Since you are on this topic, I think the 2Pac song "Keep your head up" fits right in. Enjoy!
@@MaddyReactions you should listen to Tupac " unconditional love" beautiful song also
@@MaddyReactions man, love your compassion, got me over here teary eye
Your reaction is the reason why Pac is the GOAT. His pen is unmatched
This song is considered so important. That it was saved by the U.S. library of Congress. For future generations!
Is it this one or keep your head up ? I Gus’s we can Google lol
The most wonderful reaction ever. Such honest and precious tears. I hope you react to more 2Pac, maybe "Keep Ya Head Up" or "Unconditional Love" next.
PS: You are beautiful as a human can be.
This song makes growin men cry, 2 PAC is to real, so much substance 👑
2Pac's mother was a Black Panther, she was in jail while waiting for her trial. She defended herself without any lawyer, she won and got released.
Oh wow
Watch dear mama documentary about tupac family and you would understand more@@MaddyReactions
And with that her and her son became legends.
God bless them both
@@MaddyReactions She literally beat the feds in court and proved that they paid people off to try and egg the BPP on into committing violent acts so that the feds could move in and murder all of them. They were socialists -something the govt and media to this day try to hide from people - MLK was a socialist too. She is an actual legend for that.
Not sure how true this is but someone asked his name whwn he was young and they heard the Shakur last name and said something along the lines that they would have a hard life. Alluding to all the struggles past Shakurs had endured
I feel you Maddy. Im in my 40s and I still shed a tear when I hear this song. Its refreshing to see our younger generations feel the music as we did back then. Thank you for sharing, take care.
Your precious tears perfectly described this harsh reality, thank you Maddy 🌺
Thanks for listening
Songs like this are what made 2pac so special. He was willing to show every side of his personality especially the vulnerable side at a time when gangster rap was at its height.
❤️
The more you listen to Pac, the more tears you will shed. He was a master song writer and those songs will invoke various kinds of emotion. React to him more and you’ll see.
The most genuine reaction I ever came across. Beautiful
He was around 22 or 23 years old when he made this song,,the song resonates with many because it’s not just personal to 2Pac but also universal, capturing the complexities of love, gratitude, and forgiveness in family relationships. Great song what poet.
Understanding the struggles people have is very important. Maddy, thanks for reacting to this song. It reminds me how much I really appreciate my Mother.
❤️❤️❤️
i was lucky to had met 2pac when they were filming the ''keep your head up '' video back in the 90s ...you could feel his positive energy ...he was a man of the people
This song brings tears to my eyes. RIP Tupac and Afeni Shakur
❤️❤️❤️
2Pac's mom was a Black Panther, Afeni Shakur, was in jail on bombing charges, acquitted. She married a man who was not 2Pac's biological father but he found out and split. She got married again to another man involved with the Black Panthers and they stayed together for at least 7 years. Wow, crazy story! Great reaction Maddy!
Oooooohhh wow
What they forgot to mention was the bombing plans were talked about amongst two rats who didn’t know they both were undercover agents. The FBI was on a documented mission to destroy any positive black figure or hope of a black messiah in America. It’s called Cointelpro. Look it up. Afeni didn’t bomb nothing. Afeni was not married to nobody but mutulu officially. She dated pac actual dad around the same time of another guy named legs. Legs just took her and the baby in, if I’m not mistaken he could not produce kids . So he just wanted to be a father tbh.
Not just bombing charges but trying to bomb government buildings WAYYY more serious then just bombing charges , how she got off and defended herself didn’t have no lawyer is crazy , you would have to be very intelligent and know the laws more than a lawyer to get off 😊
@@pothead2194 Very true. She interviewed witnesses and knew enough about the law to prove her innocence in court. I believe the New York chapter of the Black Panthers was being set up. A conspiracy to bomb police stations and government buildings would accomplish absolutely Nothing for their cause. But COINTELPRO was constantly trying to falsely depict the Panthers as terrorists.
