This is the best fire I’ve seen in Godot. Awesome tutorial!
Thanks 😊
"Smoke don't glow." lol True dat. Great vid. You deserve more views. Thanks
now that is a proper tutorial! Big thanks!
Some of the stuff here is amazing, this will be useful af
Wow this is pure quality, you are one of the best Godot instructors that I have seen, your videos are short and you go straight to the point, I know that doing this kind of video requires a lot of effort, I appreciate what you are doing, initially to make it grow a channel it's usually slow, but don't lose motivation you are doing it well, I know that people will come to your channel because your content is worth gold, here I will be supporting you, thank you. If you have plans to make more videos about effects, I would like to see at some point, the portal effect that the game "Diablo II" has
Thanks a lot 😊,
Yes I will make more videos of visual effect, because I think current there are not much of them on RUclips. I will check the portal in "Diablo 2" and try to recreate it.
I am a new developer in Godot. Thanks for giving me the tutorial.
Really Thanks 😊
You're welcome
You're gonna be a big channel one day. Please remember me when you get big.
Whoa, men your fire tutorial is the best among others I've seen.. Nice one
Thanks
Thanks alot bro
So good.
Awesome 😐
Good work!
Thanks
You deserve more subscribes...
And Please make More particle tutorial...explosions, muzzle flash etc...
Can u try making 3d particles please??
I can't make the look good...
Yes, I will make more tutorial in future.
Unfortunately I didn't work on 3D now, but I thing adding glow, and using good image is the key to make it look great
Great tutorial, love the fire. maybe a bit fast to follow (constantly have to pauze ) but still an amazing vid and learned alot
Thanks, I will keep that in mind
@@dicode1q I think quick tutorial are better...🤗
I followed this guide and made your fire, it looks great... but the glow from WorldEnvironment affects every single graphic in the whole scene... Which is not what you want. Is there any way to simulate this on ONLY the fire?
OMG. How long does it take to figure all of this out? Is it possible to export some frames of it to generate an animated sprite? Just my thought how this could be optimized on low systems.
I think on low system you should turn off glow, and maybe you wanna use CPU particle2D instead of regular one
If u upload the particle scene on Godot assets library then it can become Godot particle pack like unity has one...
Nice idea, I will see about it
@@dicode1q thanks...👍😊
I suggest to post your new videos on Reddit: r/godot, your channel is going to explode!
Yeah, I tried that. It do help me to get some views :)
Greaet lesson, but they changed a lot of things in Godot 4, not my fire doesn't exactly looks like yours. It looks worse :(
It's completely messed up one way or the other. The unique doesn't work no matter where you do it, everything changes everywhere and loading and saving doesn't make sense either.
how do you make it a flamethrower?
Give some initial velocity in the x axis.
Remove gravity
Under coordinate unckeck local coord
Change some other properties according to your need.
Then you can just spawn this flame particle from your gun.
