@Tokarev. You are correct: they are discontinuing the standard range model S and model X in favour of the more expesive but longer range versions of each model. It will allow them to concentrate more on the model 3.
You are comparing Tesla 37k entry model with 70k Jaguar and Audi. Sure 70k Jaguar is more fun to drive then the SR+ RWD Tesla 3, but get a Performance AWD Tesla M3 and it's a different story and it's still full 20k cheaper
@anthony gomes Yes, the model S is in the same price range, but it is 400kg (881 pounds) lighter than both the Model X and the Audi E-Tron. It's aerodynamical properties are also far greater than both the Model X and the E-Tron which allows it to get the fast acceleration and range. This is why I was aggravated over the fact that they are comparing a medium sized sedan to an SUV. Also, neither the model X or the Y are actual SUV's, the right term for them are crossovers because of their stream lined design. I'm unsure about the Ipace also being an SUV, I think it's also classified as a crossover. Funny enough, this makes the E-Tron the first *real* electric SUV. At this point you're probably asking yourself, "whats the point of hating on Tesla"? Well I'm not, in fact I have a model 3 myself and I love it. Then why am I rooting for Audi? Well it happens to be that I got the Audi too. *insert awkward laughter*. Why did I get the E-Tron over the Model X. My garage roof isn't tall enough for the doors to open while parked inside it pluss I really need a roof-box when I go skiing, or visit my cabin, and I honesly prefer German engineering over cars made to drive on a flat road in California. I live in Norway btw. *"Well Tesla have so much more range"*. Let's dive into some statistics. The model X (long range, cus thats's the cheapest version they sell now) starts around 90k I think and have a max range of about 295 miles (wltp). The e-tron's start price is like 75k (with upgrade packs, let's say 80k) and have a range of about 250 miles (wltp). I think the "price to range" is justified because the E-Tron weigh a bit more in the first place. Apperently Audi also only chargers their battery up to 88% to make the battery last longer. Hopefully I gave you some more insight into my perspective about this.
@anthony gomes Well the Model X isn't rated as an suv (even tho it's not important because it's certainly big enough to get the title 😂. But whatever, the Y, is an suv even tho it's smaller and have the same shape as the X. The real point of my comment was to defend the e tron against all the hate 🤷♂️
The more I think about this the more the comparison doesn't make sense. For the avoidance of doubt I have an eNiro, so not biased I think. Let's first imahine this review had compared the Tesla Performance version to bring the price points closer to the Jag and Audi, then which car wins? Looks: No winner. Personal preference. My vote is for the Tesla Performance with its proper 20" alloys, lowered suspension and sports brakes, but I also like the distinctiveness of the Jag and familiarity of the Audi. Performance: Tesla (30% faster than the Jag and almost 100% faster than the Audi). Handling: Tesla (according to tens of reviews) Ride: I suspect all are very competent. Range: Tesla Charging speed (on anything up to a 50 kWh charger): Tesla, due to having a smaller battery with longest range) Charging (more than 50 kWh): Tesla, as it does fastest MPH charging [Tesla has higher peak power and Audi has longer sustained high power charging, but due to inefficient drive the Tesla wins when you look at Miles per Hour rate in all situations] High speed charging network availability: Tesla Quality: Price aside, it would be the Jag, but all reviews say 'Tesla very nearly as good as the Jag' which I agree with - it's not quite as plush. If you have to take into account the M3 is £20K less expensive than the Jag and Audi featured on this video. I am sure Tesla could add a lot more 'quality' for the extra money. Personally I would take 'nearly as good' and then use the extra 20k and buy an MG EZS as a second car). Having driven the Jag for a week, I prefer the simplicity of the Tesla instead of many multiple screens and heavy leather of the other two. I think the quality of the Tesla is its ground up distinctiveness of its interior. Storage capacity: Audi wins (biggest boot and hatch back). Tesla does incredibly well having more storage than Jag though (although not a hatch). Rear passenger comfort (assuming adult passengers) : Jag or Audi win. Technology: Tesla - neither of the other two will get software updates that add anything meaningful. Jaguar software has always been a disaster. Tesla will update every year, and has a roadmap of new features. What's already in the Tesla beats the other two hands-down and it will only get better. Price: Tesla Model 3 Performance is still £10k less than base model Jag (which was not the model featured.in this video incidentally) If you don't enter the discussion with a bias, then I am not sure how you could conclude the Tesla isn't the clear winner.
