    Wow this is pure quality, you are one of the best Godot instructors that I have seen, your videos are short and you go straight to the point, I know that doing this kind of video requires a lot of effort, I appreciate what you are doing, initially to make it grow a channel it's usually slow, but don't lose motivation you are doing it well, I know that people will come to your channel because your content is worth gold, here I will be supporting you, thank you. If you have plans to make more videos about effects, I would like to see at some point, the portal effect that the game "Diablo II" has

      Thanks a lot 😊,
      Yes I will make more videos of visual effect, because I think current there are not much of them on RUclips. I will check the portal in "Diablo 2" and try to recreate it.

    I followed this guide and made your fire, it looks great... but the glow from WorldEnvironment affects every single graphic in the whole scene... Which is not what you want. Is there any way to simulate this on ONLY the fire?

    OMG. How long does it take to figure all of this out? Is it possible to export some frames of it to generate an animated sprite? Just my thought how this could be optimized on low systems.

    • @dicode1q
      @dicode1q  2 года назад +1

      I think on low system you should turn off glow, and maybe you wanna use CPU particle2D instead of regular one

  • @maniksharma9736
    @maniksharma9736 2 года назад +1

    If u upload the particle scene on Godot assets library then it can become Godot particle pack like unity has one...

    It's completely messed up one way or the other. The unique doesn't work no matter where you do it, everything changes everywhere and loading and saving doesn't make sense either.

    how do you make it a flamethrower?

    • @dicode1q
      @dicode1q  2 года назад

      Give some initial velocity in the x axis.
      Remove gravity
      Under coordinate unckeck local coord
      Change some other properties according to your need.
      Then you can just spawn this flame particle from your gun.