@MaddyReactions Also his father was still alive but dead to Tupac. He really didn't try to have anything to do with his dad. His father didn't really try to be realized as "Tupac's father" until after Tupac had already passed away.
No one can match PAC till this day!!!
Pure beautiful reaction to the goat of rap and love for the people. They couldn't manipulate 2pac for he was his original self. A true leader by example 👏 🙌 ❤️.
I have so much respect for you for showing your true feelings, you made me cry and that’s not something I do easily.
❤️
Thanks lady for your genuine reaction. God bless you. 2 Pac'song is transcendental.
❤️
Shout out to your reaction.. this was great and you spoke from the heart ❤️
Great Reaction Maddy what made Tupac so great that he wasn't just a rapper he stood on so many things he wasn't scared to show who he was as a person /or as a man it will never be another Tupac Shakur keep up the great work
Don’t apologize for getting emotional Maddy I completely understand

2 pac father is actually still alive 2pac was told he was dead
Yeah thats pretty messed up when people convince you when you're a child that this is how such and such is and then find out years later all of it was a lie
Your reaction is real. And you are 100% correct. Respect!
Growing up in Poverty was no joke,it will either make U or break U.RIP Pac
I can relate to every words of this song
Hugs
Need more 2Pac reaction, keep ur head up & changes!
Amazing how PACs music always has the ability to make you think. And start a deep conversation. I think he was the MLK of our generation! RiP PAC!!! He was also the smartest rapper of our time!!!
I had a self proclaimed oreo friend of mine introduce me to this song a few years ago i can appreciate this song my mama wasn't a crack fiend but she was a hard working single mom to a son and she worked harder than any man on the. Jobs she did i wish she didn't have to work so hard in my younger years but i love my mama and im trying to take care of her now that im in my forties cause she cant do much for herself but im glad she made me who i am now being hard headed wnd showing me i dont havet to really on other's in order to survive this world
Aw, Maddy… you were killing me with this one… just wanted to give you a hug by the end. And you were right. I totally agree.
Great video and song that moves you like this one.
❤️

Documentary on Hulu about Pac and Afeni called dear mama is a great watch. RIP to Tupac and the queen Afeni
Pac´s dad didn´t die. His name is Billy Garland and he was a black Panther just like Pac´s mom was. They somewhat reconciled after the Quad studio shooting and his dad went there to see him and never asked a dime from Pac so that wasn´t the reason why he went to the hospital. He just probably tought his son will die and he wanted to see his son alive the last time, thankfully Pac didn´t die that day. Afeni Shakur told Pac his dad was dead so that´s why the line no love from my daddy ´cause the coward wasn´t there he passed away and i didn´t cry....
Love your Reaction, real and authentic to a Classic song from a great artist ! P.s. Pac mom was a black panther and she defended herself along with 20 others on the Panther 21 cases and she was facing over 300 years and beat it. She was actually lock up pregnant with Pac in her belly.
"Papa'z Song" is even more raw 2Pac song.
I'm so glad you did this one, Maddy. Tupac will forever be so important to music worldwide. Legendary. Please react to "Changes" by Tupac. You'll love that one too! 💪🏽❤️
❤️
Good reaction to an old popular classic rap banger and Maddy looking solid as before. Lol 😂😂😂
6:19 I appreciate this insight so much because I never thought about gangs that way. I'm crying with ya, this song always makes me cry, and feel like there's something new to learn every time ~
❤️
Well the system has been intentionally making it a point to break up the black family before rap existed.
Looks like 2pac did it again
Ill never understand 2pac slander.......he was more lyrical than most......👑
Your honest, unfiltered reaction endears us to you Goddess and solidifies Tupac's place in history, not just music. 30 years later people who weren't born are moved by him. Keep it up Madame. I'm watching now. Peace😢
❤️
Theres a reason PAC is considered the greatest!
Love your reaction! Your words are so true and touching. Can you imagine if Tupac was still alive today?