SLH SLH so if Tesla is soooo amazing - why hasn’t it won the accolades the IPace have? Your a fanboy. Ride - Tesla is BS, perceived and actual quality - Tesla is BS, Tech Jag is trash. I drive an Audi S5 but if I could pick any of the 3 it would be the Jag, quality, price, looks and ride.
@@anthonydayspring9923 fair enough at the end of the day each to their own. No one is losing out here. The more people switch to EVs the better. That's Tesla's ultimate goal atleast
well... I bought the Standard Range Plus but I was also considering the I-Pace I was not interested in getting the AWD or P model 3 because the range is already as good as the others and is really the one you should compare performancewise

I was sure someone mentioned this... and I'm glad people are well informed! The performance and 4-wheeldrive aspects of this video were just plain wrong and badly presented.

Interesting review but Tesla Base model isn’t fair in this lineup.also no one mentioned the autopilot.tesla is The only one that can blast up and down the uk motorway network all day long and fast charge at the superchargers in around 20-25 minutes.plus version 3 superchargers will be even quicker.tesla are miles ahead of the competition.full stop.plus tesla has hundreds of free destination chargers at hotels and restaurants so never too far from a free charger.
Not much use if your not actually staying at one of the ( in fact few) hotels with chargers, or if there are already more than 2 or 3 teslas there though. Plus the autopilot is neither reliable nor fully functional in the UK. And good luck getting the tesla fixed if you have an accident.
Least expensive Tesla has the most range, fastest charging time, and best auto pilot tech. Review claims that the EPA rated 205 mile audi got 'close to 248' miles. I call b$. It's been tested back to back versus Tesla model X and 3 and does not come close.
yeah, it's a shame that autopilot in Europe is so dulled down, nearly caused me an accident as it won't take even moderate turn now as it's legally limited
iirc Carbuyer has some custom 'real world' range test that involves doing a short (~20 mile) drive and then extrapolating out to determine actual range... Oh - and as far as I saw, there was *no* comment about the efficiency - or lack thereof - of the different cars (e.g. the fact that the Model 3 can get significantly more range, on the performance / long range model, from a much smaller battery - and what that means for your wallet and charge frequency), or the fact that JLRs own mobile app gives an effective range (on the highway, with aircon etc on) of only ~140 miles. I appreciate that car reviewers are starting to cover EVs - but the amount of inaccurate information and over-selling of some models is pretty horrific.
Which is crazy... since the battery size of the Model X, the Jag and the Audi are similar (100 vs 95 KwHr.) The range of the Model X is 325 miles. Even though the Model 3 "only" has a 75KwHr battery, the EPA rates the Tesla Model 3 range at 310 miles... over 90 more miles compared to the Audi, and 76 more than the iPace. How is it possible that the iPace and e-Tron are so inefficient?
I think the reviewers are too traditional and didn't research the vehicles enough to understand that the details and that the model 3 wheel covers can be removed
Step 1: Buy 2 SR+ Model 3s and full self-driving package Step 2: Wait till the Tesla robotaxi network comes online Step 3: Put them on the nextwork Step 4: Profit
@@TheJPHarvey Well. If you want a 'better car', get the Model 3 performance. Period. The Jag and Audi will need half a decade to catch up to it performance and refinement wise. They are so far behind.
Yes the bias is subtle. Using the cheapest model 3 even when the most expensive is cheaper than the other cars makes no sense. Describing the inside of Model-3 as “all you get is the screen”, then describing the screen as an entertainment system doesn’t do it justice. And focusing on fart noises for over half the driving...? Saying the model 3 quality is so much improved leaves out whether it’s GOOD or not, and how it compares.
