very few cars I want more than a Clio V6. So so cool.
Great that you’ve reinvigorated this and returned it back to the road. Nice save 👍😊
Brillant addition beautifully done. Please do more like this with older icon cars.
That colour was my favourite on the XR6 also. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
love this car - awesome look and stunning sound😍👌
.....I never ever dreamt of this day ever happening......
That Shmee150/Tim would be driving a "motor" that I actually have in one of my cars .... I have that wonderful short-stroke PSA V6 engine....a lil down on power and torque than the one in the Renault Clio V6! Same characterful engine though!!!!
Needs megane rs recaro seats for the finish. Beautiful build
That looks and sounds amazing it's absolutely beautiful.
I hope you dont end up selling it after two drives later like the red focus
What a lovely car that clio is, especially in that colour with those wheels. Excellent project series to watch from start to finish.
Silver wheels for the win, I used to be a big black wheel fanboy, but now that I’ve gotten older I’ve greatly appreciated silver, chrome, and lighter colored wheels… but still forever love mag blue and bronze wheels
Mate. its stunning. Wasn't sure of the colour at first cause I love them in the blue but I love it. Really enjoyable series.
This Clio and your GT4's have been your best builds in my opinion..
All great drivers cars
Red focus RS?
Perfect car to do it with
Cool idea for you scrap clio, make it into a table put the original plates on each side think it would awesome addition to the garage
congrats to you. love cant wait to see more, have loved the build process on both channels.
I can't even imagine how much this would have cost. But what a job! It looks the mutts nuts!
Amazing to see you finally getting to drive it! My first car was a Clio and have had a couple since!
Great choice for the colour and 100% correct on the wheel colour!
How about Shmuseum inlays in the headrests.
It's just gorgeous! Congratulations. I think bringing a car like this back to life and improving it is much more satisfying and special than just buying a new supercar.
What a car! Can't wait to see more cars of that type. Maybe one day we'll see a Delta Integrale Evo 2 in your garage!

What a cool little car! I love the variety (and color!) Of your collection! I'm looking forward to the adventures with this one!
The clio v6 is very tricky at the back. The Clio you want is the Clio Williams. That one drives like a dream.
So much better! It looks that you can add a 5mm spacer easily in the front wheels too! Maybe you can do something with the center console...paint it acid yellow or cover it with alcantara? The same with the air outlets on the dashboard. Also, think of something to spice up the door cards too! Wonderful car!
Great transformation!! As our friend Tavarish would say "OEM Plus!"
Make sure you keep it. One of the best & most interesting cars in your collection now!
Amazing car... one of my favourite in the collection. I also want one!
Please keep it forever Tim it really suits your collection
Great work on the Clio V6, it's a well deserved restoration...
very very nice! Love to see more youngtimer purchases in the future!
Amazing looking Clio!
Please take a look at the Throphy rear spolier. Look’s awesome on the Clio V6👌
Man, that's crazy!
I own a 2004 1.6L Clio, and unfortunately, it's basically impossible to buy a V6 Clio here in Brazil (I think there is only one here, and was sold above USD 100k).
Definitely an ultimate track day machine.
@Misha Charoudin should lap this car with you on the Nurburgring
That is a beautiful result!!
Do love a V6 Clio should do a road trip in France and visit all the race tracks and do a lap of them
I owned a bright red 1.8 16v Clio back in the day and even now it was my favourite car ever to drive. Next car after that I chose the Clio Sport 172 over that gen BMW M3! Sooo love sporty Clio’s.

Congratulations Tim, remember our convo RE plate 😉
I can't believe how good it sounds. One of, if not the, nicest sounding donks in your collection.
Awesome car and great restoration project!! What are the heat levels and engine smells like inside the cabin when driving?
The clio V6 has to be my favourite in you're collection
Nice, never driven one but always thought they looked mental. Just need an original Clio Williams now
It is proper, proper cool! Can’t wait to see your next project car. This needs to be a keeper
Looks great. I hope with all the work that went into this car that it will be part of your permanent collection.
Classy Tim, pure class. Great spec, perfect, no bling, all roar and class. Well done.
😂
“Don’t want to get something wrong in the dim light on day one but…” busy having fun 🤙 congrats Shmee
Interesting little run about. It's proper. It's not a lorry. You won't get boonswoggled. It's a cracking good bugger.
Awesome! This really is one of my favorite Shmeemobiles! Can´t wait for it to be taken to the Nürburgring! :D
I love your zenvo your Aston but that Clio is the most fantastic thing I’ve ever seen. I will be entering and thank you 🙏👍