I felt your heart Maddy. ❤
❤️❤️❤️
2Pac died when he was 25 years old and he made this song when he was 24 years old and he died in 1996 and this song was recorded in 1995 while 2Pac was in prison for accused for “raping” a fan and. This song was 2Pac’s biggest hit song
PAC words always hit hard!!!
Listen Madds, don't apologize for being passionate about being righteous because whether they know it or not many on these platforms need to hear it from somebody that is in their peer group. Tupac was prolific in his time, and wasn't affraid to be vulnerable, which is the exact opposite of what you'd hear in music today. Loved this reaction 💯🔥🔥
❤️
*2Pac* mom was in jail because she was part of the *Black Panthers* also *2Pac* dad did't die his mom lied & he wasn't in his life so he was dead to him. (They did meet a couple times after he became famous & after he got shot the first time)
Oh wow
@@MaddyReactions His name is Billy Garland. They do look alike.
Pac's mom was a Civil Rights leader and a political prisoner at that time. She was one of the Panther 21! Check it out.
One thing I learned from Tupac and ran with was, if you don't like the way things are, change it. Start something new. "Create your own momentum."
My dad walked out on us, left my mom with 3 boys under 5 years old. We grew up in the gutter! All three of us are successful now. I was briefly interviewed in Forbes, and I'm happily married with 3 kids of my own that I spend as much time with as I can, every day.
I love this reation .. you just gain a new follower .. ima go back and watch more of your videos . Thank you for doing this
Welcome!! 🤗
Afeni Shakur wrote in her autobiography about defending herself against charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to bomb buildings, and conspiracy: "I was young. I was arrogant. And I was brilliant in court... because I thought this was the last time I could speak. The last time before they locked me up forever... I was writing my own obituary."
I remember being a Marine in iraq. All my paychecks went to my mom and brother. Right or wrong. Guilt. I made sure my baby brother got fed. Tupac. I feel u. 😢 and i hate what i did.
Your commentary near the end was so touching, nearly brought tears to my eyes. Enjoyed your reaction and hope you’re having an amazing week.
Thank you! You too!
I feel extremely fortunate, I'm a black man who has had both of my biological parents in my life since i was born. And they have both been there for me throughly without hesitation ❤
Tupac moms was a Black Panther. She was jailed because the government accused them of a bombing. She was pregnant, defended herself and was aquitted. Tupac roots comes from a revolutionary standpoint...you can hear it in his music...
Tupac - Baby Don't Cry is the first song that introduced me to HipHop in 1999
I recommend Baby Don't Cry and Thugs Mansion
Like Pac said "Keep Ya Head Up"
Preciate the reaction thank you Maddy
I do remember a decade ago me and my neighbor were in my apartment when my mom and dad were separated for a couple years as i was living with her and i had the greatest hits cd in my cd player so this song was playing and im just mellowing out and then i turn around and see him outta nowhere breaking down crying and im looking at him like what you crying for? But once he told me it was because of how he was treating his mom i was like in my mind mmhmm yeah bro you gotta understand you only have one mother be blessed that shes still here and prays to see you become the man you grow to be because once shes dead and gone she ain't coming back so yeah this song along with brendas gotta baby and papaz song is very powerful and deep and could break you down
❤️
2Pac mum,Afeni Shakur,was part of the Black Panters,not a criminal.
She defended herself in court and win
I remember pac said
“Watch they gon wait until I’m gone to be like
“Oh my god did you hear the words!? The guy was DEEP.”
But while I’m here it’s gonna be
“Gangsta rapper blah blah blah gangsta rapper.”
2 PAC was a God
The best part for of this vid was :
1) the shock lol
2) the social commentary and empathy at the situation, while both acknowledging that it is wrong and needs to be changed.
Not having a father alone can destroy a life. What about not having a father while poor and having a mother on crack. Too many issues here. It’s beyond black America now and so many are facing this. Tupac once sad “America eats it’s babies” and it’s very true.
You are amazing with beautiful depth which I highly, highly, highly appreciate. Thank you for your vulnerability, your authenticity, for your empathy, for your beautiful youness.
