Going back to Buckshot Roulette, I think they made the Dealer smarter once the game was updated for Steam. At least whenever I played it, he always seemed to keep the track of what the last bullet is and all that. Things could get tough and cruel in an instant, especially in the "Double or Nothing" mode. I still find it weird, if computer DOESN'T count bullets/cards in the game, but I would understand, if that's a way to make game more "fair"

The simplicity of the concept yet intricacy of making a right move and setting up a successful endgame, they definitely captured the vibe of Buckshot Roulette. Add more different cards and more utility tools to use, and no round will be be alike to other ✨

i dont think its the original cards that matter on the table but whats currently on the table. So if theres 12 redraws max and 10 redraws on the table currently, its 2 redraws left, even if there was more redraws but they changed. So when the dealer kept redoing an item slot, all of those only count for that card slot so its still just 1 used. If he changed a redraw to a fire, its not still a redraw, thats gone back into the pool.
You can actually use the items right away I think. You have to put them away, then turn around and use them after being put into the cage. The only time you can't is if getting the item is the very last move before the turn gets passed over to the dealer.

No, you're only saying that because they used Cards. The game was inspired by Buckshot roulette and made for a Game Jam contest. I am not saying there was no inspiration from Inscryption and it may remind you personally of Inscription but it factually is not related to Inscryption, just uses cards.

the amount of utilities and redraws was different depending on the difficulty you played on. Do you think he was lying and it was still the original ratio of 24 to 10 or the ratio changed to 23 to 11?
Its incredibly frustrating to watch when insym complains about game mechanics that he also could use, but refuse to understand... The AI is not cheating when using the Crowbar... When you get them you are still in the Utility Area and you could use the Crowbar yourself, but nothing else... The AI is not cheating to use the Crowbar early just smarter. The AI can't use other Utilits because it wants to taunt you, it just follows the Gamerules
I did that thing several times throughout this video but you probably didn't notice it or are just calling me stupid malicously. I just think it's an unfair mechanic in general as it has so much potential to entirely fuck you (or the dealer) over with nothing you can do. If you get any good item you basically have a 1/6 chance (or however many items there are) that you'll immediately lose it with no counterplay whatsoever. I just find that kind of annoying. Especially since you can steal crowbars which imo has to be an oversight from the developer. In buckshot roulette for example you're not allowed to steal the item used to steal because that would always be done and it just leads to a very unfun combo of moves where one person steals all the crowbars in a row. Especially if you got a crowbar when the dealer had no items. If the dealer gets a crowbar you're guaranteed to lose the crowbar and whatever other good item you have. Which is very unfun design in my opinion no matter whether it's in your advantage or disadvantage. You're free to disagree. Also the game stated that the AI would play unfair. So me assuming at first there was cheating involved is totally understandable but you decide to just be condescending and rude about it. We're all humans here. A little empathy goes a long way.

The Gamedesigner can use the criticism to change the Game and make it better. i just wished that you saw the AI using the Gamedesign and would have tested it for yourself instead of assuming the AI is cheating. I saw in your video that you later used it, too. I wrote the comment around the 25 Min and was happy that you used it. And its totally fair to criticize these mechanic. I think the Game needs somelingh like a "safe closet" where one or maybe 2 of your items are save. I think that would amke thecrowbar fair again, since either you get an item stolen while you have plenty of them and your most precious item/s can't be stolen.
