Being in an 3rd world tiny Kingdom of Eswatini, I am amazed to watch a humble, loving mom, teaching millions of 🎹 lovers how to play with simplicity. In my country our women don't get much interest in playing instruments but are traditionally more happy with singing in the choir than learning to play. Thanks for igniting my passion for music. Be blessed Madam
Just started learning piano, and found this channel. Lisa is pure gold, always smiling and really kind, brighten my day. Keep up the good work, thank you for being with us! :)
I haven't played the piano in 20 years and just got an electric one. Was immediately sad because I forgot literally everything. Watched this video and it brought back so much muscle/note memory that I started riffing and it sounded pretty good. Thank you!
Definitely! Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven! Thanks a lot for share those examples using minor chords progression, Pianote! Your videos are the best! It's time to practice these beautiful chords progression guys!🔥
You are an amazing teacher! Your links and virtual mentoring over only a week of finding your posts have propelled me to a new level of playing/understanding. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! My favorite minor chord progression is BDG/Am-F-G-Em.
It's hard to pick a favorite chord progression when playing chord progressions are one of my favourite things to do in the world. Thank you for all the great content and tools to get better.
Your videos are so helpful. I've played and written on guitar for decades, but I've been stuck on piano for years. I can play all the chords but have had issues playoing melodies. I have zero interest in learning to read music so all this is perfect for me. Thank you for your smile and instruction.
Love it!! I would by pass your videos till I just thought, "Ok. I'll watch this." Boy!! I'm so glad I did. This will help me in my warming up. God bless you! Keep up the inspiring teachings.
These are all awesome. I'm loving the first progression. But I can easily see experimenting with the other two. My wife even said, "keep playing...that sounds really good."
I like the first one. I'm a beginner. Was hard at first but I started trying the chords right handed and the broken chords left handed, and doing a little arpeggio on the last chord with both hands and it was sounding very nice.
This is great! Thank you, but one question... in the first progression, the G# chord... You're saying it's G# -C-E#. Playing an E# there doesn't sound right to me. Do you mean G#-C-D#?Or maybe I'm not understanding correctly..? Thank you, I really love these lessons!
Appreciate this video. Great sounding progressions! How would you typically tackle this? Would you pick a key signature and then pick the chords? Or pick the chords first and designate the most fitting notes for the melody? I always struggle thinking outside the box on how to fit notes outside of the key signature to include some variation. Any recommendations?
Hello ma'am.. Pianote's been a virtual teacher since months..I'd love to watch n learn from your content. I have a request..can u please refer me some vintage sad chord progressions or pop songs to try make some music and for songwriting too..!?
Merci beaucoup 👍🏻 Beautiful chord progressions indeed. Got a request. Could you specify in which scale are we ? Are we in tonal or modal scale ? I started piano 1 year ago. Very interesting. Anyway, keep it going. Great channel 😊👍🏻
Just curious what key that first progression is in? I generally can heard the chord qualities and figure out what key a progression is in, but I think the inversions and the G# at the end is throwing me off… thank you!
For progression number two - everything seems to be in key for Dminor until the C# when it resolves to the A. Even though it sounds good of course. So what key is that progression in then? Sorry i'm new & still trying to understand all this theory
This is awesome. Gonna see if I can use these in some Christmas songs we’re doing. Maybe as transitions. Also, potentially for our house of worship. Thank you.
I’m sure no one can answer this. I play guitar but recently I’m teaching myself piano (mostly from your videos). Why can’t I use my right hand thumb to make chords without it feeling like torture? It feels unnatural having to twist my right hand the way I am. Anyone else have to go through this when they started out?
the second progression made me cry. the last one I adore, played with it in such a beautiful way

I like your channel 👍👍👍
I believe the last note in the first progression is D#, not E# like it says on the screen:)

I generally can heard the chord qualities and figure out what key a progression is in, but I think the inversions and the G# at the end is throwing me off… thank you!
great
Very nice sounding chords. What are their keys or numbers? Looks like some chords are borrowed or altered but i can be wrong.
Brilliant.. kindly play some chords on 7/8 time signature just like this.thanks
Please don’t stop

SUBLIME ❤❤🌹🌹j'ai du mal à vous lire mais j'adore votre votre chaine ❤❤❤❤
Do more sad/emotional chord progressions pleaseeee
Is the second one Sting Shape of My Heart?
Its pretty much the same!
1:10 I believe has a typo. You say "D sharp", but the text reads "E#"
Yes. In the scale she is playing E# is not even possible to play
Please F minor scale and chords from Do to Do
This is awesome. Gonna see if I can use these in some Christmas songs we’re doing. Maybe as transitions. Also, potentially for our house of worship. Thank you.
Let us know how it goes :) and merry christmas!
Shape Of My Heart?
moonlight sonata of course
cant deny that progression
Was the second song Classical Gas?
3:58 sounds familiar, whats the song?
Sting - shape of my heart
the second one is from a song by Sting correct.
Here we go
4:00
Sting
Curious why you called the last chord g sharp and not a flat?
Am I the only one feeling Moonlight Sonata?
G# = G# - C - Eb
Yes or g# - c - d#
Ilike

Moonlight sonata
Golden Hour!? (PS) please do a tutorial!
🌹🧡🧡👼🏻😘
Can you do winter by Vivaldi
ill put it on the list!
😊
Since there are 12 keys in an octave, so if we learn all their Major and Minor, that means there are only 12 x 2 = 24 chords to learn really?
First one kinda sounds like parts of Elton John's, "Funeral for a Friend". Yes?