❤️❤️❤️
Wow some old school rap, props to whoever requested this 👏🔥🔥
❤️
You are amazing! Beautiful Smile! Love this 2Pac reaction. My favorite artist. He has so many songs that make you think and get you in your feelings. He was very intelligent and had a good heart from being raised by his mother. A little gem: His mother was in jail while she was pregnant with him because she was a crucial member of the Black Panther Party in NYC. At that time the FBI's COINTELPRO saw them as a threat so they infiltrated them and set them up. The amazing part is she defended herself, which was unheard of, and she was acquitted 3 days before 2Pac was born. Hope you react to more of 2Pac. Some others songs are "Brenda's got a Baby", "Keep Your Head Up", "Changes", "White Man's World" and many more. Hope you can get to react to some of his interviews as well. He was a brilliant man! I think his message will resonate with you. ❤
❤️❤️❤️
Classic song, Tupac was a very intelligent individual.
Mr shakur evokes emotion😔🌹
*Did you Notice there were NO Curse words?* & that's his mom in the video
Because of your commentary you should also check out *#2Pac** (Keep Ya Head Up)*
Poetic masterpiece by Tupac ❤
Loved the reaction 👍
Not most in the black community don't know their father, but a lot. Most of the guys i grew up with that were locked up most, had fathers in their lives. Most serial killers and wife beaters had fathers in their lives. Media can be blamed for telling us falsehoods. Most of us that had single mothers back then, grew up wanting better for our children mothers then didn't play friends to their children like now. I'm 46, drugs in our communities were new to us. That was a democratic govt policy for our ppl. Please understand, we helped create the republican party to fight their b!gotry.
Such an emotional and powerful song!! As mucb as I love Tupac's harder, faster songs his slower ones are amazing as well. Beautiful reaction my lovely Maddy!! 🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️
His mom was a political activist and part of the Black Panthers. His god mother I believe escaped prison and fled to Cuba
Great reaction ❤❤
The official Mother's Day song in the Black community
Yeah Pac is the king
It's culture. The culture is to blame.
Thanks for keeping it 💯 for any cause.
❤️
2pac's mother was a Black Panther member
He wasnt in the video physically because he was in prison at the time, I used to always wonder why he hasnt in the video lol
First off. Love your videos. I subscribed a month or so ago. Watching your reaction to this song is real. What you are seeing and how you are responding is correct. You should check out his other song. A great one. Called, Unconditional Love. By Tupac. Deep song.
❤️
Actually more Black men are in their kids lives compared to other men, look it up.
2pacs father is still alive. His name is Billy Garland
I Totally Agree An Tupac Would Totally Agree With You Beautiful Black Queen ❤❤❤ Also Keep Ya Head By Tupac Was Another Great Song Gem 💎
❤️
He knew he was going to die early which is why he signed over his music and other contracts to his mum
Nothing like a pretty, intelligent hip woman, nice job 👍
❤️
This was always a great song thanks Maddy
Always a pleasure watching Ur reaction Ur so pretty aswell hope Ur having a lovely Sunday afternoon
❤️
My favorite part
😇 You're appreciated
*As a child I used to play the Alto Saxophone and was heavy into Jazz music. My Older Brother whom of which was cool with Tupac's family used to always tell me "you should listen to 2pac because he's writing songs about our lives." I didn't really like what was considered Gangsta Hip Hop then and didn't listen. As an adult I started to listen to 2pac and I realized everything he was saying in his music my Brother and I could relate to and went through. Also Tupac's Father is alive and you should listen to his interview for perspective because everything isn't always what it seems!*
❤️
His dad is still alive his name is Billy Garland
She was a black panther. That's why she was arrested
Afeni Shakur is probably the most famous Black panther. An incredible woman in her own right.
Thank you Maddy!
❤️
God Bless u 🙏🏽😮💨😌💙
❤️
I wonder what your reaction will be on “Keep ya head up”. If you don’t know it yet, You will love it!
Keep in mind pac wrote this at 22-23 . On the toilet might I add.
😭
Thoughtful reaction!
