To help with even illumination throughout the dash it seems. If you don’t put any, my best guess there will be spots in the dash where it is brighter and the lighting will be uneven.
@@seshelbow336 thank you so much. I bought a jdm AP1 cluster and it’s in Km and I’ve been looking but found nothing . The only thing I found was some guy named mark from the UK. I found him on Honda forums and he has a website and I tried to msg him but never got back to me. Again I really appreciate it the help
@@thatswhatshesaid3406 not a problem. Yeah I know who you mean when you say mark....does his second name begin with an L? Rings a bell anyway.....I think he was trying to make a device to make the clusters plug and play in EG civics years ago.

Would there be a problem with heat due to covering the vented holes with tape?
LEDs barely put off heat compared to the incandescent bulbs that were in there.
Logic tells me no, but I could be wrong.

You can buy a cheap converter for maybe 20 dollars....only 4 wires. People in the UK use them when they import cars
