Total newb here & you've saved my @$$ big time! Also, I wish other peeps posting any & everything would watch your videos... You're hella chill & your demeanor / presentation is awesome. Thanks dude!
So how long do you leave it in there with the vinyl on ? Also what type of vinyl are you using ? 🤔 is it hightemp ? And what brand ? Love the part came out awesome !
Great info. I have some questions about doing a base cost adding a decal then powder coating over it. I watched your video when you did brakes like that. But haven’t been able to make it work out for me. Wondering if you could offer more advice ?
Cool, I have a project coming up that is way different than yours, specialized access badges for an event. Still fleshing out the details, and waiting for artwork from the marketing team. Was thinking about anodizing but I don't want to work with chemicals. But the question of doing multi-color powder coating was the thing I was wondering about. Seeing what you did here answers that question, sort of. The next question is fine details as in how detailed can things be?
Great video, thank you for sharing this. The parts in the video look like aluminium. Is there any other preparation needed for ally over steel other than blasting, out gassing and degrease? I ask as I regularly do steel but have been asked to do some ally parts now. Kind regards Paul from 48 Spokes 🇬🇧
Wow looked awesome yes I subscribe yes I smacked dat bell yes I'll be watching and learning more!!! And yes I have questions a bunch of them! I will be looking back at other vids to see if I can learn more!! 1- noticed you touched substrate with bare hands, want that hurt leaving a "oil from fingers" on it? 2-looked to see what equipment you use but no links r mention cept for tape. Would like to know more about them ( gun, decal printer, etc.) 3rd and prolly not last, your oven, is it home made r bought?
I've been having issues with masking, the vinyl that shipped with my US Cutter got brittle and left all the adhesive behind, the green and orange mask both left all the adhesive behind and the green let red bleed through. I'm struggling to figure out what I'm doing wrong, what temp are you flowing out at? That's the only thing I can think of that could be causing this for me, I'm flowing out at 400 for 3-4 minutes then pulling the part out. Should I be flowing out at a lower temp? I did pick up some Oracal 651 and I will try that next but the fact that it's happening with all the materials I try makes me think there is an error in my process. Any suggestions for a newcomer? Also will naptha remove the adhesive without damaging the paint? I'm planning to clear over everything so the finish isn't a huge deal but I need the color...
I've never had adhesive stay. Try the 651, I like to just barely start to flow it out before removing the vinyl. I'm gonna make a new video showing it!

Great video.
Amazing what can be done with powder coating.
That job turned out spectacular
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words!
What was the purpose of the final cure? Had you only done a partial cure before you removed the tape?
I’m new to powder coating and I’m finding your videos very informative thanks buddy from me in the uk 👍🏻

Liked and subscribed and followed on Tiktok. I think thats how I originally found you.
Is it safe to bake vinyl? I thought it released chlorine gas at those temperatures?
Hi there what kind of vinyl areyou using for the letters high temp ?

@@UnknownCoatings Thanks, I will try this out next!
Nice job dude
Hi
Can you explain the symptoms of over curing or under curing when powder coating. Thanks
What gun setup are you running? Any issues with it?
Nice!! All in the details👌
Thanks Alan!
What voltage were you running at. That powder is sticking sooo well
I cant even remember, I typically list KV in my videos probably 55ish

Good clean job 👍
Just starting out , adding to my paint shop , what kind of gun are you using ?
For any engine parts do you pre heat to extract the oils that are in the pors before powder coating ? Or you just blast and clean?
How long do you leave in the oven for each and once the last is done how long for final cure?
when doing a half cure how long do you let it cook for?
what kind of vinyl do you use to do this or does it not matter
Awesome!
Great video and tutorial Thank you!
What are you using for a gun?
Nice !
Thanks!
What type of vinyl are you using? Is that just 651 and you're just letting it gel out?
What kind of vinyl are you using?
Stumbled onto your channel. Great content! Is it possible to do gloss black over matte black? (2 stage with graphics being in matte?)
Good job Brother 🥃
Great video, Shawn!! Love it!! Are you using Oracle 651 vinyl or 631?
J Series for the win
What vinyl do you use to plot the stickers?
Typically Oracal 651
@@UnknownCoatings oh i thought it would melt 😂

Looks good man.
I haven't done a chanel yet, because I don't like criticism.
Damn I'd like to share some knowledge though.
what is the audio heard at the very end of the video?? LOL
The let my dick breathe part?
Bad ass!!
I have like this video. I hope you felt a jolt as your self esteem rose just a little as it did it. 🤩
🔥🔥🔥💎🔥🔥🔥
Fyeeeeerrrrr
I would've liked to see it cleared 4 stage lol
Would have had to be 5 stage since the red and white are gloss and the black is matte lol
МОЛОдец !!!
Don’t you have to put a Matt clear, thanks, great video
Nope! And thank you!

Alvin and the chipmunks music really sucks I didn't even finish the video
Oh noooo a guy named bubba didn't like the music and ALSO thought I valued his entirely irrelevant opinion! Whatever will I do?!!
For the love of God, lose the music