I own a 3 SR+ and checked the I Pace out, I feel this review is accurate. What they did in the interior clearly reflects what passenger do on my car since they are amazed of every little bit that's different
John W apparently dealerships in the US have a 6 month supply of IPace’s already and are discounting each by $10,000 - suggesting they’re not selling all that well (compared to model 3). insideevs.com/news/362859/jaguar-i-pace-dealer-inventory/
@anthony gomes Jag are selling to dealers... dealers aren't selling them to customers at the same rate (hence having 6 month inventory sat with US dealers)
Clearly he's never driven s P3D because he wouldn't be voting for the jag for performance better range way faster acceleration cheaper price Model 3P>Jaguar I pace
The model 3 is a lot cheaper than the other two and it has a proper functional supercharger network all over Europe and the USA and the others have not. All these cars are brilliant, the Audi being a bit of a let down in the face of the other two, but I think that auto testers need to understand that without fuel the cars are next to useless (stating the obvious). Im biased as Im as a Tesla P85 Model S owner 5 years 85K miles . Now Tesla have a network that will allow me to go to Sorento without planning, ok a bit extreme but it makes my point. Five years ago that was not the case and I had to use public changers a bit, the difference was immediately obvious. Tesla have improved on the best since then and now are unbeatable, the public changing is getting better but for me its not something i have to or would rely on. For a tiny upstart company like Tesal to put their hands in their pockets and build the network they have is unbelievable. Here is a road test that tells a typical public charging story ruclips.net/video/_Fex5mvVFEU/видео.html (BTW although this happens to feature the ipace I am in no way insinuating this is a Jaguar problem it is for any non Tesla , it is a superb car but consider your case use and away from home charging)
EU Go the quality is great, better than my previous Volvo V60. The handling and driving is superb, it's literally like a sports car, except it can seat 5 people and a lot of luggage.
OK, the test is a little weird. They should have had an X (or wait for the Y). But I'm going to watch it anyway. What's coming next: The BMW 3-series vs Audi Q5 test...?
I thought you needed the HUD for the model 3..... you honestly don't. It takes a couple of days and you wont miss it. As other mentions - the performance version really leaves the Jag in the dust. The LR awd belittles the Jag as well on acceleration and does have 4-wheel drive as the performance version and they charge a lot faster than the Jag - namely 250 kW vs. 100 kW. Btw the Performance does not jave the aerohub wheels but 20" imch alloys and it is still a lot cheaper than the Jag. But I am sure the Jag looks better with a union jack on the roof and the Model 3 isn't available in British racing green 😉
One HUGE thing they overlooked. The ability for Tesla vehicles to update their operating system over the air and improve performance/add new features. Advanced summon, Netflix/RUclips streaming coming later this year. Tesla vehicles actually get better over time.
@@TfGamess well yes but it's all about quality, and putting all in one central display is not driver friendly...When cars become autonomous than all buttons and multiple screens will become useless...

Agreed. So many people do reviews and have very little knowledge of the car. Right when he said ludicrous mode I knew he didn't really know about the model 3. Spent so much time on fart mode and don't mention OTAs?
If the iPace was so truly superior why aren't they flying off the lots instead of having a 6 month inventory backup? Spoilers : it's because this is a really bad review, did you notice she had to keep reigning him back on what he was saying about the model 3? There's some clearly unchecked bias here. Cheapest M3 vs. top tier Jag, hmmm.
model 3 is the ONLY car I’d consider. The I-Pace has terrible service since it’s a brand new vehicle that’s completely different than any other car the manufacturer makes. JLR resources are finite too. Audi’s e_Tron is a failure. The poor range, high price and generic looks are not anything to get excited about. I could have 2 base Model 3s or one I-Pace or E-Tron. No thanks. If you see the front quarter of a model 3 from the side, it looks remarkably like an Aston Martin. The biggest feature of the Tesla is the constant software updates. You’re never going to be stuck with some out of date turd like you will be with the other two.
This comparison is quite ridiculous. My guess is that they didn't compare with Model S/X (Raven) because Jaguar and Audi offerings aren't even close. So they picked the slow trim of Model 3 to compare against. Disingenuous.
These two are totally clueless about cars. They stick a base model 3 with 2 luxury SUVs, at least should have used a Tesla model X for this comparo. Tho I have to give credit to Jaguar for it's design, I would still not buy one. If won or given one, I'd sell it and buy a Tesla Model -S 90D
Why do so many reviews state how long to charge from empty? I have a daily commute from 60-85 miles per day. My Model 3 takes about 2.5 - 3.5 hours to charge while I sleep every night. That’s what happens 99% of the time. On a road trip it takes about 20-30 minutes at a Supercharger to charge. I wake up with a full charge 99% of the time. I actually only charge to 85% to prolong battery life. I do enjoy your videos. I think they’re great. Just wanted to make a constructive point.
