I love how much you respect your body and have taken the time to learn what its telling you and how to treat it best. Now, any recommendations for getting the kids to sleep past 6… my two girls are 4 and 2 and they love to wake up before 6 🤪
Ah, that's hard. We put our kids down around 8 and they normally sleep till 7-8 if they played a lot that day. If they stay inside all day, they don't need as much sleep. I always try to get them outside to ground them, get energy out and to help them sleep longer!
A few years back I switched to decaf coffee because I had very high cortisol levels. I was also drinking around 4-5 cups a day! Now I only have a decaf coffee in the morning with breakfast, and it's helped with my anxiety a lot.
Lovely morning routine! I've never been a morning person and envy the Mommas that make this a priority. I feel like my mornings wake up chaotic with a 2 and 4 yr old. I totally relate with the getting ready "sprint" 😆 Also, you talking about your mascara reminded me of my favorite mascara... you should give it a try! It's the Thrive Causemetics liquid lash extensions. It's a fabulous clean makeup brand and the mascara is stellar. It comes off in tubes so makeup remover is not needed. It also creates beautiful full and long lashes with only one layer 😊

Hey, Margaret! I’ve been following you for a few months and I absolutely love your content and everything you post. I always look forward to your videos. Thanks for sharing about simple, healthy living! I have been on a similar journey the past year or two. I just read a book that was absolutely life changing and I am pretty sure you will love it too. It goes along with everything you are teaching but living according to our monthly cycles. Eating, exercising and working/living depending on what phase were in. All along I have been pushing myself and burning out, spiking my cortisol, exhausting my adrenals, and experiencing mood swings. Its called “In the FLO,” by Alisa Vitti. I hope you can read it!! It has changed my life and I wish I knew about this decades ago. ❤️
Today was the day I realized coffee may not be serving my body very well. So sad because I love coffee! I’ve started adding collagen and trying to hold off till after breakfast but I think it is really messing with my hormones 😢
