You've very welcome! I'm still loving the NT and started videoing more rides again. The weather is rarely on my side. I think I'm cursed. I video for my memories, but it's very satisfying if there is something for everyone to watch. Many apologies for the nonsense I talk about when I press the record button!

24:44 .... I went with the black one ... looks both understated and mean at the same time 😉 Agree about the white ... I bet they get mistaken for police bikes at first glance

I was so close to choosing the black one but as a fully paid up member of the Dull Mens Club I couldn't get the thought of swirl marks on that lovely paint after I'd washed it and managed to scratch it. I've just cracked the 10k miles on mine and attempted a video but the GoPro was being like a GoPro.....Some footage, so I might upload it. Still love the bike which says a lot. It's been faultless in some of the most torrential rides I've ever done. Still can't work Android Auto though.

@@sebluddyshame443 LOL ... another Dull man here too 😂 Yeah, know what ya mean about the swirls, only just got my NT and it came used (9K miles on it, it's done 2 tours of Pyrenees with previous owner) so has a certain patina to it ... but it came fully loaded with the voyage pack, quick shifter and a load of other bits all for a great price. Also means the pressure is off for my OCD now as I can just blame any unsightly stuff on the last owner 😆 Cracking bikes, handle better and move faster than you'd expect .. surfing the torque wave feels great. Not tried Android Auto yet ... still have that mystery to unravel, lol. Look forward to your next vid 😉

Hi . Are you satisfied with NT? Have you found any major flaws?

Hi, I'm very satisfied with the NT, it's fantastic in town cutting through traffic and equally as good for more spirited riding. The weather protection is excellent , no more filthy boots after a wet ride. The only thing I have found is slow riding can be a pain, I have been in a couple of sets of road works where there is a convoy vehicle that travels at 5 mph and the bike just seems to be on and off the throttle. It's improved by choosing rain mode.
The 100bhp is very adequate. It feels faster than my tiger 1200 that had 135bhp. It's a little chuggy if you accelerate from low revs but that soon smooths out. I dont use the touch screen so can't comment on any reported faults with it and my phone is a little low on processing power so android auto works when it feels like it so it's Tom tom and a separate Bluetooth adapter for me which I prefer. All in all, after 9800miles I whole heartedly recommend it. The panniers could do with being a little bigger. If you get on or have one, you absolutely must fit a front fender extender and a rear hugger. Safe riding!

@@sebluddyshame443 I picked up my 6 month old NT1100 (manual) today, I already had bought a hugger, fenda extenda (Pyramid) and a radiator guard ready to fit. A lovely bike to ride, very comfy and what a great sound! Nice video Seb.

I just picked up a lightly used NT in the last couple of days ... my first touring bike after riding nothing but naked bikes for the last 2 decades. I can completely agree with the other 2 replies here .. only been a few days but I'm very impressed with the bike. Feels like a bit of a handful weight and size wise initially (compared to thin, featherweight nakeds) but doesn't take long at all to get used to it. The comfort, wind / weather protection, handling and torque / power are all very much on point .. it can be effortlessly smooth and relaxed but also has a spark of wildness up above 4K rpm. Surprisingly good fun to ride ... throwing about a big heavy bike at speed on back lanes is a proper laugh ... and it'll crush long journeys with consummate ease. I'd highly recommend trying one 😉

What looks like a really nice ride spoiled by a puerile commentary.

Thanks Albert, magnificent roads up there. You'd have loved the utter drivel I spout to myself when the camera is turned off! I'm thinking of doing one of those audio only things, that ride was about 10 hours. An aural delight especially for thee. Would you like the adult or child version?
