My sequoia leaked from the upper corner on the windshield on the driver side and ran down the A Pilar and would soak the carpet in the exact same spot. Took me a while to figure out where it was coming from. I’ve heard that if you’ve ever had you windshield replaced and they cut through the paint the channel will rust and a leak will develop. Just a heads up that might be where your leak is coming from. The leak runs behind the trim so If you pull off the a pilar trim you will be able to tell if that’s where it is leaking.
Props on tackling this on your own, lockers and re-gears are tricky. That's being said, hard to tell from the angle in the video but it looks like you're measuring the backlash incorrectly. Looks like you're measuring on the coast side (angled side)of the ring gear and the angle doesn't of the indicator doesn't look right. The way you have it set up will read less backlash than you actually have. The indicator should be on the drive side (flat side) of the ring gear at a 90deg angle.
Been curious why there hasn't been a video on a ARB locker install Thanks for the install! Curious why you only used blue locktite as opposed to red locktite for the ring gear?
Yeah theres not that much out there for 1st Gen Sequoia's so I thought I share my experiences. I didnt check what locktite it was. It was from Harbor Freight

Just heat