Just to be clear, those wheel covers on the Model 3 come off to reveal a nice set of gunmetal finished alloys. And there are other wheels options. Strange that that wasn't mentioned within the snarky criticism. I was looking at the Jaguar as a replacement to my Model X once the lease ends in December. And I walked away with a totally different opinion. I suppose that the interior is nice for what it is. But having owned Range Rovers, the interior of the iPace seemed very ordinary and unexceptional. It's only special looking if this is someone's first luxury car experience. First impression driving it, it's quick but not fast. The Model X and the Model 3 Performance simply blow it away... it's so obvious, that there is absolutely no possible way to argue that fact. The iPace steers nice and flat, but Model 3 handles sharp like a Porsche Boxter. Even though the 95KwHr battery size of the iPace is much larger than the 75KwHr battery in the Model 3, the range is about 70 miles shorter than the Tesla. How is it possible for a clean-sheet design EV to be that inefficient? The performance of the Tesla beats the iPace, the price beats the iPace, the range beats the iPace, the tech beats the iPace, the interior design arguably beats the conventional iPace. I understand why the iPace is appealing, especially if you "need" a small hatchback. I would seriously consider one if Tesla weren't an option. But Tesla exists, and they've done a better job. That this RUclips duo was gushing about the iPace is just strange.
If you want a fast electric car you want a Tesla or a Porsche absolutely but if you're driving them everyday you want the Jaguar. Tesla (model S and 3, not had the X but it's a bit too gimmicky for me) are too hard suspension wise for me, driving the model 3 on the motorway was pleasant but once you got into towns and cities with rougher roads it was so noisy and uncomfortable, the model S was the other way if anything, a little uncomfortable in more urban areas but I could live with it for short drives but long distance driving was awful! Sometimes it left my legs numb at the end of a long drive and I could barely walk! I did like the range of it though, could get over 350 miles if you drove sensibly! I recently changed to the I-Pace and it's just the best as an everyday, to live with electric car I've come across so far! Far more comfortable than any Tesla I've been in, massively prefer the interior setup, it's not as boring or silly as a Tesla, it's not massively quick despite twin motors but it's a decent sized and heavy car, plus a company car so I don't plan to race it 😂 for me its just the best all rounder like they said in the video, if you want a fast electric car I used to say get a performance Tesla but having felt the speed of the fast Taycan, that's where you want to go for an insanely fast electric car! I feel if Tesla actually got some car designers and engineers in and stopped trying dictate the future to car makers far more advanced than they are, they could actually make the best electric car but unfortunately they're too focused on gimmicks, speed and sending cars into space than actually focussing on things like comfort, handling and reliability. I don't hate Tesla I want to make that clear, their battery tech is amazing and how quickly they've gone from the first gen roadster all the way to the truck prototypes beggars belief. They just need to nail a daily driver that's got a bit more about it than a model 3, preferably get rid of that screen too, it's terrible for night driving in the countryside!
The Jag iPace is that great it has 6 months inventory at dealerships across the USA, selling only 220 units a month. Owner forums are full of unhappy customers concerned about build issues etc!
Thomas Rücker What a stupid Test! A Model 3 Performance is way better and faster than the Audi or the Jaguar. And compare it to a Model x or s please !!
No mention of the real life 200 mile range of the Jag, its inability to charge 3 phase, its lack of a home charger, its high price (you get a 7-seat Model X 100D for the same money), its lack of free 4G connectivity and continuous software updates. I drove it as an alternative to our Model S, as I genuinely like its shape. After an afternoon with the car, I left it disappointed...

Gotta compare model 3 performance which will have similar prices. This base model 3 you’re comparing is 10s of thousands cheaper than the iPace and Etron
After watching the video I can tell these reviewers are only focused on 0-60 and accelerating out of turns. They looked almost sad when talking about the etron. Its a SUV that can move more stuff than the other 2. Did they expect it to have 1.0g on the skidpad? Calling the I-Pace a SUV is a joke since it's basically a raised hatchback. If they really wanted to push the cars they should have put on aftermarket rubber. And I know you can't compare the 3 cars perfectly since they're in different segments, but why not at least get the M3P and at least get similar price. If they were wowed by the I-pace's 0-60 they would have lost bladder control with a M3P. When they said it was the best Tesla they drove I was thinking how could they not like the speed of the Model S P100D in Ludicrous - then I saw the Audi part of the segment where they chastised the Audi for driving like a boat. They're even misinformed by stating the M3P has Ludicrous mode (which to date it does not). So basically the reviewers are a couple of teenagers who like peeling out and giggling to fart sounds.
"Tesla is a tech company, not a car maker" ugh, that's plain wrong and I guess the biggest stereotype you could pin on them. You think they make phones and computers?? Plus that model 3 was around 20k cheaper than the Audi and Jag, that's just not comparable in terms of "luxury" it has to offer. I know this channel is not the best at comparing things, but you're again not doing yourself a favor with that one ...
this is really like comparing the cheapest tesla to the a expensive jaguar.... model 3 of course have best tech but fuki it the jaguar is more like a S class
So they decide to compare: - A £68,020 E-Tron - A £60,995 I-Pace - A £38,900 Model 3 I think everyone's primary complaint is that there's literally a £60,000 Model 3 they could have used in this comparison.
I can’t bare the comment section because of the TESLA trolls. I’d pick the Jag. I like my premium car to be exclusive and built right. Single screen for everything is done to save on cost. Pure and simple. It’s a great car in the same way an iPhone is a great product but it’s not the only f**king EV and choice is the spice of life. Bravo to other OEMs for joining the game.
Audi have openly admitted they admire Tesla electrek.co/2016/03/24/audi-ev-chief-tesla/ They've been busy reverse engineering Tesla's for years. Model 3 is now the best selling sedan in america (not just EV). Tesla model 3 gross margin has been in the range from over 25% down to 19% at end of Q2 2019. Therefore they're not making a loss from making model 3's (unlike legacy auto manufacturers) - however, they are an expanding company building factories around the world and building a supercharger infrastructure etc. which costs quite a lot. Doesn't need to make a profit to get other companies like Jaguar or BMW or Audi worried, just need to eat into their market share which is exactly what they're doing. First 15 years or so Amazon never made a profit either. Tesla might not have made an annual profit yet... It's no easy task to take on the automotive industry, but as Audi openly admitted - Tesla "did everything right" and there's no evidence to suggest they're not still doing just that.
The sports seats in the Jaguar HSE are not standard they are an option! The Jag needs 22” wheels, then it looks right! Not comparing cars in same price range is not acceptable and shows a clear bias. No car in world is even close to Tesla Model 3 in price, reliability, acceleration, range, safety ratings, autonomy, interior space , comfort. Also, actual range is inflated by all Tesla competitors. Tesla's range is as good If not better than advertised.
How do you compare a compact sedan that’s 30,000 to an 80,000 suv? Bc they’re electric? I think it’s great that even the most basic Tesla is still better than competitors. It’s also interesting to see some ppls idea of “luxury.” Buttons & dials? Seems like a faux attempt to con consumers with overwhelming amounts “ooo shiny!” With a Tesla any & everything the ev can offer is in the convenience of a touch of a finger. That’s luxury. But rlly if we are going to talk of convenience, what is it like to take a road trip in any other ev, besides a Tesla? Tesla charging network is incomparable to any other manufacturer. What is the cost of maintenance on each ev? Besides Fords release of the model T no other manufacturer has mass produced vehicles In the way Tesla has. How do you compare these manufacturers; you don’t?
The way to make the I-Pace cheaper would be to make it more efficient. They could put in a smaller battery and get the same range. The added benefit is it would also be lighter which helps everything including range.
while the i-pace is a good car this is little biased , the boot may be more practical but it has less overall space under the parcel (363l) vs model 3 (436) and no contest with the frunk ipace 18l , model 3 72l , plus is being compared the lowest spec model 3 which cost half of what is this high spec ipace, nevertheless, a still far cheaper long range model 3 has the same or better perfomance and better handling than the ipace even with standard spring as per all the other reviews around

@anthony gomes the model y will be a mini SUV with a rear slope roof, as the model X which IS a SUV
Handling: Tesla (according to tens of reviews)
Ride: I suspect all are very competent.
Range: Tesla
Charging speed (on anything up to a 50 kWh charger): Tesla, due to having a smaller battery with longest range)
Charging (more than 50 kWh): Tesla, as it does fastest MPH charging [Tesla has higher peak power and Audi has longer sustained high power charging, but due to inefficient drive the Tesla wins when you look at Miles per Hour rate in all situations]
High speed charging network availability: Tesla
Quality: Price aside, it would be the Jag, but all reviews say 'Tesla very nearly as good as the Jag' which I agree with - it's not quite as plush.
Price: Tesla Model 3 Performance is still £10k less than base model Jag (which was not the model featured.in this video incidentally)
If you don't enter the discussion with a bias, then I am not sure how you could conclude the Tesla isn't the clear winner.
Very good points
Alex yep 👍, we do not even offer to list any ev for rentals if they do not have fsd, tesla is the clear winner in the ev market for now.

Thank you summer tyme.
iirc Carbuyer has some custom 'real world' range test that involves doing a short (~20 mile) drive and then extrapolating out to determine actual range...
Why didn’t they mention the awards of the model 3. When there is so many more than the Jaguar I-pace
Who gives a fudge when money are spent on cheap plastic all around

They learning more from the comments below their videos than their research about car. I've dozens of examples of that.
Wheel caps can come off and you are Free to upgrade them, with Superior caps.
The caps add about 4% to the range of the car. They can easily be popped off and reveal the great alloys underneath for a more traditional look.

Tesla Superchargers v3.0 will reduce the recharge time by more than 50%.
Here is a road test that tells a typical public charging story ruclips.net/video/_Fex5mvVFEU/видео.html (BTW although this happens to feature the ipace I am in no way insinuating this is a Jaguar problem it is for any non Tesla , it is a superb car but consider your case use and away from home charging)

model 3 is the ONLY car I’d consider.

Shocking you've not used the performance model 3. You'd never have the i-pace being the better car if you had... Maybe that's why you didn't.. ?

Driven all these cars, the Jag is superb, so is the Tesla, but the Audi less so - but the Audi’s ride is superb and has stunning build quality, just dull steering, also the Audi”s brakes are superb much bettering than the Jags / Tesla’s
The sports seats are a no cost option on the HSE.
No they are not, I own a Jaguar I Pace First Edition and performance Seats in the Jag they show are optional
@@atlantikav5902 I don't care what you paid for them on a different model. That is the first edition, this is the HSE.
As of right now you can go to the Jaguar site and spec up a car. Tick ipace HSE option then go to seats. The sports seats are a zero cost option right now.
The model three is 35,000 dollars! What are you even talking about? There’s a comparably priced Tesla! Why didn’t you use that for comparison? Because it’s a hit job, that’s why. Between these three cars, the Tesla is cheaper, longer range, better automated steering, better charging network, etc. what are you guys talking about??
Tokarev online the price is higher, but you can call up the dealership and still get the $35,000 dollar base, in the US. Might be higher in the UK, but still WAY cheaper than the iPace or etron.
I'd still have the Tesla anyday, thanks
Great review... Next episode could you guys review a Honda HR-V versus a Porsche Cayman?
This review shows bias towards Jaguar / Audi. The entry level model 3 is not even near the same price bracket as the other two. A new model S (after drive train improvements earlier this year) would be the closest Tesla match. Spend twice the money and you should get a better car. Can the I-pace compete with the newest model S? Looking forward to a follow up on this.
Kept my minivan for the family trips got the Tesla 3 for local and work commute. ❤️my Tesla.
Outside of a British millionaire who would trust their money in a Jaguar electric car? Obviously a biased review. Tesla is the electric vehicle standard and there is comfort in the numbers that they are selling and that Tesla will be here in the Future.
Personally i like the e tron because i have one myself. Its not the best car, but i enjoy It being so lux and quiet car. For sure the best Long travel car maybe. Lemme know which out of these 3 cars is the best?
Finally, all of the cars from the same country. Not imported from the U.S.A. and Germany
TESLA MODEL 3 LOST THE DAMN grill unlike audi or i pace.. you are building electric car not a bloody combustion car . loose the ugly grill in front... an the interiors and 15,16 inch touch screen of tesla model 3,y just the way i like it.....even hyundai kona is also good but tesla model 3.y is the best.... the touch screen, phone app controls, charge etc..the best tesla for now.. i hope hyundai kona etc are listening..
@John W so am I, I would rather be involed with model 3, model y . Thanks but no thanks jaguar..!
Agree. Grills are just so ugly!
@@robo19681963 ya.. they are electric cars and way better than ICE ..
Damn Audi and Jag, those cars look really nice... unfortunately Tesla still looks like a used bar of soap😒
Why on earth are they comparing a model 3 to SUV’s. Why don’t they compare a model X... they didn’t even compare the performance model 3 to them to get it close to the same price point.
Car Buyer - it would have been a More Fair comparison with a Tesla model X BASE model with the I-Pace and e-Tron.
obviously a BASED Review, and you did not even mention the AP3 & FSD features.
Or OTAs!
the Model 3 isn't an SUV. You want apples to apples? Compare these to the Model X and then see how badly Jaguar and Audi compare. Not that it isn't a good thing that they are trying, but this is their first attempt and it's unrealistic for them to compare to Tesla.
the camera inside the cars seem to have foggy lens or something
The Jag is to me, the best looking one 🎉🎉 greetings from Honduras, big fan of yours 🙌
Slow sales for these euro EVs?
If jag can get fsd to work, we will list them, keep me posted?
JAG cant even get Active suspension or Tire Pressure gauges to work.
Jaguar paid how much for that?
ahahaha.. this review cherry picks specs from a range of trim levels and gives favors to lesser capable vehicles. two SUVs and a sedan:)
Why does Audi offer optional cameras instead of normal mirrors? What's the benefit?
J S reduces drag.
@@hmm2928 By a miniscule amount. Honestly, it's just not worth it, it's still a bulky SUV.
Mirrors are much more comfortable than displays (eyes don't have to refocus from far to near sight) and you see a 3 dimensional picture that allows you to estimate distances.
@@wermagst i believe Elon Musk mentioned something about the advantages of not having physical side mirrors. At some point in the not too distant future he will offer upgrades to not have mirrors once the new mirrorless option gets approved in the US. Less drag and less parts sticking out that get hit all the time. I am sure they can have some side screens that can mimic mirrors without stick out.
@@strykerace I've tested it, it's really uncomfortable to have a 2D picture on a screen instead of the 3D view of a mirror. Hopefully autonomous driving will be available soon enough, then we won't need mirrors at all 😁
Jaguar has won all these awards for their i-pace yet they're having trouble selling it lol.
Due to limited charging on the go I expect. Lots of charging points don't work so it's hit and miss - a bit like a red phone box in the 1980s, but without the smell of wee! Then when you find one it takes ages to charge. I had a 3 hour test drive in one the other day and it's very good. But I've bought the Tesla 3 - more "car-like" to drive and a good deal cheaper.
@@hughchilds5888 congrats! The model 3 is an amazing vehicle.
Looking at the Jaguar again, I don’t think it’s that attractive. It’s not selling well either, which proves which is best. Quite a biased review.
Nise bro ❤❤
SERIOUSLY - was there nobody else available in say, a space as big as a phone box to pick more capable motoring reviewers????
What is Tezla?
That jaguar looks so good. the designers really have hit it out of the park. Fabulous.
The Audi's a big comfortable practical cruiser and that's why it's the one I'd have...if I could afford it.
2nd of agust 2019 and you still have mic's that rape my soul
while the i-pace is a good car this is little biased , the boot may be more practical but it has less overall space under the parcel (363l) vs model 3 (436) and no contest with the frunk ipace 18l , model 3 72l , plus is being compared the lowest spec model 3 which cost half of what is this high spec ipace, nevertheless, a still far cheaper long range model 3 has the same or better perfomance and better handling than the ipace even with standard spring as per all the other reviews around
I-Pace: 0-60, 4.5 sec.........Come on, tell us the truth how fast is the Model 3 performance ?
even the Standard Base model 3 is 3.5 seconds.
